  2. Image highlight (freehand) tool anywhere on page (including text)

    Image highlight (freehand) tool anywhere on page (including text)

    The image/freehand highlighter tool only appears when hovering the cursor over an image. However would be great to have the tool available over text or blank space on the pdf.

    Also the preview highlight thickness (before mouse button release) is not the same as the final highlight thickness (after mouse button release).

    For the text highlighter, it would be nice to be able to move the ends of the highlight by dragging (to highlight more or less text).

  3. Look up to www.dictionary.com doesn't work anymore

    a word look up ends up with '404 Not Found' using:
    https://www.dictionary.com/cgi-bin/dict.pl?term=<word>

    instead it should use:
    https://www.dictionary.com/browse/<word>?s=t

  4. PRO DC Does not perform OCR well if at all

    Pro DC is awful for performing OCR. It recognizes very little text, even with a clean scan. It also does not install native Windows fonts to add text to a document. XI did both of these things very well.

    This is a request for Adobe Digital Editions. Navigatng in the reader would be much easier if arrow keys were enabled OR if you could select between trackpad to select and trackpad to scroll.

  11. Bug with internal links when converting PDF from Word

    This is a bug. When using the acrobat extension in macOS microsoft Word to convert the doc to a PDF it removes internal links. It works fine for external links such as websites, but if I put a link in place that quickly takes you to another place in the document when clicked, this is removed when converting to a PDF. The text still appears blue but the link is not existent.

  13. Very slow pdf thumb display

    Hi,

    The last 64-bit version of Adobe Acrobat DC has introduced the possible display in Windows explorer of the file thumb. Great, BUT it is extraordinarily slow and in practice unusable (in particular in the Windows 10 welcome screen of the explorer, showing the recently opened files: it seems that the cache is rebuilt every new session).

    So, please make the appropriate changes in the program to speedup this display, which is very useful.

    P.S. For your information, I work on a DELL XPS desktop with an NVidia GTX 970 graphics display card and my main drive…

  15. Support symmetric curve signature / PSS padding validation

    Currently the PDF signature routines of Acrobat fail when using certain certificates. As an SecSigner employee explains, this may be due to symmetric curve crypt algorithms or using PSS padding, cf. https://seccommerce.com/anforderungen-an-den-secsigner-im-rahmen-von-etsi/ (in German)

    E.g. current PDF files by amazon.de result in the following error (German Acrobat DC installation, no pending updates):

  17. remove recent files window when no document is open

    When no document is open in Acrobat DC, a recent files list is shown. While the list of files can be disabled, the window itself cannot. As someone who works in Prepress who opens hundreds of PDFs per day, each time I am finished with a file I must also minimise Acrobat DC to return to my working files. As it stands, Acrobat DC is taking up my full screen and providing no useful function, so in my view should include an option to disable this window.
