  1. it would be beneficial for some users, myself included, to be able to change the colour of the document's pages we are reading from the default white to whatever background colour works best for our vision. For example, when I'm working in MS Word, I'll often change the page colour to various shades of blue as it helps me to see / read the test easier. If this feature could be added to this product, that would reduce the strain on my eyes when reading many documents using this software.

  3. I would like to provide feedback and request that the speed in processing e-signature be improved.

    I find the time it takes to process an e-signature from entering in the recipient email to dropping in the signature block for sending is quite slow.

    We use Acrobat DC e-signing a lot and this would improve the time it takes to process these.

  4. Acrobat Pro, Windows:

    1) The "Record Audio" Comment option doesn't work well: a really loud background noise is always present, and I have to massively strain my voice to beat it. (If I forget to strain it, the recording has a fade-in effect where the recorded sound is inaudible at first, but then gets better a few seconds in.)
    This is not a hardware issue - tried different laptops & different microphones (internal and external). Searching the forum, I found that this issue has existed for more than a decade (https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/is-there-a-way-to-fix-the-static-noise-problem-in-record-audio-comments-in-acrobat/m-p/14383077#M448422), please fix it.

  5. When creating an Adobe Sign Agreement (or Template or Web Form) by importing a PDF document originally created by Acrobat, any fillable fields that are specified to center the entered data end up, instead, with the data fields right justified.

    This requires manually correcting the appearance of each field from right justified back to centered in order to correctly match the original document.

  6. Adobe Sign fails to implement checkbox properties from Acrobat forms.
    When creating an Adobe Sign webform or signature template by importing an Acrobat form with existing fillable fields, the following checkbox properties are
    are not correctly implemented:
    • During on-screen filling of form
    o Check boxes defined using "cross" option appear round, instead
    o Check box color is not displayed. All selections appear "blue" on-screen.
    • The final PDF output
    o Check box colors are wrong. The color of the first checkbox in any group is
    applied to all checkboxes, even those defined with different colors.

  8. PDFs fail to display as attachment to WhatsApp chats; fail to display on the website of at least one of my banks; fail to open from the Cloud due to 'being already logged in" in another session.
    Fail to display on my iPhone, using Acrobat Pro. Message states that I need 'Acrobat Reader', etc, etc.
    I have a CC full sub and this is extremely frustrating. The reason I was induced to purchase CC was to avoid this kind of issues.

  10. Along with others I am horrified at the tragic mess the UX (yes, user experience) has become. The UI design is following the unfortunate trend of "unify everything" into a web/mobile topology that has been infecting applications for a while now.

    I had a well-developed workflow in Acrobat Pro, that the new & obnoxious UI design, that you shoved down my CPU's throat, broke. More than that, the usability of the new atrocity is a step back.

  13. I went to preferences - accessibility and then changed the colours of the text and background (black to white and white to black). It worked in the acrobat app because the colours really did change as I wanted. but then when both saving and exporting the pdf, it still looks the same. I want to view my pdfs in preview, not acrobat. So if this option doesn't actually change the pdf itself but just views it differently in the app, then it is useless.

  14. How to go back to the much, much better original menu system. The new one is like a complete paradigm shift. If that is how it worked, I would have never subscribed since it is unusable. Horrible.

This has happened in some variety in previous iterations of Acrobat; I went into organize pages and after the first reorder (I dragged page 5 into position 2) 4 pages appeared from a document I had created yesterday. I did no functions to import any items to the current document. I only wanted to delete 2 pages (starting # 2 and 3) and move the last page to be page 2 instead of page 5. The pdf that was inserted into my document wasn't even open.

  16. After I work with a few dozen files in a day, Adobe simply stops opening. You click on a file or the app itself and the cursor flickers once and nothing happens. The only way to get it working again is to restart the computer. Very inconvenient when you are logged into multiple business programs and have to log out of everything and shut down/restart in the middle of the day. Have checked for updates - nothing.

  17. The latest feature upgrade removed the ability to send a signed copy of a document ("copy to"). Now the only options available are signer and approver. The receiving party is neither a signer or an approver, so this has doubled my workflow and created an inefficiency. I now have to generate a second email with the signed copy to send to my recipient, separate from the signature process. PLEASE add this feature back. What you have done is NOT an improvement.

Accessibility remediation of PDFs is chewing up an inordinate amount of labor, and at present, the steps required to yield accessible PDFs from InDesign are at a ridiculously unrefined, fussy, deep-in-the-weeds stage. This seems like an ideal application for AI. PLEASE create an AI tool that can handle all of the picky details of PDF remediation. I'd love to be presented with a simple set of questions to define things like reading order (in Acrobat and InDesign), then just have the AI handle giving me a PDF that passes muster and works well with assistive tech.   20. I use dual 32" monitors for CAD. In version 2023-008-20470 this results is 8" of dead space on each side of a 8-1/2" x 11" PDF . While I like the smaller icons of the latest release, it is infuriating that I cannot place the toolbar, navigation pane, and page controls (Pg#, zoom, magnification, etc.) across the top where they would be most efficient to access in my situation. Their fixed positions on the sides of the screen might be acceptable to laptop users, but it is very inefficient on large monitors.
