  1. Formating text - and the text box itself - is now IMPOSSIBLE!!

    The newest version of Adobe Acrobat Standard is horrible. I've used Adobe Acrobat in my work forever. Loved it. I upgraded to the newest version (Version 2026.00 1.21431) in August and I still can't work with the text box. And this is the feature I use and need most. I have to save the pdf file, transfer it to my old PC and use my good ole Acrobat 2017, which works beautifully. But the 2017 version will soon no longer be supported.     Lorsque l'on crée un ****** à partir d'une image du presse papier, obtenue à partir d'un "instantané", il n'est pas toujours possible de le modifier par la suite : les "poignées" ne sont pas interactives et il est impossible de le redimensionner.

  4. Printing ignores clipping (bug)

    Adobe bug reporting wouldn’t allow me to post images and files. All are at
    Cross link to similar report at https://github.com/jdaw1/placemat/issues/171

    Consider the PDF placemats. Observe lots of complicated clipping. This was printed successfully from Adobe inside Chrome, but unsuccessfully from Adobe desktop app — major failure of clipping.

    First image is of the Sandeman circle on the first page, as correctly converted to bitmap by GraphicConverter.

    Next is as correctly printed from within Chrome version; Version 137.0.7151.120 (Official Build) (64-bit).

    Then as wrongly printed from Adobe Acrobat 2025.001.20531, 64-bit.

  5. Export PDF comments to .txt, or .docx

    From the Comments pane, I go to the three ellipses to access more options, and choose from there "Export All To Data File", this option provides two file formats only (PDF and XFDF).
    I need to use PDF comments in our office database for analysis, hence I need to export comments in Text format such as .txt, .rtf, or even .docx.

  6. Please give option to DISABLE AI Features

    Please include some way to DISABLE all Generative AI features that sticks. Unclicking the checkbox doesn't help if everytime I restart my computer or receive an update it turns it back on. Generative AI is unhelpful and intrusive. Forcing people to use AI features has a massively negative impact on our environmental footprint. When it is used unnecessarily or without choice, we are using MILLIONS of gallons of water and electricity for no reason. I will be switching to a FREE service that already includes all Adobe Acrobat features if this is not resolved.

    Acrobat ignoriert die Qualitäts- / Größe-Einstellungen bei der "Dateien zusammenführen"-Funktion.
    Wenn ich mehrere Tif-Dateien in einer PDF zusammenfügen möchte, wird die Dateigröße-Einstellung unter Optionen ignoriert. Die PDF ist bei allen drei Einstellungen immer gleich groß und die Bilder haben eine geringe Qualität.

  8. Multiple issues when editing and handling PDF files after latest update.

    After the latest update, several problems occur when working in Adobe Acrobat Reader:

    It is not possible to select text by clicking and dragging the cursor.
    It is not possible to paste copied text into the document.
    It is not possible to resize text boxes/fields.
    Instead, the text wraps to a new line instead of allowing the text box to be expanded.
    It is not possible to drag a tab out of the window to open it in a new window, which prevents working with multiple PDF files side by side.

    These issues significantly impact usability and make normal PDF…

  9. I'm sick to death of seeing the ads every time I open the application.

    for god's sake let me turn that **** off and just take me to my list of recently opened files. I hate this application, its cost and all its bells and whistles. I just need to edit pdfs, otherwise i would be using the free reader. I hate paying 24 bucks a month for just that and cloud storage. I hate the application.

  10. Remove the "Create" button.

    Takes up too much real estate on the UI. It's a terrible design. Always in the way when moving the window. Nobody likes it.

  11. Save comments without "posting" them

    Please configure DC so that comments are automatically saved the moment they are created! Why do I have to "post" it to my offline PDF file that no one else has access to? I had to write the same comment three times, which was very frustrating. I'm using the latest version of Acrobat on a Windows 11 computer.

  15. Extracting one page as picture

    I think software like Adobe Acrobat should be able to extract just one page as a picture in an easy way (JPG or PNG).

    I had to really dig up to find out how to extract one page as a PDF, but actually, I usually need PNG, so I have to convert it again (meaning more time to do a quite simple task). I often need pictures to add to videos in Premiere Pro, and sometimes I do not want to have all 40 pages if I need only one. Also, if you simply use the export feature to JPG…

  16. Appellate Brief and Record

    For multiple hyperlinks to the same online pdf file, Adobe Reader should have the ability to open the linked file only once. Attorneys file appellate Brief pdfs which contain hundreds or thousands of hyperlinks to pages in one lengthy online appellate Record on Appeal, often at the end of each sentence or paragraph. Currently, with each click of a link, the entire lengthy Record on Appeal gets downloaded. It would be immeasurably more usable if the online Record was opened only once, and each click in the Brief to a different page of the same Record goes to that page…

  17. Merging locked PDF files without removing integrity

    In our process it is regularly needed to submit our work of multiple months/years to authorities. This requires a flattened PDF file of all documents included with valid signatures and all other properties. But it is not possible to do this without losing individual properties and signatures.

    After I've prepared the document and want to send it to recipients to sign, I'm told: "We were not able to successfully establish any connection to the server. Kindly save your agreement as a draft and try again later. I'm on windows 11.

  19. Cursor Flickering in Adobe Acrobat Pro with Enlarged Cursor

    This issue appears to be related to cursor behavior when accessibility settings are enabled. For accessibility reasons, the Windows cursor size is set to 9 (enlarged). When using Adobe Acrobat Pro, moving the cursor over a PDF document or navigating between form fields causes the cursor to rapidly switch to the hourglass/working icon, especially when hovering over text fields. This constant flickering and icon change is distracting and makes it difficult to work comfortably.

    I have already tried the following troubleshooting steps, but the issue still occurs:

    • Adjusted Adobe Acrobat Preferences
    • Changed Windows OS settings (animations turned off)
