Hi,
I’m really sorry to say this, but Adobe Acrobat Pro on desktop has been extremely slow—especially when editing text. It’s frustrating and feels almost unusable at times. What’s even worse is that after spending an hour editing a document, saving it causes all Turkish characters to turn into unreadable symbols. Why does this happen?
I understand you might suggest adjusting font or encoding settings, but why should a regular user have to deal with that? I’m not supposed to troubleshoot your software—I expect it to work smoothly, especially considering the cost of the Pro version.
Yes, I am actually an engineer, but I shouldn’t have to spend my time fixing basic functionality. The lagging is tolerable, but corrupting the text after all that effort is unacceptable. Please make the product live up to the value it’s priced at.

Critical Bug: Launching Calendar Control crashes Adobe application
Some freebies for Adobe devs, While editing an existing pdf document and if the field has calendar control when clicked as per below steps, the application crashes entirely and unsaved data is lost and non-recoverable;
- Open any editable pdf in Adobe desktop application where one of the field has 'Calendar Control'
- Without clicking on the calendar control itself, manually enter a date for ex: 21/06/25 and tab out, it will automatically format the date
- Now click on the same calendar control and see the magic.
Actual Results: The entire app instance is wiped killed from Windows Memory as if it was never launched.
Relaunch it again and try opening the same pdf and those 'Recover' button reminds me Windows-98 time. Good Luck :)

Highlight Tool: Floating brush & bin icon/palette
The little palette described in the title just appears in fairly random positions below whatever I've just highlighted. It's very often in the way, as I'm working my way down a list. In the case of the attached image, I'm working my way down a bank statement & the palette is covering up the next number (in the grey horontal bar). I can click away to clear it but that is quite lterally doubling the amount of work I have to do. I personally don't need it there at all but I can see how it might be useful to some. I think it would be helpul if we could change the position of it or switch it off completely the way you can with the coordinates box in Photoshop.

Let people choose if they want AI Assistant, and make data privacy clear!
Not everyone wants to use AI, not everyone wants AI to access their private or confidential documents, and not everyone is comfortable with distracting buttons and popups that interrupt actual work.
There may be people who "need" AI to understand simple text documents, but these are probably the exact same people who won't be able to make out the mistakes, approximations and outright hallucinations produced by said AI. You should not put these tools out there without making it VERY clear that they're unreliable (of course then, it would be harder to get people to pay for them...)
Also, I'd really like to be sure that Adobe isn't stealing my data to train this stupid AI. One, I don't want that to happen at all (even outside of actual confidential information... intellectual property, anyone?) and two, if I were okay with that, you should be the one to PAY for that data, not the other way around.
And any feature that needs to be shoved down my throat with intrusive buttons and popups, will just get me very angry and frustrated. I've had to go back to the previous UI, just to be able to f...ing focus on my PDFs' actual content!
