  1. An option to delete the original file after splitting it into individual files would save time. Every time I split a PDF, I then have to go and delete the original file. On top of that, if I have split a PDF using 'top level bookmarks' Acrobat asks me if I want to save the file when closing it. So there are 2 steps that could be avoided by setting one option 'delete original file after splitting'.

  2. Each and every time I split a PDF, I must manually set the folder I want the files to save to. I should be able to set the folder path one time and Acrobat will default to that same folder next time I split a PDF. This goes for all the settings whenever splitting a PDF. It would save me time if Acrobat remembered what options I used last when splitting a file. For instance, if I split a file and used the "Use top level bookmarks" option, the next time I go to split a PDF I shouldn't have…

  3. This is a bug report, no a feature request or idea. Asking people to clear cookies & cache is a productivity nightmare. I don't even know if that will work. For whatever reason, Adobe logs me out and won't allow me to log back in. It says my subscription has expired when it hasn't; verified in a support chat. I can do so for the Adobe website, but not the interface that opens PDF's nor the cloud for Adobe. Clearing cache & cookies causes me to have to log back into too many websites I do business with or pleasure…

  7. I have been using Fill & Sign to annotate and mark academic assessment tasks. I noticed that when you click on "Ab" to enter a comment, it remembers previous comments you have entered, which can be very time-saving when you have lots of similar tasks to mark. Here's my question:
Using this "Ab" commenting tool, can you build up different comment banks over time for different applications, can you upload, download, edit such comment banks, and if so what format of file would you need to use? For example, being able to have a simple text file with comments for…

  8. Adobe will not print on my HP Designjet T520 as is says the printer is offline. Drivers and Adobe are up to date. Foxit PDF reader has no issues printing my files but lacks some things i like about adobe. I think there is an issue with your software to not recognize a printer. I would not be saying this if Foxit or other PDF readers had an issue printing on this printer but adobe is the only one who will not see the printer is online.

  10. I am the author of an Adobe Sign document. Now that the document has been fully signed, I am trying to combine it with an instructional guide (it was a test document) for users at my agency, but it is asking me for a password. I did not set password for the document. I have tried using my Adobe account password, but that isn't working. Why is Adobe arbitrarily requiring a password that I (as the document creator) didn't set? How do I even find out what the password even is?

  11. This is my process under Windows 10, Acrobat acrobat DC 2015.00630527
Open any file (a bit silly, but you need that to access the Search Text command dialogue box - without a document the 'Find text' from the Redact toolbar is not greyed out, but nothing happens when you select it. Which in itself is a kind of bug).
Tools > Redact > From Redact toolbar select 'Find text'. A dialogue box opens. Select the folder with 200+ files. Enter the search string, make sure it is a search string that will find a hit in +200 files. Or maybe…

  13. When installing a package created for Apple Silicon macs, the installer will fail unless Rosetta is already installed. Rosetta is only required when you are attempting to run an x86 application on Apple Silicon, so this feels like a bug. The installer fails with no indication of what the problem is and the logs do not help. I stumbled upon the fix by accident. It should be noted that Rosetta is not installed by default on M1 Macs and is only invoked when you attempt to run an "Intel" application. The installer is for Apple Silicon, so it does not…

  14. Allow more customization of toolbar, e.g. remove the "provide Feedback" button, as well as "Notifications" and "Profile Settings". This is not what one uses every day and can go e.g. under the Help menu.

  15. I came in with a notification to log into Adobe Creative Suite for profile setup. After running the the dialog box to set up the profile, I lost all comments on shared Acrobat files. That is over 5 hours of review comments lost. Is there a way to retrieve those comments? I have no interest in reviewing a 90 page document again.

    Dear Customer,

Thanks for reaching out to us. We are looking into the issue reported by you and will try our best to resolve it. Meanwhile could you please give us the below info and let us know.

    1. This issue happens to you for one specific file or on everyone.
    2. Could you please try opening the shared file from Web(Browser) and let us know if comments are visible or not.
    3. Also please share error if you got any.

  16. When you manually check something like navigation links and click pass manually in the accessibility checker, it reverts back to needs manual check when you reopen the saved pdf. What is the point of allowing a manual check if you can't make it stick in the checker report?

  17. Adobe Scan can automatically crop, resize, and reduce distortion on images, producing decent quality PDFs. To do this it uses Adobe Sensei, a form of AI. Given there is currently no way to automate these steps on Acrobat or Photoshop, and so no way to automate these steps on a desktop at all, please could you create a feature to achieve Adobe Scan level automation within Acrobat.

  18. I have a corporate profile on Adobe but, even though on the site I am signed in with the corporate e-mail, on the pdf files I am signed in with my personal e-mail that does not have any rights.. not leaving me read any files. Any clues how I could fix this?

  19. When I enter a Polish character (for example Ł), the font changes, letters get displaced and the text is unreadable. When I close and reopen the file, the text changes to a random string.

  20. It would be nice to be able to change the file name using without leaving the full screen mode in adobe. Also a "recent documents" dropdown module or menu near the top right that shows a list of the most recently accessed documents.
