  1. When I open up a document on my Macbook which has been scanned in using Adobe Scan (on my phone) then Adobe crashes. Mostly it does this before I can save the files to local disk. Once on local disk, it opens them OK.

  3. When one clicks the highlight icon or comment icon (accidentally or on purpose) one is committed to doing more highlighting or commenting. The best one can do right now is click some other icon. One wants to go back to just selecting text. (The same should hold for other icons.)

  4. The company I work for uses a lot of text boxes when marking up client PDF files obtained during our audits. The lack of ability to set a default font size, color, and style for every text box we add is very time consuming. I realize there is still a feature to set the default text box fill and outline, however I do not want 12-point RED font as my predetermined default every time I choose to add a text box. PLEASE bring this feature back!

    Thank you

  6. I have to fill out form repeatedly with different information each week for something for class. I edited it a bit the first time and then set it up to use as a "template" for myself in the future. However, I am trying to delete a portion in "Fill & Sign" where I circled things (I had to do a bunch of ratings on a scale of 1-5) and change them for the new week and it will not let me delete or adjust the old circles I made. I can't figure out how to do this or find any…

  7. My professors take out certain parts of their powerpoints so students have to go to class to be able to fill in the PDF of the powerpoints. But, sometimes, I need to fill in equations but there is no way to add them like you can in Microsoft's equation editor.

  10. Bug Report - The text in these API's are stunningly useless to me. Check these screenshots and send this issue to someone who knows how to fix it. I've been dealing with this problem, and have tried to get it resolved, since day 1 of my purchase of Adobe Pro XI. My other Adobe products have some of these same defects in the API's. These boxes are unreadable. No adjustment to screen display or resolution or in the program preferences makes a bit of difference.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. Kindly share with us specific details of the issue you are facing”.

  12. Bug - I have up to date Microsoft Outlook for mac (subscription) as well as a subscription for Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. The idea of a subscription (which is pretty expensive) is that you get the most recent version of the software.

I have been using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC for about two weeks now. My experience has been very negative. The specific issue that annoys me is the ability to email a PDF file. When I attempt to do this one of two things happen:

    1) The system just goes into Beach ball spinning mode - have to force…

  16. Prior to Adobe DC, one option for printing was to "print color as black". This was different from 'Gray scale" in that lighter colors (like yellow and pink) would come out as light gray. For folks printing line drawings (piping and electrical diagrams), this is a NECESSITY since the gray scale lines are almost illegible.

Previous versions permitted this or provided a work around to print like this.

Please reintroduce this to the options, otherwise, we have to use other software to generate the files.

If this capability does exist, please make the option simple to find.

    Hi,

    Thanks for you valuable feedback.
To Print color as black you can try this:
Select Print, then the Advanced button. Under Color Management, scroll nearly to the bottom of Color Profile. There you’ll find Black & White. Select this, then, OK, the Print.
    Is this solve your issue?

    Best Regards!

  17. When first applying a hairline fix in Acrobat (all lines below 0,25 pt to 0,25 pt) and then flattening transparency in Acrobat using the transparency flattener, Acrobat crashes. I see the progress bar going to 100% and then Acrobat crashes without any error.

BUT... if I skip the hairline fix step, then Acrobat flattens the file without problems. So there must be something with the hairline fix that causes the transparency flattener to crash.

Using Acrobat Pro DC 2017.012.20098 on Mac.

    Example files in attachment.
    File ...WITH... crashes while flattening.
    File ...WITHOUT... flattens fine.

  18. Bug report: Acrobat Pro Compare documents is missing noticeable changes from the old document to new document using the "Reports, spreadsheets, magazine layouts" option.

Can be reproduced by using the Compare Documents feature and comparing an older document to a newer document.

    Version: 2015 Release (Classic) 2015.006.30355
    OS: Windows 10, Windows 7, Server 2012R2

Expected Result: Compare documents feature should catch noticeable changes in the document from the old document to new document.

I attached a screenshot of an area missed by the compare feature (highlighted in red circle), if needed I can provide the 2 documents used to compare.…

  20. We want to create a PDF file from local HTML files.

It can show gradient background if we save PDF by using printing function in browser.

However, It doesn't works when created in Acrobat.

We don't want to use printing function to create all PDF files, due to there are many pages waited to be converted.

The gradient background are written in CSS.

    Could we have a solution?

    Tks.
