Adobe Acrobate Doesnt work with Fillable forms of the LiveCycle Type
It is completely mind numbing that this product doesnt work with Live Cycle Designer files. These are the PDF files that are used by the IRS. So I can not fill in a form from the IRS and save it. BUT Apple Preview works perfectly fine on these files. So my FREE PDF viewer works better than this Adobe PDF P.O.S. What a waste of a product.

Specify Order of Review by Recipients of Shared Portfolios or PDF documents
In this age of social distancing and teleworking, having the ability to use Adobe Acrobat sharing of portfolios or PDF documents for the review and approval of organizational documents provides an additional reason for companies and organizations to use Adobe Acrobat in their everyday operations. The need is to have the ability to select the order in which a shared document or portfolio is viewed/commented by emailed addressees so that the review process can meet organizational processes/steps.

Acrobat DC - Can't paste content into alt text or document properties fields
After the most recent Acrobat DC update, we suddenly could not paste any text into the alt text field or the title, subject, author, and keyword fields in document properties. The cursor was there, but nothing appeared when we tried to paste. This happened when copying from any application (Word, PowerPoint, even from within the PDF itself). Oddly, we could paste into the body of the PDF, just not the alt text and document property fields. Ultimately we had to uninstall and reinstall, which seemed to fix the problem. But we have no idea what caused this malfunction in the first place. It happened with four different PC users but not with Mac users.

Combine use of stylus and fingerpint
I do a lot of pdf commenting, and I use a stylus/pen on a touch screen laptop to make this easier. The problem is that once I turn on the highlighter tool, I can't use my finger to scroll through the document, because Acrobat doesn't distinguish between the finger input and the stylus input. So I have to manually switch back and forth between the highlight tool and the arrow tool. Most other touch-capable PDF programs distinguish between finger input and stylus input, allowing you to scroll through the document with your finger and then highlight as needed. Is there any way this can be done with Acrobat?

Option to add file name suffix in PDF settings
It would be great to have the option to append an exported PDF file name with for example "print", "proof", "_cropped" in the PDF settings.
Clients often require a print PDF with spreads, marks and bleeds and also web versions cropped and exported at screen resolution.
It would be great to differentiate these files automatically, especially when exporting large batches of files.
Please also add to option to export more than one PDF when packaging files for delivery.1 vote -
Searchable linked Sharepoint/cloud files
Our organisation has Acrobat linked to our Sharepoint page, which we upload hundreds of work orders to. Our tradesmen will then simply open the relevant work order folder, and check out a work order .pdf as they are using it.
Currently they will have to sort through the hundreds of open work orders however, as the search bar in the top right corner does not recognise Sharepoint file/folder names, only local.Could I please request that the functionality of this search bar is extended to include linked Sharepoint, cloud etc. services? As more organisations move to cloud based data storage, I think this is going to become more relevant and frustrating.

Enable the facility to allow forms to accept backing file upload by signers
When on-boarding new customers, it is required to receive backing data for identification purposes as part of anti-money laundering requirements. Currently, this is not allowable via the Adobe Sign service when requiring a form to have a signature. It would be extremely useful for this to be available within the financial services sector and I am sure many other service organisations. Should you require further clarity, I am more than happy to assist.

Back button on Adobe sign
A back button (while saving your changes) would be so helpful! There have been instances on a document where I forgot to add two signers and have to start completely fresh after adding all the signature spots! OR if you miss the step of adding a password at the beginning step, you have to start all over again!

Doc comparision doesn't recognize hyphenated words are the same
The doc comparison needs to be improved. It doesn't recognize that hyphenated words are in-fact the same words. I have an example but am unable to upload a screenshot.

Update/republish shared document with SAME link
We need to be able to replace a shared document with an updated version, without sending out a fresh set of links to everyone.
In a collaborative process, where a document is getting lots of review comments, eventually it becomes crowded and it's time to take on all the comments and republish version 2 (or 3 etc).
Acrobat Pro DC does not allow this. We have to issue every reader with new links - this is tedious and error-prone for the document creator, and confusing for the recipients.
I tried deleting pages and replacing them with new ones -- but Acrobat got into a horrible mess because it tried to put the comments back onto the new pages. I could not delete the comments made by others.
For us this is a critical feature.

Two up + cover page option for page display.
I would like to view documents designed with a cover and spreads as two up. There is a two up option currently, but I want it to ignore the cover.
Currently you can only do this by changing the document settings, saving, quitting and reopening it.
I don't want to edit the document to change the view, and I am unable to do so with restricted files.

Adobe Acrobat Logo
For the millions of corporate/government users who use Microsoft Windows, the taskbar is near black. The new Adobe Acrobat (black) logo is difficult to quickly identify. Perhaps a different color would be ideal, maybe a light gray?

Allow greater precision for control points in Geospatial Measures Dictionary
In the Adobe SDK Extension to the PDF (ISO32000) standard, Extension Level 3, there are several Array structures that encode a series of control points for Geospatial measurement.
In particular, we are interested in the /GPTS and /LPTS arrays in the Geospatial Measure Dictionary.
Since the elements of these arrays are PDF number objects, we can only expect a limited amount of floating-point precision to be preserved by PDF reader implementations (which typically represent PDF number objects as either 32-bit integers or 32-bit IEEE 754 single-precision floating point). This amount of precision is often insufficient for workflows that involve recovering precise geospatial data from Geospatial PDFs.
For example, imagine we have a control point at the center of the court at Adobe Headquarters (latitude 37.33106, longitude -121.8937). Given that a 32-bit float has ~7 digits of precision, we can expect to see at least some error in the last digit when we perform arithmetic using that control point and page point locations. In order to get a sense of the scale of the error, let's vary each coordinate by 1 on the last digit (eg. latitude 37.33105, longitude -121.8935): we get a location that is ~10 meters away from center of the court (nearby the southeast corner of the court). Thus, by commutativity, we could expect to be introducing error of that magnitude to all locations described by the Geospatial measurement frame.
In order to better preserve coordinate precision, it would be beneficial to amend the supplemental specification to allow a greater number of significant figures to be encoded in control point coordinates. This would eliminate the control points as a significant source of error (leaving only the page point coordinates, which could then at least be preserved in the maximum fidelity allowed by their own PDF number representation).
We suggest that this could be accomplished by allowing optional arrays, corresponding to the /GPTS and /LPTS arrays, that would store string objects instead of number objects. These objects could be parsed by the consuming application as floating-point values of arbitrary precision. These optional arrays would be included in addition to and in supplement to the /GPTS and /LPTS arrays, and could be ignored by applications that do not require that level of precision.

Unwanted fields in fill & sign form
The form below is an Adobe PDF printout from an Excel spreadsheet. For some reason, fill & sign always adds unwanted, mandatory fields to my document, they just appear, and I have to delete them every time. I send this form for signature dozens of times per week, so this is becoming more time consuming the more I use fill and sign. Your help with this bug would be most appreciated.

Alt text as searchable content in PDFs
Would love for alt text to be part of the searchable text in Acrobat's "Find" function—whether that's alt text that's been added in Acrobat as a tag or has been set up prior in another program (like INDD).

Thanks for connecting with us. We have taken you suggestion and we have kept it in our radar. Currently we do not plan to implement it in near future but you may see it coming in future releases. Thanks

Option that allows for only one window to open on taskbar when you hover or click on Adobe
Currently when you have more than one thing opened and you want to get back to it and you don't have Adobe open it brings up all your tabs and then you have to click on the specific one. I want to have an option that allows you to just click on the program and for it to open right away on the last tab you were on rather than having that extra step of clicking on the specific PDF ever time

Confirmation box when OCR is complete
I have a lot of documents to scan, save, and upload and I wish that Acrobat DC would put a little confirmation box so I can remember if I have performed the OCR already, because for some reason it is easy to forget and there seems to be no way to confirm the OCR has been performed and no way to set Acrobat to provide such confirmation.
