Hide Floating Toolbar
I would like the option to close or hide the floating toolbar (see attached picture). It's not always needed, and it's frustrating to have it hanging around and having to move it around to keep it out of the way. If I could close it or move it to the menu bar, that would be ideal. But right now it only allows movement within the document window.

Have "Open" always visible and obvious
Since most common thing people do in this program is to Open files, that "Open" command should be always easy to get to, instead it's hidden within Menu you have to click to get to it

Adobe Acrobat Closes shortly after opening
I ran into an issue where shortly after opening Adobe Acrobat the program would close with no indication of what was causing it to close. When trying to run Acrobat as Administrator I was shown a "adobelicensingwf_acro.exe" error (See Attached image).
After trying to open the program a few more times I noticed that Acrobat would close about the same time as the profile picture would change from the default account to my account picture (See Attached image). 'Enter' to save to recent folder instead of defaulting to documents
In the previous version of Adobe, after hitting 'Ctrl-S' to save, you could then hit 'Enter' on the popup window to then open the most recent folder you have been saving to, now, unless you click the folder with your cursor, 'Enter' defaults to opening Documents as your save destination.

Music Font/Staff Recognition/Scanning Acrobat OCR
- The Ability To Scan & Recognize Sheet Music (Fonts, Dynamics, Staff, etc.)
- Example: Avid's Neuratron Photoscore or Finale's ScanScore 3 Professional. However, Their OCR Recognition is Terrible, always with numerous mistakes.
- Adobe Acrobat will attempt to Scan/Recognize, but replace the Music Fonts with System Fonts, Recognize the Staff as Underline, etc., and Ruin the Music Score. I have experienced this while editing/creating Music Books with Sheet Music Professionaly.

Upgrade System Interface/Page Numbering Too Complicated and Most Other Functions as well
Return to the previous version's interface. Reduce the additional steps added in new version and eliminate the over-complification of simple procedures. I just spent an hour trying to number my pages. I found the functions only after looking up on Google and searching for 20 minutes. But the windows themselves were absolutely NOT intuitive. I had to contact an agent. The first agent I got disconnected from. Stop taking up document real-estate with menus!
All menus should stay at the TOP out of the way, not all over the sides eating up my document real-estate. And now there's a FLOATING MENU RIGHT ON TOP OF MY DOCUMENT that I cannot get rid of. A moderator commented - Choose Help/Check for Updates, and update your acrobat and that floating menu will be docked again. But it says NO UPDATE AVAILABLE.
PLEASE leave the user interface CONFIGURABLE so we can set it up the way we need.I long for the old days when the Acrobat interface was open and simple... instead of trying to cram…

Retain settings during update
All of my personal settings in my user interface did not transfer during this update. I come to work this morning and have to re-learn how to find the tools that I use every day. Simple navigation is a major task. This completely wiped out my morning's productivity, which is EXTREMELY FRUSTERATING. Please please please dont do this to your users without our concent. [BUG] Unresponsive UI, slow PDF loading - MakeAccessible plugin
Reade DC 2003.006.20360
MakeAccessible.api plugin causes unresponsive UI and extremely slow loading times. How serious it is depends on the complexity of the loaded PDF. It is expecially egregious for CAD plots with layers and geospacial infromation. For such files, the program is completely unresponsive for several dozen of seconds and with more complex files even for several minutes. After disabling the plugin, files that took several minutes to open now open instantly.

The new Adobe Acrobat DC
Why does the new layout differ so much from the old one. The best thing is the switch button to the old version. Better would be a structure by toolbar, menu and panels like in Photoshop.

Je n'aime pas du tout la nouvelle version d'Adobe Acrobat et plus précisément la disposition de la barre d'outils et des panneaux latéraux. Faire des nouvelles versions d'amélioration c'est bien mais ce qui est encore mieux c'est de pouvoir offrir le choix au client de mettre ces éléments où il veut dans un souci de confort de travail. Chaque personne est différente, on n'a pas la même façon de travailler, ce que vous pensez être bien ne correspondra pas forcément à tout le monde ! The split option in the "Organizes Pages" is HORRIBLE!!!
This new STUPID version of Adobe and the split option is horrible! I put all the correct information in, i.e., split the documents by top-level bookmarks, use the names for files, and put the documents in the folder I chose on my computer. It takes AT LEAST 3 times before it splits the PDF splits correctly. This is EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING!!!

All docs open in tabs - STOP IT!
How can I escape the default of all docs opening in tabs within one window? That does not suit my drafting needs AT ALL. I need them to open in separate windows & I can't figure out how to set that up. HELP.

After the new update my Adobe Acrobat is extremely slow and lagging sometimes to the point of the program crashing, , bring back old design!
After the new update my Adobe Acrobat is extremely slow and lagging sometimes to the point of the program crashing, , bring back the old design! The new one is not more convenient the extra features are cumbersome and in the way. I pay for Adobe Acrobat for a stream lined pdf viewing experience not to wait 3 minutes when I load up a pdf for all my comments to crash the software.

markups not working
It appears to be a bug, but several markups types are not working. They get copied across pages, even when the markup was not set up on that page. Existing markups disappear. If you edit a text block, the whole things disappears while in progress.

Bring text to front
At the moment, I'm trying to mark an X in a box on a form. But, the letter keeps being hidden behind the box. I am trying to bring the letter to the front. Or send the images to the back. But, it's not working. And, in Googling for a solution, I have found complaints on this very topic dating back to at least 2010 (and continuing year after year after year...!) To be clear, if I play around with this particular form, I can find a work around. And I'm guessing I'll find a work around next time, too.…

Highlighting stops working
After typing in a PDF, the highlight feature, which pops up automatically when one selects text, stops working. One must select 'edit' and then 'document' to turn it back on. This is wasted effort and time when one does a lot of highlighting - quite common when reading scientific papers
