Preference option to minimize RH Tools pane on file open in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC
In a preferences option such that the Tools pane (on right hand sight of document window) will or will not display on PDF file open.
his will save time for what I anticipate is a large percentage of users that open PDF documents to read / comment without necessarily using the tools pane on RH side of the window.

Bug: Converting spot colour to cymk PFF corrupts .tiff image
Bug.
Customer supplied files from InDesign cs6 with .tiff picture over a solid spot colour.
When converting the file to CYMK via acrobat pro, the tiff picture corrupts leaving a white space instead of the correct image.
PDF fix up fail to spot or fix issue. Could only be solved by editing original InDesign files, changing spot to CYMK and informing customer.1 vote -

Clearer communication
Adobe newsletter touting availability of Compare feature doesn't mention this is a Pro-only feature. The link from the article lists step-by-step instructions for using this cool feature never once mentioning that it's only available for Pro version. The screencap shows Pro but it is tiny font and very easy to miss.
This required an investment by me and your customer support to resolve this. Better communication on your end about who has access to your features is a good thing.1 vote -
Bug - Acrobat Preflight Fixup Transparency Flattening introduces extreme JPG artifacts
When using the Flatten Transparency Preflight Fixup, transparent images that are flattened are heavily compressed, introducing extreme JPG artifacts and banding in smooth gradients.
This does not match flattening out of Indesign or Illustrator or using the Flattener in the Acrobat Print Production tools. We would expect to get the same results with the Preflight fixup that would be produced with other flattening methods.
See attached with examples of original unflattened art, art flattened with Acrobat Print Production and Acrobat Preflight fixup.
Preflight produces a severely degraded image with visible banding and large artifacts that aren't visible on the other…

When I opened Acrobat DC a few minutes ago, a popup about integration with Microsoft Office hijacked the app for several seconds
Steps to reproduce:
Opened Acrobat DC --- a popup about integration with Microsoft Office appeared.Environment: MacOS 10.11.6, Acrobat DC 2017.009.20044
Expected result:
I should be given immediate access to the Close button or the Continue button.Observed result:
The popup hijacked the app, with a spinning beachball cursor, for several seconds - at least 10 seconds. This is not the only performance issue I've seen - I've reported others that still aren't fixed. It all ads up.2 votes -

actions on Acrobat Pro
I have to put watermark (my logo" on jpg files in a folder and then save new files to another folder; with an action doing:
- add watermark (my logo)
- save in a folder (same name+export as jpeg)
Compared to the version 7 (I used it until yesterday) it is much slower and works worse because to avoid having to close hundreds of pdf files (which are created do not know why) I had to add the action "do not save": note that one pdf always remains open to close at the end anyway.

Bug with % symbols in named destinations
When entering a named destination (for linking to within a PDF), it's impossible to enter a percentage sign ("%", U+0025). The symbol simply disappears from the name once entered.
It's possible it's being misinterpreted as a formatting specifier in a printf call (or something similar).
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open a document and select "Edit PDF"
2. Click the bullseye-icon in the left-most pane ("Destinations")
3. Click "Create New Destination"
4. Type "Bug%Test" and press Enter
5. Note the result is "BugTest" instead of the expected "Bug%Test"Here's an animated screen-capture (which was too large to upload as an attachment): …

"Copy Image" or "Save Image as..." don't work correctly for one specific image in my file
I use Acrobat Version 2015.023.20070 on Windows and the functions "Copy Image" and "Save Image as..." - when selecting an image inside a pdf - work correctly in all cases so far, except:
Except for this specific diagram image at the bottom of the pdf slide attached, where the result is just a distorted part of the original image. I can reproduce the results. Note that if I use "Save Image as..." the resulting file is different from what I get when I use "Copy Image" and paste it into MS Word or MS Paint or Photoshop.

Redaction - similar to overlay text, have an "overlay image" option
The redaction properties allow you to specify custom "overlay text" on redaction marks.
This request is to add a feature for "overlay image" to have an image included on the redaction marks.

Action Wizard causes crash
I've created an Action Wizard that does the following:
-Runs Preflight to convert to PDF/A-1a
-Saves to a Local Folder, appending "_A-1a" to the end of the file name. That's it. I can run this Action Wizard on individual PDFs no problem. But when I use the "Add Files..." option to run this wizard on multiple files, the Action Wizard begins, but crashes Acrobat after the first file. This has been the case for the last few updates to Acrobat DC (15.23.20056.213124), but did used to work with Acrobat DC and previous versions of Acrobat. This is on macOS 10.12.3.

At opening of Pro DC, the Recent tab only searches the last location only
When using the Recent function to find a previously created PDF it would better that the program searches the entire computer for the file. I scan documents to Desktop first and, when done, move it to the appropriate file. With this new program I have to use other venue to search instead of the convenient Recent function. My older version was able to find the file regardless of where it is saved.
