  1. Please provide options for bookmark naming conventions. When creating HTML reports, I intentionally use relative links to link to attachments or appendices. However, when I create a PDF from the HTML home page, the bookmarks contain the full link exposing my User Profile name and other sensitive information. I would like the bookmark to be named for the relative link or the filename only (or an option for the document title). I prefer to create my reports in word with hyperlinks to other docs and attachments, but I have submitted a separate feature request for creating PDFs from documents with…

  4. Is there a way to make this happen? I also tried exporting the pdf to Word and there was still no way to make the change happen automatically. I guess I should have exported the entire document to Word in the first place and done all my edits there. Now I have over 500 edits to insert by hand -- double the work.

  5. Extract attachments and place them behind the parent email
When converting Outlook email all the attachment to be converted as a full blown document so it can be reviewed and redacted if necessary. I've attached two files to show you what I mean. I have to use a third party software to do this and it would be very helpful for Adobe to do it, especially for the legal community who need to review and redact documents.

  6. Many softwares are geospatially aware and can operate on a GeoPDF. Unfortunately most PDF based maps don't typically inherit and/or include a geodetic coordinate reference system (CRS), as the source is often a scanned map or JPG, PNG or other non-spatially aware image format. The ability to easily create a GeoPDF is a valuable way to promote their use, and the previously included georegistration tools were very effective. Assuming that the CRS uses a standard WGS-84 GCS the process is straight forward and easily performed. An enhanced toolset could include standardized alternate coordinate systems with translatable codes - such as…

  8. Hello, the signatures made on a PDF with the identification card of Spain (DNIe) the product does not manage to validate it correctly since the hierarchy that signs the OCSP response has been modified and instead of being signed by a subordinate the root itself does.

The OCSP response is signed by the following certificate:

    https://www.dnie.es/descargas/certificados/Ocsp_Responder_AV_DNIE_FNMT_AC_RAIZ_DNIE_2_0320 18.zip

This certificate is issued directly by the Root Authority:
    https://www.dnie.es/ZIP/ACRAIZ-DNIE2.zip

Why does the PDF indicate "certificate not valid for use?

There is a test set available to make a valid signature and another with certificate revoked at this link:
    https://www.dnie.es/descargas/certificados/Set_Certificados_Pruebas.rar

    Thank you very…

  11. We have had issues with alt text being duplicated into the actual text field when using the right click to access alt text or using the order panel to access alt text. The only way it is not duplicated is if alt text is entered via the tags panel properties method.

  12. Currently in acrobat dc opening old portfolios created with older versions are rendered useless. Very few options for operations are available. To convert older portfolios suitable in dc, I had to go through following process:

There is a way to convert xi portfolio to dc portfolio:

    Try this:

Open portfolio created in xi in acrobat dc
right click anywhere, select all - this will select all files in portfolio
    extract files
save to a temporary folder, say working files
select all files in working files folder
right click, combine files in acrobat
select save as portfolio or uncheck save as…

  20. I would like to request a normal PDF to Excel/XML conversion capabilities, especially in regards to a table formatting.

I understand that PDF files are not always properly created/formatted, but I do not see how it can be an issue for a good converter. The main point of converting PDF to Excel is to have a properly aligned table. I had experience with a third party PDF editing software, which costs less than Adobe Acrobat Standard and is able to automatically convert PDF to Excel with a seamless table formatting. Why Adobe, who invented Portable Document Format in the early 90s,…
