  1. Is there a way to shut off the file recovery feature? I close out of files using the red box in the upper corner of the program. It keeps asking me if I want to recover the files because the program closed unexpectedly. The blue flag popping up all the time is distracting.

  2. In my department, we began putting electronic signatures on documents showing they are approved. We'd like to see a feature where we can add additional documents after the signature is applied BUT after or in a separate section so as to not interfere with the original documents. We get confirmations after the original signature from outside agencies that we cannot add during original review.

  4. I keep having trouble when using Adobe. I am a long time customer though I am not using it a lot and got issues each time I am using it. This time something that should be done in 2 clicks is to delete a couple of pages from a doc. I can select them but the delete function doesn't work or I got a pop-in message saying that I am not permitted!!!!

  5. The govt is taking advantage of your batch save->other-> reduced file size so they do not need the pro version tool kit for developers. It currently stands at 50. they have teams of people manually processing 15,000 files per month to avoid the cost of the pro version. reducing this to 10-15 would make it economically unfeasible to continue with the sweat shop approach and they would be forced to buy the pro version tool kit and save the tax payers lots of money in the process.

  7. I have been fighting this for a few hours, but narrowed the issue down to an issue with Adobe Acrobat DC 19.012.20035.

    The issue is when I print to my K8600 (issue does not happen with my 8.5x11 printer).

    about 1/2 of the first page prints then I am no longer able to print in any application on the computer. I narrowed this down to Whenever I print from acrobat to this printer in A3 sized paper the Spooler service goes into stopped state. If I restart the service is prints another 1" of the file then crashes again.

  10. Allow me to set a preference in order to reduce the number of steps required to redact information -
    1) Set preference to redact "text and images" instead of having to click on that choice for every page.
    2) Set preference to save redacted files to a specific folder (or automatically save to last used) instead of having to click to select it over and over and over.
    WAY too many steps to take to redact and save multiple images. And you have to move from one area of the screen to another to another... a lot of wasted time…

  11. Remove red borders and blue shade after a manditory field is filled in.

    Right now when you have a required field and you select the fact that they are highlighted. You can't unhighlight them witouth them unhighlighted before you even fill in the document.

  12. I downloaded purchased PDF files from Teachers Pay Teachers. Adobe Acrobat opens them. I can view them just fine. When I print, however, the job is processed, a printer icon appears showing 1 job is being created, and then the icon disappears. It doesn't appear to get to the printer at all.
    I can print with the text editor just fine.
    I am using a MacBook Air with MacOS Mojave 10.14.1 operating system. I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC (first time I looked, was using 2017 version, now says continuous version????)

  13. A shortcut – ideally a keyboard shortcut – for 'Add Note to Text' would be very helpful for the editors and proofreaders among us. To select the text, right-click and find 'Add Note to Text' is cumbersome when you're using that particular feature more than any other (the Sticky Note is much maligned by designers and reviewers alike for not being specific enough to the text to which it relates).

    It would also make lots more sense in the context of the comment-as-you-type functionality for inserting or deleting text, etc. Surely it would be logical to create an equivalent keyboard-centred…

  14. I would like to remove the Trash Icon that comes up every time i select an edit on PDFs. This gets in the way of my edits and i accidentally end up deleting things. This must have been on the most recent update because i never use to have this.

  15. I have upgraded to 2017 (2017.011.30138)

    I have created a form, adding my fields one at a time and changing the Name and ToolTip for each field.

    When I run an accessibility check I get a Tagged form field - Failed error for every single field.

    When I run Identify Form Fields nothing happens except the Identify Form fields and Autotag Form Fields options grey.

    I went back to Prepare Form Tools and double checked the fields. They all have unique field names, and all have unique tool tips.

    I tried to look at the field via the Reading Order…

  16. If you use quotes (“) anywhere in the message body, Adobe Sign will fail at 60% with this error when you click on the “Specify Where To Sign” button or “More Options” link.

    It had no problem with the ($) and the (/) characters.

  17. Add the following:
    1. The time in addition to date stamp by the signature
    2. The name of program should be on each page as a header or footer, not only on the document history page.

    The state of Georgia now has their own background check form and requires these features in order for the form to be electronically signed.

  18. I want you to be able to change the unit to meter in the measuring tool. When measuring in drawings that have a scale of 1:400 or greater, you do not want the dimensions in mm or cm.

  19. I just noticed this bug. Every month I combine several PDFs to send to my accountant:

    1. My bank statement
    2. At least one check image that's a deposit
    3. At least one check image that a payment.

    Each check image has above it data pulled from the check Date of deposit, amount, check number.

    No matter what I do or how I do it when I add in the second check the data mentioned just above is replaced with the data from the first check. So I have two images of check but all the info is wrong on the second check…

  20. Adobe Sign asked me to login. I couldn't remember my password so I changed it. Now I cannot send documents to anyone to sign. I get a message that I have logged out and must log back in. When I press the "Sign In" button, the page hangs/loops and nothing happens. I've logged out of everything, restarted the app. Reset the password in creative cloud after logging out completely. Nothing works.
