new font selection feature sucks
Hi,
I use Acrobat for wok daily, and use the font selection on a regular basis to format for legibility. I know exactly the fonts I am looking to select. The feature was working just fine before.
Then you decided to add a sentence about a brown fox jumping next to each font selection. As a result, you managed to slow down both the app and my workflow. Please revert the change!!! You're making it so much more difficult for those of us who know what they're doing. I thought I signed up for Acrobat Pro. Why are there training wheels on it now??

System crashed: How can I read OST emails through a web browser?
After a system crash, Outlook stopped working completely. The OST file still exists, but it does not open anymore. I only need to read old emails in a browser without restoring the full Outlook setup. What options do I have?

Spanish translation issue in Acrobat Accessibility options in the Spanish version.
In the Spanish version of Adobe Acrobat, the option corresponding to
“Change only black text and line art” is translated as:“Cambiar solo el color del texto negro o arte lineal”
The use of “o” (or) is misleading. It suggests an alternative or exclusive choice, while the original English text clearly refers to both elements together (“text and line art”).
This wording creates confusion for users and makes it difficult to understand how this option interacts with the following one (“Change line art as well as text”).
Suggested fix: replace “o” with “y”, or rephrase the Spanish text to explicitly state that both black text and black line art are affected.

Windows 11 taskbar uncombined
Strange behavior on Windows 11 taskbar when uncombined. As you can see in the attached video, the Adobe Acrobat icon is duplicated when shifting the windows to another monitor and stays like that until I close the app and open it again.
It becomes very annoying when opening many files such as 5 or more. The taskbar will be full of Acrobat.111 votes -

tabs
On MacOS Tahoe 26.0.1, while switching between tabs, the window automatically comes out of maximized mode. It is a minor issue, though unexpected. I want my windows to remain the way it is.

Switching Tabs in Full Screen Mode Exits Full Screen
When Acrobat is placed in full screen and multiple PDFs are open in tabs, everything works correctly at first — new files open as additional tabs within the same full-screen window. However, when switching between these tabs (for example, clicking from one document tab to another), Acrobat immediately exits full screen and reverts to a standard desktop window.
This behaviour breaks macOS’s Spaces workflow, which is essential for professionals who rely on full-screen app management and gesture-based navigation between programs. It only occurs in Acrobat; other apps remain stable in full screen on Tahoe.
The issue appears to have started after updating to macOS Tahoe 26.0.1, suggesting that Acrobat’s window/tab handling is no longer compatible with the current full-screen API.
Please investigate and restore proper full-screen tab behaviour so that switching between tabs within Acrobat does not cause the application to exit full screen.

MBOX to EML Conversion – A Complete Guide
When users need to access their MBOX email data in different email clients (like Microsoft Outlook or Apple Mail), converting MBOX files into the more widely-used EML format becomes necessary. Here’s an easy-to-follow guide for performing this conversion. https://www.kmttech.com/mbox-to-eml.html
Why Convert MBOX to EML?
MBOX files store email data in a single file, which can be cumbersome to manage across different platforms. The EML format, on the other hand, is a more versatile file format used by most email clients. It allows individual emails to be opened, read, and transferred easily across various platforms.
Methods of Conversion:
1. Using Software Tools (Manual Process)Several tools are available that make MBOX to EML conversion straightforward. These programs don’t require coding skills and often come with a graphical user interface (GUI). Here’s how the process generally works:
Choose Your Tool: KMTTECH MBOX to EML Converter Each tool provides its own set of features for bulk conversion, batch processing, and more.
Install the Tool: Download the tool from a trusted source and follow the installation steps. Make sure to download it only from the official website to avoid malicious software.
Load the MBOX Files: Open the tool and upload your MBOX files. This can usually be done by clicking an Add or Import button.
Set Output Preferences: Choose EML as the target format and select the location where the converted files should be saved. Most tools allow you to choose between converting all emails or selecting a specific range.
Start the Conversion: After everything is set up, click Convert to start the process. The tool will process the MBOX file and save individual emails as EML files in your chosen output folder.
Check the Output: Once the conversion is complete, go to the output folder and ensure all emails are successfully converted to EML files.

Adobe Acrobat fails to render PDF content when Form XObjects are too deeply nested
- Open the attached "test53.pdf" in Adobe Acrobat.
- The PDF contains 53 levels of nested Form XObjects (XObjects within XObjects).
- Beyond a certain depth (52), the nested content does not render at all, even though the PDF is valid according to ISO 32000 (no recursion, only nesting).
Expected behavior:
Content should render consistently, as the PDF spec allows arbitrary nesting of Form XObjects.Actual behavior:
Beyond 52 levels of nesting, the PDF viewer skips rendering the content.Attached is also a "test52.pdf" file with 52 levels of nested Form XObjects that renders correctly.

Bookmark Panel
Please, please allow a feature to DISABLE the bookmarks panel. It is completely useless in most cases but always opens on every new document. I open a lot of new PDFs every day, and EVERY SINGLE ONE pops up with a bookmark panel that is useless and takes up half of the viewing pane, which I then have to close. Truly, it is enough for me to stop using this program and find any other option, even if it has fewer features. This feedback does not seem uncommon when I spent a lot of time searching around for a solution.
Just put an option in the preferences to disable the bookmarks panel, please.

There was an error while reading a stream
I am getting this error message "There was an error while reading a stream" when opening several newly created PDFs today. Older files open fine. I have the latest Adobe reader DC and have tried a reinstall. If I open the files within a browser, either Chrome or Firefox, they open just fine.

Default installation of Adobe Acrobat Pro to include all features and components
Microsoft blocked-off standard users being able to add features later (to the installation from CCDA - eg PreFlight to allow production and verification of PDF/A). This was by blocking MSI repair and feature additions for standard users. MSI being run by SYSTEM/local admin from a full installer and configured to simply pre-install everything does work (eg ADDLOCAL=ALL).
We have now deployed the 64-bit installer as enterprise-managed, as all-inclusive, as above.
Also, we need to either:
• Hide the CCDA installation of Acrobat Pro (because the default does not include all features)
OR
• Have the CCDA configurable to install all features/components by default, so we will not need a separate enterprise-managed installer.Needs to work for Windows 11 and later, and also for Windows 10 for clients on extended security updates (ESU).
