show/hide tool pane via quick tools or pull down menu
Please let users create a quick tool that allows to show/hide the tool pane. Alternatively, let users open the tooI pane as a pull down menu. Basically, I am only asking to get back what we had in previous versions of Acrobat Pro where tools would open as a pull down menu. It would be nice to show/hide the tool pane without mental effort, without scratching the head about memorized keyboard shortcuts (I understand that I can do so via SHIFT+F4 but then users have a lot of keyboard shortcuts to remember across a lot of software tools.)

Request signature with password protect
I would like to be able to send Request Signature documents from inside of Adobe that are password protected. It seems silly that we can password protect documents from inside of adobe for viewing but can't select a recipient to send the that same documents for them to view, sign, and return, all while being password protected. I guess if security is of the utmost concern then Adobe is not the program you should select to send secure documents. I hope they fix this function soon.

suddenly shutting down while doing ocr
im using acrobat dc pro on windows 11 64bit, and the program suddenly shuts down with no error message while doing korean ocr. (with the same document, english ocr works well.) i've reinstalled windows and acrobat, deleted all fonts, but the problem occurs again.
(i think windows 11 is not the reason because there was same problem on windows 10)

Bug - Yellow Text Highlighting No Longer Works
One of your recent updates broke my ability to use the yellow highlighter on the ribbon tool bar at the top in Acrobat to highlight text in PDF documents. This used to work great but now when I try to highlight, it grabs a huge area of the document and is completely useless now. See attachments. I use this all the time (or I did) so please fix this ASAP! Thanks.

Make null value an option in dropdown list user interface
Currently you have to use Java Script to create a dropdown list that includes an item with a null (blank) export value. There is not way to add a null value to the list in the Prepare Forms - Dropdown Properties user interface. You can create a list item that looks blank by using the space bar, but that is not the same as null and will generate an error when importing the data into our database (where true null is an acceptable entry, but any text entries that don't match the validation list are not, and the entire record will be rejected). Those of us who don't create a lot of forms need a way to add a null value item through the user interface instead of having to learn to use Java.

Adobe Acrobat DC Pro - Export to image only save pages as separate images - ????!!!
Why is there always something not working properly in Adobe?
I want to export all pages in one PDF to ONE SINGLE IMAGE FILE, not a separate image for each **** page. Why is that so impossible to do? It is frustrating - my goodness.

Wanted: Acrobat DC updates WITHOUT system reboot
ISSUE
- Acrobat DC on Win10 system does updates in the background without asking
- requires system reboot afterwards / otherwise no access to PDF files anymore
- the updates interrupt the whole working process and costs valuable time saving and closing all projects and rebooting the system in order to get Acrobat running again
REQUEST TO ADOBE SUPPORT
Will this be fixed in an upcoming upgrade / e.g. the announced 64-bit roll-out of Acrobat? Thanks

Retain currency formatting when Requesting Signatures
When requesting signatures on a PDF form with currency fields, the currency formatting disappears when the form is sent for signatures. Specifically, I have a requisition form with item costs, shipping, tax, and total amount that are formatted to display the dollar sign and decimal places. Once the requisition is filled out, it is sent for approval signatures using 'Request Signatures'. After specifying the email address to send to and right-clicking the 'Specify where to sign' button, the dollar sign and commas disappear. This is a bug and should be fixed.

OCR should recognize industry standard OCR characters and optical scan/reader codes
Acrobat DC for Mac's OCR continuously mis-recognizes standardized OCR characters such as those on checks and commercial forms. Those characters are designed to be highly readable at high speed and a standard quality scan (let alone a high quality one) should be sufficient for proper recognition by Acrobat.
Similarly, it routinely tries to translate address codes (the string of full and half-height vertical bars used by postal readers to sort mail), even if it does occasionally recognize the entire code as one "word." Fortunately, it usually includes it for review, but it shouldn't be difficult to recognize the standardized format, or even catch that "IiIII1II1IIi!ii" is highly unlikely to not be text, especially when it goes on for 2-3+ inches. (If anything, I would expect Acrobat to recognize the code as its alphanumeric translation--not a feature I'm requesting.)
QR-type codes also should be recognizable as such. Both the large consumer size and the small "thumbnail" commercial size found on forms and bills are a standard that Acrobat's OCR engine "knows" and doesn't try to recognize as text characters.
All cases are consistent errors based on 300 ppi black & white scans with no compression, from "crisp" printing and no background. This has been replicated on four scanners from three separate manufacturers, two sheet-fed only (Brother and Epson) and two both sheet-fed and single page from the platen glass (high- and mid-grade HP OfficeJet series).

Scope and associated header cells in tables should show when you hover over a cell
It would be amazing if you didn't have to go all the way inside Cell Properties to check and see what a header cell's scope is set as, and what header cells are associated with any given cell in a table. If, once you were already inside Table Editor, that information would be available when you hover over any given cell (could be a feature that can be turned on or off), it would save so much time and effort in a very tedious job.
When a table is really large or complicated, it can be easy to lose your place when assigning associated headers and scope, and it would be a huge timesaver/help to have this info available on a hover-over.
Thanks for listening!

[BUG] dgn.de eIDAS certificate not verifying correctly
Certificates issued by dgn.de fail to verifiy even though they're eIDAS compliant. It seems that the certificate which is used to sign the OCSP response is not in the known list (which it should be as it is also an eIDAS certificate). For OCSP the certificate is used: dgnservice qOCSP 23:PN.
The company has also discovered the issue.5 votes -
Document quality reduction when sending for signature
When sending a document for signature with Adobe Sign, the document is automatically reduced and it turns blurry which makes the document very hard to read. The quality of the final signed copy is fine. The document send for signature shouldn't be reduced as the recipient needs to be able to read properly before signing.

Improve form field auto detection
I am currently stuck on a project here due to the sometimes unpredictable and difficult to work with form field auto detection in Acrobat. I am designing a rather complex form in InDesign and exporting the PDF to have the form fields auto-generated in Acrobat.
Radio Buttons in particular are the trickiest to work with because of their demanding conditions. It is leading to a frustrating end-user experience when the radio button form fields get generated as circular check boxes which is intuitive and confusing. It seems to unexpectedly incorrectly interpret them as check boxes in some cases, and correctly interpret them in other cases even though the conditions are similar.

Highlighting tool
Recently, the highlighter tool would remain selected so that I was able to use it to highlight multiple bits of text without having to select the tool for each thing I wanted to highlight. Now, I must re-select the tool each time, resulting in hundreds of extraneous clicks. How can I get the highlighter tool to stay selected?
This problem only began in the last week or so.
Thanks for your help.

Insert Answer Text Fields into a Multi-line Text Field
It would be so convenient especially for contracts with long lists of terms and conditions, to have the signer enter their group name as an answer in a text field, and be able to insert that text field of their group name as needed throughout the multi-line scrolling text field.
