  1. Bug: MS Visual C++ Runtime Error when launching Adobe Acrobat DC

    OS: Windows 7 Enterprise ServicePack 1
    Acrobat version: Adobe Acrobat Standard DC 2015 release (Classic) | Version 2015.006.30457
    Issue Description:
    When launching Adobe Acrobat DC, it will pop-up an error right away as the attachment.
    Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
    Runtme Error!
    Program: C:....
    R6030 - CRT not initialized

    Troubleshooting:
    I found the error is caused by Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable 12.0.40660.0 x64
    When it's installed, it will overwrite msvcp120.dll & msvcr120.dll under c:\windows\syswow64

    Workaround:
    overwrite msvcp120.dll & msvcr120.dll under c:\windows\syswow64
    with Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable 12.00.21005.1 x64

  2. Unable to get or publish comments to Adobe Shared Review PDF on SharePoint 365

    Unable to get or publish comments to Adobe Shared Review PDF on SharePoint 365 with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.

    Details:
    I'm using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2019.010.20064

    When I open Shared Review PDFs hosted on SharePoint 365 I see the message:

    • Could not get new comments. Adobe Acrobat did not get a response from the server.

    • Adobe Acrobat cannot connect to the Review Server: 13.107.136.9

    This appears to be the same error and message other users are reporting since October 2018 when setting up new Shared Review PDFs using SharePoint & Adobe Acrobat DC. Any updates on this would be…

  3. Reading Order Tool and Highlighting Content is Inaccessible to Screen Reader Users

    Bug: The Reading Order Tool, and / or Highlighting content in a PDF document for tagging is inaccessible.
    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Using Acrobat Pro DC 2019 under Windows 7 / 8 / 10, open an untagged PDF for which you do not have the source file.
    2. Preferably, launch a screen reader such as NVDA (http://www.nvaccess.org) or JAWS 2019 (www.freedomscientific.com)
    3. Attempt to begin tagging portions of the document. For most people, this is done using the reading order tool found in the accessibility tools.

  4. BUG: Your text box text formating tool covers up document. Please move it OUT OF THE WINDOW. You keep reducing Acrobat's functionality.

    Please stop floating menus over document content. This covers up important information. Your most recent flop: When adding a text box, the font menu covers up the same box and one cannot edit it. Stop this nonsense. Acrobat keeps deteriorating with each "upgrade" since 2005. If you attend a entry level web programming class at a good university, you can learn how to design efficient user interfaces. Tell that your incopmetent manager.

  5. Auto Tag a Single Page

    Acrobat's new Autotag utility re-tags the entire document.

    Sometimes most of the PDF is fine and I just need to correct one page or a portion of content that I've selected.

    But we can't do that: right now, it's all or nothing.

    Give us the option to autotag the entire document, a single page, or the content we have selected with our cursor. Keep the other tags that are already in the PDF.

  6. Keyboard Shortcut for "Find Tag"

    Need a keyboard shortcut when working in the Tags Panel to Find Tag From Selection.

    This utility is used a bazillion times a day by those who must make accessible PDFs.

  8. Using "Compare Page Range" and input "New File Dialog" crash.

    1. Open Acrobat Pro DC
    2. Open File A.pdf and B/pdf
    3. Select "Compare Files"
    4. Open "Select Files to Compare", and push Settings button
    5. Open Setting dialog, input New File combo box
    6. Freeze Acrobat

    This problems on Windows 10 and Acrobat Pro (2017.011.30113 and 2019.010.20069).

  10. ACROBAT DOES NOT WORK WITH MOJAVE.....END OF STORY

    Acrobat does not work with Mojave...and I do not think it ever will. Adobe need to refund a portion of the subscription and stop blowing smoke....

    Adobe Acrobat 11.x or other older versions Out Of Memory and insufficient data for an image issue

    Hi, All,

    Our company have adobe acrobat 9 and XI softwares which are installed on different PC (windows 7 and windows 10) some users report to me they have received popup windows error message "Out Of Memory and insufficient data for an image from their windows 10 pc
    Any solution to fix the issue?

  12. Scanning with scanner interface needs one click

    If Acrobat is to replace PDF generating software, scanning with the native scanner interface needs to be one click - it now is at least 3 clicks - adding this to the customizable menus previously requested would be great.

  13. Dialog Boxes Too Big for Screen

    The crop dialog boxes are insanely large and unscrollable -- I can't click on "Apply" unless I move the dialog to another screen, and on that screen I can only see a small part of the window.

  14. Free-hand Pen Tool

    A free-hand pen tool would be in Adobe's best interest. This tool would allow users to mark a PDF with a digital pen of sorts.

    Other document editors that are inferior in many other ways have been winning out with both myself and many other consumers because of the free-hand drawing & annotating capablities.

    Add selection tool for selecting all comments on each page in bulk. In addition, add the rotate comment tools by selecting all comments.

    This is required while shifting comments from Old PDF document to New PDF document with major change in sheets/ orientation etc.

    Bug report - Text highlighting-Acrobat DC - when sending to iPad or iPhone-highlight is solid not transparent when receiver opens the file. I use Acrobat DC Version 19.010.20069 and this is a recent issue as I have been highlighting and sending pdfs to people with iPads/iPhones for years. Not sure if this is something new with my Acrobat or something new with an Apple update.     Mohave 10.14.3 and Acrobat DC fillable document saving problem-
    If I get a fillable form from IRS or other government site that needs to be filled in, I can save it to my computer one time. But if I reopen the document to add other information to a fillable area, I cannot save the document a second time. I get an error message saying the file contains "a number that is out of range".     Thank you for reporting the issue.

    Please check that the form is not being opened in Apple Preview, it happens to get corrupted. Try downloading again from IRS website and instead use Adobe Acrobat/Adobe Reader.

    2 the version of Acrobat installed on your machine for us to investigate furthur.

    Need a cell library or "my tool" section for special shapes used over and over in multiple documents. Often I comment on engineering plans and have to create special shapes and text boxes which are used repeatedly. It be nice to save them somewhere to make life easier.

  20. Digital signatures are a pain in Acrobat DC!

    I digitally sign a lot of invoices. I'm not filling in a field, just creating a box that fills with my digital signature. It used to take me a couple of clicks in the old version. Now I have to do Tools, certificates, select the signature, click on a box and a button... And then the next time I open a PDF I have to go through the whole thing again, because the tool bar config is not saved. This is a huge waste of time and I'm VERY dissatisfied with this release.
