1. Expanded Options for Text to Speech

   Text to speech for many people is a useful tool that helps with learning disabilities, such as dyslexia. The text to speech tool in acrobat could be improved by allowing playing and pausing, reading selected text and easily switching between languages (or a detect language option).

2. inherit zoom default - Hyperlinks within the pdf document pages.

   It would be very Helpful if Adobe would address this issue with being able to set the zoom level of the hyperlinks within the pdf document to inherit zoom as a default setting. As explained by others it is a real pain to have to change all the hyperlinks in the document 1 at a time to accomplish a "inherit zoom" setting in a large pdf document that can have hundreds of hyperlinks. Using inherit zoom is a document standard that is required in many industries, so it is not just a preference that I personally prefer. I must use inherit zoom hyperlinks in documents submitted to the FDA. I have also read in other blogs that Legal documents submitted to courts must be filed using inherit zoom. I hope Adobe program engineers will recognize that there is a great need to have this functionality in their program. Adobe has only addressed the "Bookmark settings" and have not addressed the "Hyperlink settings" within the pdf...which causes the most pain and time to currently set in a document.

   There is at least one software maker that recognizes this need and has developed a ADD-IN called "Debenu PDF Aerialist" ( https://www.debenu.com/products/desktop/debenu-pdf-aerialist/ ) that claims to be able to do what Adobe Acrobat cannot do on it's own.

3. Improving Auto-sizing Text in Multi-Line-Read-Only data fields on web forms

   I dislike the way text inside multi-line-read-only data fields gets larger when documents are zoomed in on in active web forms. This sometimes means the text becomes too large to fit into the field and it becomes a scroll box. This happens even if there is not that much text and ample room in the field. This happens whether I set the text to the smallest size (8) or "auto-size" the text. I wish the text would just stay the same size as it does when you are actually creating/editing online forms and zooming in and out in the editing window.

4. Is it possible to assign Table Summary in Word?

   In order to meet contract requirements at work, I need to convert Word documents into section 508-compliant PDFs on a regular basis. In order to pass the accessibility check in Adobe Acrobat, each figure needs to have alt-text assigned and each table needs to have a table summary assigned. I know how to do this in Adobe Acrobat, but I would like to assign these items in Microsoft Word for efficiency. We often have to create multiple PDFs of the same Word document during the revision/editing process, and having these items already assigned in Word would eliminate rework. Also, we often use one Microsoft Word file as a template for other files. I was able to figure out how to assign the figure alt-text in Microsoft Word and it works exactly as I would expect. However, I can't seem to figure out a way to assign a table summary in Word. Is it possible to do this and have it transfer to the PDF when the PDF is created?

   I have tried right-clicking on the table in Word, selecting Table Properties, and clicking the Alt Text tab. I have tried entering information in the Title and Description fields. Neither of these seem to transfer into the table summary when the PDF is created. Is what I am trying to do even possible? It would save us so much time if we could assign the table summaries in Word.

   Adobe Acrobat Pro DC: Version 2022.001.20085

6. shift+U not working

   According to the Adobe Acrobat DC keyboard Shortcut page.

9. Still no Dark Mode for Adobe Acrobat Pro for Windows? 2022 now and still nothing

   Just opened and checked out the "brand new" Adobe Acrobat 2022 for windows. STILL no change. Are they just now repackaging the same program and updating the names and versions? lol I mean unbelievable how many have requested this now COMMON feature on all other apps and operating systems! I'm referring to a Dark Reading Mode with the click of a button. The very same one they have on their android and ios apps. The level of some Tech corporations DENSEness is truly astonishing sometimes. I can count hundreds if not thousands of requests for this basic easy to implement feature yet Adobe doesn't care. It's just weird. Well adobe, one good turn deserves another. keep ignoring your customers and we will find other options. The strange thing is Adobe actually has this feature on EVERY OTHER PLATFORM and Operating system except Windows. I know this is a public chat room, but the official "requests" for this feature have been made already by thousands. Adobe continues to ignore their own customers. I think that is just dumb. My respect for this company has significantly dropped over the years.

10. Esign - Privacy issue displaying personal email

    In the email to Recipients, the email body text states and shares the senders name and Adobe ID primary email address.

    This is a privacy issue, there should be an option to hide the email address and/or have option to use alternative email (such as secondary email on the account).

    Using Adobe Sign servers to send the email, it is inferenced that your personal email is not shown to this 3rd party. But I have discovered they have full visibility of your personal email in the body of the email text.

    This is in breach of privacy laws, as a 3rd party is given this email without your knowledge in the settings of Adobe Esign.

11. Combine alternate pages

    It would be very useful if Adobe allowed files to be merged with alternating pages. E.G Odd numbered pages scanned by a single sided scanner saved as file 1. Even numbered pages scanned by same single sided scanner saved as file 2. Combine File 1 with file 2, with alternating pages taken from each file i.e. File1Page1 + File2Page1 + File1Page2 + File2Page2.....

12. Increase "Split By" size limit

    Currently you can only split a document by file size by a value between 0.5 and 50MB. Can this be increased to support file sizes such as 250MB?

13. Workspace saving for Adobe Acrobat

    In the Adobe CC programs, you can always save a workspace. I'd love to have that in Acrobat, too. Everytime the program updates, my tools in the right vertical tool bar go back to default and sometimes also the tools in the horizontal toolbar do that.

14. Export just selected/filtered comments

    The filters on the Commenting feature work well to filter by e.g. author, checked status, colour.

    What we need is to be able to export just the filtered results.
    What happens is that Acrobat ignores the filter, even when choosing 'Export just the selected comments' and exports the entire list to a data file. This is after filtering AND selecting all the comments that have been filtered. Somewhat illogical behaviour.

15. Underline feature doesn't hold when creating a web link, reverts to rectangle box after you save.

    Creating a web link inside a pdf and the underline setting works while in the Acrobat app but once you save and open in Mac preview it shows up as a rectangle. Color effect is correct at least. I also tried opening in Chrome and no rectangle or underline although the link feature still works.

16. Place multi-page documents on layers with one click

    We create patterns for sewing and want to put a multi-page pattern in A4 format for each size on one layer. A document sometimes contains up to 80 pages per clothing size. A pattern has in the cut up to 11 sizes.

    Wish: The document should be able to be placed on a layer with one click. Until now, each page has to be assigned individually! to the respective target page of the respective layer - we are talking about 880 pages that have to be assigned manually.

19. Editing name of a user in Admin center > users

    Administrators don't have the ability to change the name of the user after the license has been assigned to the email address. Ability to edit the name would help with user management in the scenario if the name was misspelled or not added. Currently only the user can change the name.
