  1. I came from Acrobat DC, in DC, there's option "Copy selected text into Highlight, Strikethrough, and Underline comment pop-ups" in Commenting preferences. It really speeds up my commenting, because I need to search the highted text, especially in a long document, such as book. So, please add it back. Thanks!

  2. I takes over 30 Seconds to open a simple PDF. It makes me feel like we are back in the 80's.
    I can't belive that no one on your side is testing this stuff properly. Uninstalled and reinstalled the whole thing. Nothing but frustrations.

    -turn on MS Windows 11 machine
    -install Adobe Acrobat 
    -open MS Word 365
    -open existing document
    -file menu -> print
    -select "adobe pdf" for printer
    -print
    -select filename
    -wait for file to be generated
    -ERROR file generated instead of pdf

    ENVIRONMENT
    OS - MS Windows 11 updated today 11.9.2024 "2024-10 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5044380)"

    EXPECTED RESULT:

  6. Two techniques to convert PST emails to PDFs with attachments!

    Method 1: Print Microsoft to PDF with a few emails.

    • Open your PST in Outlook to change emails.
    • Choose Emails: Choose emails to PDF.

    • "Print" creates a PDF. Select "Microsoft Print to PDF" under "Printer."

    • Save: Use "Print Options" to name and save the PDF file. Selecting "Print" changes it.

    Method 2: Converting Files with PST converter software

    • Select a show: Purchase a trustworthy PST-to-PDF converter. Free samples are becoming more common.

  7. It's super annoying we cannot hide the side bars. If I am editing two pdf's side by side they take up a LOT of space. This is a professional app. Also a very expensive all. Why don't we have complete and configurable key commands that we can use instead of giving up 30% of our screen space to toolbars?

  8. I have tried multiple times to uncheck the "show comments pane when a PDF with comments is opened" box and clicking "OK". When I reopen my preferences, the box is checked again. I don't want that pane automatically opening. I have tried closing out of Adobe completely afterwards and even restarting my PC. What am I missing?

  14. Wenn ich geschäftliche mehrer Seiten öffnen muss, um diese miteinander vergleichen zu können, werden mir in der Titelleiste nicht alle Dateien angezeigt. In dem neuen Design sogar noch wenigere als in der alten. Im neuen Design sind jetzt rechts die Pfeile und "Erstellen", sowie drei Punkte noch hinzugekommen. Ich sehe gerade mal 3 Dateien von 6 und muss ständig mit der Maus auf den Pfeilen von Dokument zu Dokument springen, damit ich alle Dokumente miteineinander vergleichen kann. Das ist absolut unterirdisch und mühsam. Nicht Benutzerfreundlich!

  15. For month's I've been getting a small popup error EVERYTIME I open a pdf. I've followed the instructions provided but NOTHING ever fixed it. I don't know what the **** is going on at Adobe but I would have preferred they fixed errors FIRST.

    Today I opened Acrobat and nothing looks the same. Some tools are in color, some are greyed out, No notice given and no list of the changes.

    Is AI running the company now? If I had stock in Adobe I'd be giving it away right now. This market is prime for competition and I hope it…

  17. As if it wasn't already rally annoying constantly having the AI pop up popping up, but the pop up today could not be closed, agreed or cancelled. The only way I could get rid of it was to force a shut down of my PC which meant I lost my place in the 5 open documents, each of between 1000 and 3000 pages.

  19. Previously, delete/strikethrough was shown as red, replace was shown as blue, highlight as yellow, etc.

    Now suddenly they are all the same red color so it becomes very hard to tell them apart.

    (In the attached screenshot you can see comment, highlight, replace, and strikethrough/delete are all the same color).

    This was likely a mistake/bug introduced in a recent update. It started happening in both Acrobat Pro and Reader, and makes commenting a lot more confusing.
    We are currently on version 2024.003.20054 (of both Reader and Pro).

    A workaround is to manually have the user change the color before adding…

  20. Please remove the [+create] button from the top ribbon where the tabs are. It's highly annoying. Can it be placed somewhere else? I accidently hit it quite often when I am just trying to move the window, or close a tab.
