  1. I ordered a pen interface device for my PC (Huion 420), excited to be able to handwrite/draw notes on PDFs, in addition to typing notes on them. However, when I have the device plugged in, the free drawing tool stops working. I can click with the mouse or try to draw with the pen/pad device. Nothing shows up. The drawing tool does, however, work with my mouse when I unplug the device. This bug is one of the main features preventing me from using Adobe Acrobat as my primary note-taking software in medical school.

  2. after al long work with the fill&sign tool, didn't succeed to save the changes. I've received the message: "the operation failed because Adobe Acrobat encountered an unknown error"

  3. Steps to reproduce the issue:
    Open a large scanned PDF, use the highlighter for several times until the bug happens, which when I'm moving the highlighter across scanned texts Acrobat stop responding, and sometimes there's a large transparent window found by Spy++ on top of other windows.

    Environment (OS, other related application versions, etc.)
    Windows 10 Version 1709 Build 16299.309
    Adobe Acrobat Pro DC Continuous Release Version 2018.011.20038

    You can do the following steps to get the desired result.
    1) Open a pdf
    2) Right click and go to document properties.
    3) click on initial view tab
    4) Select desired values from the drop-down for ‘Page lyaout’ & ‘Navigation tab’.

  5. Bottom tool bar which appears over the document every time, it's always covering a page numbers, it's disappears so long and slow and no way to close it or make not appear at all... I never, just never, used this bar and any tool it provides. Wish I could set preferences to get rid of that annoying tool bar. Thank you.

  7. why do we pay for creative cloud and now can't edit a form to enter a simple date. when trying to edit a w9 form for instance, i am asked to use life cycle to do so and that requires an additional monthly subscriptions???????????????????? this is bad.

    You don’t need to edit the form to enter the date. Simply click on the field and start typing.

  8. It currently works fine to embed 1080P videos in an adobe document. They play smoothly and the sound and video track nicely. But could you make the same thing possible for 4K and 8K videos. At this time the video is lagging / choppy and the video freezes and all you can hear is the audio. Thank you.

    Did you mean flip or rotate?

    To rotate:
    Go to Organize Pages. Select the required pages. Click on one of the rotate icons on the above toolbar.
    OR
    Right click on the Left bar. Select Page Thumbnails. Now Right click on any page thumbnail and select Rotate Pages.

    To flip:
    Go to Edit PDF. Right click on the image that you want to flip and select Flip Horizontal or Flip Vertical.
    Note: You would need to uncheck the Recognize text checkbox (present in the right hand pane) when you open Edit PDF for the first time.

    Let us know if that helps.

  10. I would like to edit a table contained in the body of a pdf; however, it seems possible to only remove from the table. This would be a major time saver!

  11. Save as Other>Reduced Size PDF in DC - Adobe's prior versions of Acrobat reduced the file size much much more. DC Reduced Sized files are still too huge! It's not true they can't be reduced more in size because outside apps are able to do this without any difference in readability for basic use.

    I would request you to use the “Optimize Scanned Pages” feature of Optimize PDF application. Please follow the below steps :

    1. Open your PDF file and go to Optimize PDF application.
    2. Choose the “Optimize Scanned Pages” option. Press “OK” on the next dialog with default settings.

  13. Everytime you make an update you make it harder for me to find my edit document button. I just opened one and absolutely none of the icons or right click provides me with edit. Finally I find if I highlight text THEN hit right click I get the menu that allows me to edit. Why take down the one in the header and make me have to do additional steps (highlighting) to be able to edit. I hate when companies adopt the Microsoft culture of calling "improvements" just moving essential commands and options around and saying it's new. At least…

    Sorry for the trouble that you are facing here.
    you can easily use the edit app from the Right hand Panel Menu, Tools center and even on Searching for “edit” in the Tools search in RHP when any doc is launched.

  14. After an update of Acrobat DC has been installed on our computers:
    the PitStop Pro toolbars had disappeared and
    the PitStop Pro selection tool frequently becomes unresponsive

    Windows specifications: Windows 10 Pro / version 1709 / OS Build 16299.98
    Pitstop specifications: Enfocus Pitstop Pro 17 Build 786028
    Acrobat specifications: Adobe Acrobat Pro DC - version 2018.009.20050

  15. I am running Windows 10. Since the last Adobe Acrobat Pro update, the program has been absolutely awful. Opening a document is a minute long process much less doing anything else to it. I had to download another program to be able to view PDFs for work. Very frustrating. Been like this for at least a month.

  16. If I do a control F search for a word, get a hit in the middle of the document, say, but then want to conduct a search from the beginning, there is no way to do that. I can manually move up to the beginning, even click within the document at the beginning, but the next search will still be from where the last hit was. This is true in both pro and reader and is, to my mind, a bug/design flaw. One should be able to search from wherever one wants in a document, not just from where the…

  17. I'm using Adobe Acrobat CC 2018 on an iMac using macOS High Sierra version 10.13.2. When I edit or create a pdf file, the save or save as commands bring up a BLANK field instead of the traditional save or save as field. I can't save any files. The only way to get the edited file or binder is to email it to myself. Is this something I can fix or is it a bug on CC 2018?

  18. Although tagging Arabic content shows in Acrobat, however it doesn't display correctly in Tags panel, neither Content panel displays Arabic content properly, nor the Order panel.
    "Read Out Loud" feature pronounce each Arabic character independently which drives a listener mad, I'm afraid.

  20. I have users that are experiencing the above described issue. They open up a single PDF, or multiple PDFs, and if they are left open for 60 mins or longer, all pages in the PDFs go blank.

    Acrobat DC Pro (2015.006.30355), Windows 10, Microsoft Surface.
    We are expecting the PDF pages to be available the entire time the PDF is open.
    We've observed that it happens with multiple PDFs and requires the user to close all PDFs and reopen to resolve.
