  1. Why don't I have the ability to fully edit documents? I have no way of adding any drawing objects like lines, circles, boxes, etc. I am paying $15.89 per month, It seems like I would be able to fully edit a document with a group of basic tools ($15.89 x 12 = $190.68 per year)

  5. I would like among the buttons a simple button that would invert text contrast from black letters under white background to white letters under black background.... This is an option that exists under preferences but there are several cliks until you get through. I would like that users could change contrasts with ony one click. i will explain more in a word file I wil upload....

  6. The included reports to signed documents are in Letter size. Half the world is using ISO A4 format instead, please make the option to select the A4. When the report is attached to A4 documents, printers crop or deform it, when printed.

  7. Classic Version of Acrobat Pro DC able to unsynchronise, split of old and new file in separate monitor screens and also able to edit/delete/add comments in "Compare report". New version of Acrobat DC unable to do all three. Have approached Adobe expert and Expert confirmed all three does not exist in new version.

  8. Adobe Sign has a standard description of a document sent for signature as "Agreement". "Open Agreement", etc. Not all documents being sent via Adobe Sign are legal agreements. This makes the process a bit unprofessional to those sending other documents, such as a CPA sending a tax return for signature. (recipient says: "It's called a tax return, right?"). The description of the document should be simply "Document" or something applicable to any industry.

  9. When sending a sharable pdf document to several people so they can edit it we need to have access to all editing tools. Currently, when you open a regular pdf, there are 13 editing tools available. When you open the cloud-based sharable document, there are only 5 tools. We used to be able to have a shareable pdf AND access to all tools but no longer.

  10. For example, Acrobat can neither copy/paste nor search for any of the following characters:

    Ψ (psi), Φ (phi), † (dagger)

    For example in this document (also attached to this post for convenience): https://arxiv.org/pdf/2102.12560.pdf?download

    I'm guessing it's all Unicode characters? But I haven't tested that thoroughly enough to know if that's precisely right. Regardless, this issue arises daily for me (mostly because of the Greek letters).

    I only tested 3 other PDF readers, but none of them have this limitation: macOS's Preview.app, Chrome's PDF viewer, Safari's PDF viewer

    It would help me a ton if Acrobat let us copy/paste and search…

  11. The modal which used to allow me to add signatures or initials has disappeared. The screen goes gray (the color of the modal background) but there is only one pixel where the modal should be.

  12. Since the update to Big Sur, the interactive elements no longer work in existing PDFs. It worked and still works on the previous mac system. Pages with interactive elements keep reloading. Rollovers are not visible, etc. I have exhausted all possibilities with adobe support. This needs to be fixed urgently!

  13. When we create a Fill & Sign template it needs to be accessible from the desktop app and not REQUIRE us to go online to reuse that form.

  15. Every time I send a document to sign. It always ask the client to review and sign. But that langue is extremely aggressive and literal losses me clients all the time. Because no one wants to push a button that says sign before even reading what's in the document.

    Can you just change it to review.

    Getting people to read a document is hard enough, I don't need a program giving them a built in excuse not to open it

  16. After a recent update documents that our firm sends for signing are now editable by the recipient when signed via a browser add-in.

    If the document is downloaded and signed within the desktop app it is not editable (only the signature panel is available).

    Furthermore, if edits are made and then the document signed we are not notified of changes on the summary page.

    I hope an update will be posted soon.

  17. I want the framed box back. I put all kinds of status notes on PDFs and with the true Text-Box I could see them when browsing in Explorer.

    Hidden comments or hidden sticky notes are useless for this purpose.

  18. Until two weeks ago, I had the ability to merge non-pdf files into a pdf. That is no longer the case. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring this back. Having to convert each document into pdf before merging docs is a PAIN IN THE -SS

  20. Hello,

    The following issue appears to be Mac specific. This is not an issue on Windows machines, as all of my testing on multiple machines suggest it's only on Mac's.

    The short story:

    On Mac's only, changing a text field format in Acrobat Pro DC (ex - changing to a date field) causes the field highlighting to no longer work on those fields that have been adjusted, and are fields that are shown/hidden based on checking/unchecking a check box.
