  1. Most GUI based applications allow the end user to adjust width of a page by grabbing the frame and moving it left or right.

In my specific case, I am editing forms and the Tools pane shows the field names, which is nice, but I have to scroll the window to read the full names. There is a scroll bar on the bottom but this reduces the utility of the feature.

  2. The new update is a major down grade because all PDFs open in the same display. I have the need to view two different PDF documents on different screens, but Adobe does not support this activity in the currently configured system.

  3. Nothing in Acrobat DC feels natural or with a glimpse of intuitive. Adobe tends to override OS given interface interaction limiting it to its Adobe application which is by itself insanely unintuitive. I mean who drove you [the engineering team] to this Interface? Ugly, bloated and counterproductive, not to mention the lack of customization. But this is a path clearly visible in all Adobe applications. Either Adobe reduces its Applications to nearly zero (Lightroom = the *** Cloud version for Desktop) or bloating it until needlessness (Illustrator).
It just creates anger and hate to the one that must accept working…

  4. I can't find any option category to make feature suggestions specifically for the Adobe Admin Centre. Please create such a category so that items relating only to the Admin Centre can be logged there.

    Many thanks.

  5. If there are no open PDFs, there is no reason for Acrobat to open the next PDF in the next staggered position as occurs when opening multiple PDFs at the same time. It interferes with open tools I like to keep on the right side of the screen.

  6. I have customized the Quick Tools bar, but it only appears to the right of the other tools in one ribbon, therefore there isn't enough room for all of the custom tools to appear all the time. I am constantly having to hit the three dots to get to my most frequently used toold. I don't appear to have a way to move my quick toolbar below the other one, or to the right of the screen.

Also, I thought there was a way to customize which tools I saw to the right of the document window. I remember dragging…

  7. The "Highlight Current Bookmark" option currently makes the outline of the bookmark icon a little darker or bolder, but I can barely tell the difference to see which is highlighted. Could the "highlighting" be changed somehow to make it stand out a little more? Maybe the fill color for icon of the current bookmark could be a different color or darker shade.

  9. BUG: Default size when opening a PDF file.
I've tried all the suggestions, but when I open a PDF file, it opens with 199% or 165% BUT NEVER smaller. I would prefer that it ALWAYS opens in 75% or 100%. It is a waste of time to go and click on the - to make it smaller.
I've changed the settings in Edit -- Preferences -- Page Display & Accessibility to 75% / Single Page.
What else can I do?? Please help.

    It is sooo frustrating!

  10. We can use "Enter" to go to the next result when finding text in a PDF, but there is no keyboard shortcut to go to the previous result. I expected "Shift+Enter" to go the previous result, following the convention of using "Shift+<Key>" to navigate backwards, but instead, "Shift+Enter" just goes to the next result.

  11. I LIKE the zoom box. I WANT to see the zoom level, NO MATTER whether I'm in the "window" view or the "tab" view. You removed the zoom box in the window view, to "utilize more space", as your technician wrote me. I DON'T WANT MORE SPACE. I WANT THE ZOOM BOX!!!!!

  12. by clicking three dots (...), a drop-down menu appears which is the closest thing I can achieve to my beloved custom tools that always appeared in the interface, in the order that I selected, and sometimes adjusted. Once something has been done, instead of dropping down the tools, clicking the three dots seems to repeat the most recent action, resulting in unwanted zooming. If you've got the three dots program to repeat the last action, please add an option to stop it.

  13. A quick access toolbar (see the one available in MS Word) is essential for me. Acrobat X/XI had something like it, in that my frequently used tools always would be in the same place. I did customize the tools in my Acrobat DC Pro, and arranged the order the way I like them- at least three times. Nonetheless, my customized tools don't appear at next use.

  14. Pan tool is converting to the selection tool after I pan a sheet. I have pan selected; and am panning over images.

Bump and agreed. The software juggling between pan and select is the most irritating feature I have ever experienced in all adobe products I have ever used. This shouldn't be considered a feature. Anyone who ever uses this has the knowledge to click the select tool before selecting stuff. When you have to browse through dozens of construction plans with comments and the whole bit that can amount to millions of dollars in liability if done wrong, and…

    Hi,

Thanks for reaching out to us for your concerns.
    1) Could you please let me know the current version # of Acrobat that you are working on ?
    2) Is this issue with every PDF that you are trying on or is it specific to some PDF file. Can you please share any sample PDF.
    3) Can you share a Screen Video of the issue so that we have a clear picture when issue gets reproduced.

    Thanks
    Ayush Jain

  16. Each time I open a new doc, I have to click on the left side bar, then click on the pages to show them. My old version saved these settings and any new doc opened the pages would show.

Why did the UI designers complicate things- aesthetically things Look good, but functionality is awful! Please consult with actual users before implementing these ridiculous changes.

  17. Why add an extra task to close a file? Whoever thought of this "brilliant" idea needs to actually work in this software in real life.. this is an annoying extra step.

  18. It's a shame, that Acrobat makes it such a harmfully experience to lower the filesize of a pdf (coming from photoshop Artboard to PDF Export), that actually does nothing!

Filesize goes from 18 MB to 17,5 MB or something (if it even works without errors you can't debug because you can't do something about it).

In the end I have to buy and use third party tools like pdf squeezer (for mac).
One click, and it shrinks the 18 MB to 600 KB! Without lowering the quality!!

Adobe please work on your UI for Acrobat Pro.
    Or even better: Work…

  19. It is very easy to add buttons to left Navigation pane. However, you cannot remove individual buttons.

The only option is to Reset the pane returning the three original buttons (thumbnails, bookmarks, attachments).

It seems there should be a way to remove individual buttons at will (not just reset).

    Thank you

  20. Your recent update of Acrobat DC Pro changed the scope of the search function in the search box in the upper right hand corner.

It used to search among the title of the files in my cloud (about 10,000) on the title of the file with boolean "and" logic if I put multiple descriptors.

Now, it searches on the titles of files AND IN THE FILES which gives back too many search results to be useful for my purposes.

So you can understand exactly: over 3 years I have built my entire library of thousands of documents with no subdirectories…
