  2. Could you please just STOP CHANGING THINGS?

    I had to spend A FULL HOUR OF MY WORK DAY today just trying to figure out how to add text to a PDF. Why? Because the "Add Text" and "Edit Text" features have now changed such that, instead of adding text where you click, they open up a bunch of raster layers which totally destroy the entire document if you try to type in them.

    Every time I used the "Add Text" or "Edit Text" it would rearrange all of the text of the form I was trying to fill out in ways that turned the entire document into…

  4. Focused link doesn`t work with Screenreader when pressing Enter

    Hi,
    I hope you can help us. We have found out that links cannot be executed with activated screen reader (NVDA, version 2024.4.2) after focusing with the Tab key. Although you can focus the link, you cannot execute it by pressing Enter.

    We use Acrobat Pro 2024.005.20421.

    The links works in other PDF viewers (with NVDA, focussing and Enter).
    In Acrobat Pro It affects almost every document with (many) pages and links.

    Is this a bug? Can you help us with this?

    Despite having disabled generative AI in the preferences, it is still not possible to remove or hide the generative AI button. It does not help that I am trying to use Acrobat for academic purposes, for which generative AI is against academic integrity.

  16. NEED (!!!) a SEARCH BAR in Preferences to find the relevant parameter !!! Are you serious ???

    When we have a problem in Acrobat and try to find a solution by modifying a parameter, we go to [Menu] > [Preferences...] and arrive at a panel containing thousands of parameters in dozens of subsections. We have no choice but to browse and read all the parameters one by one, hoping to find something relevant. It may take hours to go through cycles of "Change a parameter/Restart Acrobat/Check/Undo parameter change/Look for another parameter" with the risk of missing the relevant parameter! This is not a tolerable way to propose parameters when there are so many! You need to update…

    PLEASE stop making this thing pop up at me. I do not want it. Every time I open a document it bugs me to "summarize" it or give me info on it, but the info it gives is incorrect, wrong, and purely made up. It's a stupid, useless tool built on stolen data. Stop shoving it down my throat. I have no need for a inaccurate summary of anything!! What benefit is that?

  19. PDF Maker: New Bug puts <Figure> tags in the wrong reading order

    Affects Windows Office users who use Adobe Acrobat PDF Maker (the Acrobat ribbon) to export PDFs from MS Office apps. Definitely affects US English versions, and may affect other language versions.

    With the recent Acrobat update on either Sept. 12 or Oct. 17, 2023 (Acrobat ver. 23.006.xxxxx with PDF Maker 23 and Library 23.6.136), figures anchored in the Word.docx file do not end up in the correct location in the PDF's tag tree.

    <Figure> tags are scattered randomly throughout the PDF's Tag Tree, sometimes several pages AFTER their anchor point in the Word.docx. Some <Figure> tags do get placed correctly…

  20. Adobe Sign - Edit the CC list when the agreement is still in draft

    It is impossible now to edit the CC list once the agreement is in draft form. Once we save it as a draft, the CC list is locked. We can only cancel the agreement and redo it.
