1. Share and edit a PDF for online review

   I love the idea that we are able to share PDFs online and allow invited users to comment on the PDF. But why in God's name would you not allow the PDF to be modified and the edits viewable without deleting and then having to reshape the document. Backwards thinking Adobe.
   • Allow moderator or selected individuals to collaborate and share the PDF for online review
   • Allow moderator to make edits and save back to cloud so viewers can view changes without having to delete the file, unsure the file and then resubmit sharing to those same people

2. BUG: Edit PDF feature in Acrobat v23 is very difficult to use now

   I don't mind the new interface, but there are so many bugs in the latest Acrobat update that I'm not able to use the Edit PDF tool outside of very simple tasks. Here's some of the things I'm not able to do now,

   • I'm not able to select multiple objects, text boxes, etc. with the Shift key
   • I'm not able to select multiple items by dragging the mouse over several objects, text boxes, etc.
   • When I try to add text on top of an existing text box (like a line on a form), the new text box is now added inside of the existing one and then everything in the existing text box is moved around. So I have to create the new text box in a blank space and then move it. And then later after the new text box is moved over the existing text box, Acrobat seems to not understand what I've done and there will be missing letters or duplicate letters from that new text box.

   As I mentioned, there are other issues. These are just some of the more recent bugs I've seen. It's forcing me to completely recreate the document in word or excel and then make it into a new PDF. Please make updates to get back to the functionality from the previous Edit PDF version.

3. I have a problem with signature

   After I drag the signature position the document is covered with dark transparent screen with small square dot in the middle then freezes till I press scape button.
   Need your help ASAP

4. Changing zoom factor makes invisible layer visible

   I see a strange behavior of Acrobat Reader/DC Pro here.

   I use a JavaScript button to toggle the visibility of a (comments) layer in diverse documents. In some, but not all documents, there is the phenomenon that once I set the visibility of the comments layer to invisible using this JavaScript button, and then change the zoom factor of the PDF document, the invisible layer turns visible again.

   The hidden layer even becomes visible if the document is only scrolled.

   See the attached sample document that shows this phenomenon.

   It is even stranger that this problem disappears once the visibility of the comments layer is changed one single time using the Layers Pane and the eye symbol. The issue then completely disappears, but only until the document is closed and reopened.

   It also does not happen with all documents that have a comments layer and a layer visibility toggle JavaScript button, only with some documents.

   I locked the document with Acrobat password and did not provide the document for printing or modification. The https://www.ilovepdf.com website provided the password cracking function to the public, which violated my document protection.

   My colleague took the file I password-protected with Acrobat and went to Unlock PDF on the https://www.ilovepdf.com website, and got a file that was completely unprotected by password and can be edited at will. Moreover, this website provides Unlock PDF to any user without any charge. I am very angry. I paid for the password protection feature in Creative Cloud and the website https://www.ilovepdf.com was compromised.

6. window will not open after clicking icon if app is already open

   (mac) Before some recent update (same one that lost the scroll bars... still missing btw...), if you closed the all acrobat windows/tabs, the app would still run, and to open the main window again you'd click on the icon.
   Now, clicking on the icon does nothing. You have to either go into the menu with the application active and choose something that is likely to bring up a window, or open a document, or quit the app and open it again. None of those options are very good.

7. Adding rows in Acrobat PRO DC is not available

   Please add the feature to Acrobat PRO DC that can add/delete rows to a table—having dynamic form in Acrobat Reader especially when converting from Word format into PDF.

8. PDF recovery tool

   Build and make available a PDF recovery tool for your paying licensed users. From time to time a PDF will corrupt and will not open. Often a ton of work has gone into assembling/noting/creating that file. There are options on the web that are "pay for recovery". However, I do not want to put sensitive corporate data into some site on the web to "try" and recover it. Nor am I interested in purchasing a recovery software from an unknown vendor that again "may" recover the file. I don't know what else that app is doing with the data in my file.

   It would be preferable to have a built in tool within Adobe Acrobat Pro (maybe others) that would allow us to recover from the safety of our infrastructure and know our data is staying put. Plus it's the right thing to do and would make your user base very grateful.

9. Absolutely horrendous performance while zooming / scrolling

   Less idea than general feedback below.

   I've found adobe acrobat to be a fantastic pdf editor, however, on nearly every occasion i use it I notice there is a considerable performance issue when scrolling through documents.

   Vertical scrolling is usually fine, although sluggish, however scrolling side to side nearly always results in there being so much lag, by the time i finish scrolling on the mouse there is about a minute of slow page movement.

   This is exasperated when zoomed in where it becomes almost unusable to navigate around a document.

   I'm using a very powerful gaming laptop, and many of my colloueges on other computers have the same issue, so it isn't a hardware issue.

   Please fix.

10. More useless changes

    Adobe is clearly run by children. No adult would ever approve the pointless changes that Adobe consistently forces on us. Now instead of toolbars that help us we have annoying floating toolbars that can not be docked. WTF? Sure just randomly switch where the table of contents and tools are, no one uses them anyway because that are terrible tools. I wish i never learned any Adobe programs so i would not be fooled into trying to learn these useless new configurations. I want my money back and all the money i wasted learning a program with no evolution or consistency.

11. Printing highlighted text in a document with the highlight on the hard copy

    See how you search and find words in a document using Adobe Acrobat and they are highlighted in ink for you to see there position... Now I want to print my document with those words still highlighted in ink on my hardcopy.... Tell me how..

14. Trouble with the "improvements"

    Since the new acrobat update, I can barely edit my pdf's without the screen refreshing over and over. It is not tolerable to use because it takes too long to add text. What is going on? Do I need to find a new product? Can you fix this? Do I need to change a setting?

15. Adobe Acrobat Pro is terrible

    The most recent update to Adobe Acrobat Pro is awful. The worst. You can't barely update and fill in PDFs. Creating text is impossible. And the program runs so slow it's not worth using. Please revert back to the former version that was actually useful. Or at least let me download a former version. This is just terrible.

16. Worst PDF editor

    This is the worst pdf editor I have ever set my hands on. The simple issue of crossing out parts of a page TO MAKE IT NOT TRANSPARENT takes way too much effort with this useless tool. Shame on you for charging money for this.

18. Edit PDF features are not keyboard accessible.

    Although the buttons to add elements such as text and images are accessible, and existing elements when focused with the mouse can be changed, there is no way to focus any elements or add new elements without the mouse.

19. Form Fields

    Acrobat take so long to delete form fields when multiple fields are selected. It depends on how many form fields are selected across opened Documents. In other words, if you have an opened document with 2 or 3 form fields selected while you are deleting form fields on a different one (another one), it will take 5 to 10 seconds to delete desired form fields (as invoked and desired by user to delete form fields on a document). On a different scenario if an open Document has 40 Form Fields selected while deleting Form Fields on a different opened document (another one), it will take around a minute or more to delete desired fields on current/active document.

    The more form fields are selected across open documents, the more it will take to delete form fields on a document.

    As more form fields are selected across opened documents, more time it will take to deleted form fields on a "working document" (working document = document you are processing to deleted Form Fields). It has been necessary for me to make sure of not having many form fields selected across opened documents when going to delete form fields on a document to avoid spend a lot of time on the delete form fields process.

    It is something with Acrobat and it is not something with Acrobat installation because it has happened (exactly happened) to me on different Computers and now on a Workstation Laptop one. It happens with the New Acrobat Interface and on the previous Acrobat Interface which is the one I'm currently using.

20. need field within application to mention embedd internal KB articles URLS on the Acrobat application

    We have some organization specific KB articles, and processes regarding application installation, Access, etc. We want users to be aware about these steps and refer to them in case of any issues. As of now they don’t have any references within application and each time they need to contact technical support team.

    Requirement : Add Field In application where we can mention internal Link (Could be a SharePoint link).We want option to Internal link ( could be a SharePoint link) where we have information related to application access and other Internal KB articles are mentioned.

    We have not yet prepared this site as we are checking possibilities, hence we don’t have link to share now.

    Please let me know if any further information is required.
