  1. Please make an option for a handwritten/image signature to be mandatory in order for the client to sign.

(Our clients with special needs really struggle to find the fountain pen to do a handwritten signature. So they only type their name (default setting), and the funding body doesn't pay us.)

  2. Whenever a page is copied with a text box on it, the text box defaults to left aligned and shrinks to the size of the text. Then I need to stretch the text box to the edges of the screen and click center text again. This would be avoided if there was a way to center the text box on the text. At least have the text box of a copied page inherit the properties of the page it came from. This would significantly reduce the tedium of creating pages identical aside from the text centered on each page.

    TLDR:…

  4. Some links within the Adobe Acrobat Pro app point to https://helpx.adobe.com/ (e.g. items in the Accessibility report). Upon clicking the link the help text shows briefly but is then replaced by a login screen. There's no option to cancel or go back to the previous page (not even an option to switch account if it shows the wrong account).

At that moment I'm not interested in logging in, I need the information on that page which I just saw for two seconds.

If you go through Help > Online Support you end up on the same page, but then you…

  6. Received non-electronically signed document, but could not print document with signature (it does not show on the printout); technician directed me to open document in Reader in order to print the image with the signature. If I normally work in Adobe Acrobat Pro and I open all my documents with it, should I be able to print my documents from the same program? Would love to not have to think about this every time I want to print something that was signed separately.

  8. I have Acrobat Pro and tried to scan a pdf with OCR which gave me a message which said something about I have to pay for the OCR feature. This led me to finding the below support doc indicating OCR is part of Acrobat Pro.

Clicking on the same exact button again it brought up the ocr tools instead of displaying the message, but I wouldn't have necessarily thought to try the same thing twice until after searching the web for which adobe product I would need to purchase to use OCR in Acrobat Pro (it's built in as it…

    1. Select 2 PDF files is the same folder to combine.
    2. Combine then Adobe Acrobat DC.
    3. Choose "Save As".

The default folder seems to be a random place on my computer. It's never the same folder as the one with the two files that I just combined. And it takes a bunch of typing or clicking to get back to the original folder.

This happens every single time I combine files, making it really tedious to do something that should be easy.

Please set the default folder for 'Save As...' equal to the folder where I opened the files.

  9. On Adobe Acrobat Pro (32-bit; version 2023.001.20143) I'm trying to combine 3 documents. I used this feature last week with no issues. I used this feature today and the software only converted the first documents to a PDF and stopped.

  10. When I want to save as, a new dialog window opens with a list of recent locations I've saved to. But if I want to save elsewhere, I have to click "choose a different folder" to open yet another dialog window where I can navigate to the location of my choosing. Can we have all this happen in the same window?

  11. Please "UN" Update the Edit PDF feature, so you can add text without the whole document having to be Converted/Scanned. Put "Add Text" back to the way it was. On its own. Thanks

  12. Open the advanced metadata window (see screenshot): document properties > additional metadata > advanced.
It shows you the content of the attached screenshot. Which is incomplete and incorrect.
Save the xmp file from the PDF and it shows you all metadata that should be displayed.
In previous versions of adobe acrobat it did display correct.

  13. (Using Acrobat DC on a MacBook Pro running Monterey 12.6.3), Continuous Release 2023.001.20143)

I annotate PDF page proofs constantly. Just recently the Text Callout box started not updating in real time as it's being edited. The revised text appears after cmd-S Save, but doesn't appear while being edited. This happens when editing an existing Text Callout box, and also when adding to a new one that appears below (rather than above) the text being pointed at

  14. Steps to reproduce issue: Open word, click "create and share Adobe PDF" wait for 5 min. receive error message. Repeat. It is pretty regular event. Lately its 90% of the time I try. When the product works it produces a beautiful PDF, and when it does not it produces nothing. Considering that my work requires this regularly, it is rather frustrating. To have something I pay $20 a month for, not work.

  15. After placing a drawn signature using the "Fill & Sign" Tool on a PDF prepared with form fields, you are unable to move the signature box or delete it using the "Trash can" above the signature box.

Issue can be bypassed by closing the Fill & Sign tool and reopening it.

I cannot identify any document properties that might be causing this, when compared to a blank PDF there are no differing properties; however, when using the Fill & Sign on a blank PDF I get more options on the tool bar, when using Fill & Sign on the document…

  16. If I open a PDF through the File Explorer (File library) and still have the file chosen in File Explorer (Highlighted in Explorer) it is not possible to save the file after commenting or editing. (another user may have the file open ...)
Please make it possible to save a PDF even if it is highlighted in File Explorer, since this a normal way of working with PDFs.

  17. I have documents with sensitive information that need signature. I do not want the signed document to be sent to the receiver once it is signed because I do not want their sensitive information sitting in their email for potential hackers. Why does this take a support call to have you disable the feature from the backend? This should be a preference for the users in their account settings.

Secondly, I still want a copy of the signed document with the audit report as the last page. Yet, once this feature is disabled, I can no longer receive a copy.…

  18. Maybe this is just a problem with my computer running Windows 10, but, for some unknown reason, the active Adobe Acrobat window border changes to Windows 7 style on occasion and is usually followed shortly thereafter by the program crashing. Is anyone else experiencing this peculiar behavior?

  19. We live in the future now. the 90's were more than 20 years ago. I am uninstalling your product & using someone else's because you couldn't be bothered to provide basic accessibility. Nobody needs to ruin there eyesight for Adobe.
