  2. Search and highlight

    I am using Acrobat Pro 2017 (NOT DC). I would like to search for a word (in a single document) and be able to highlight every instance of my search term at once. I have tried using redaction feature and changing to highlight as a workaround, but it makes the print of my searched word lighter, so no good. Thanks.

  5. Adobe Pro DC, Allow the Ability to Lock use and creation of self-signed Digital ID

    Create a function that allows administrators within an organization the ability to lock down the functionality of creating a self-signed Digital ID. In organizations that use digital ID's as a result of PIV cards, the ability to verify signatures on PDF's is critical. Administrators should have the ability to restrict digital signing to PIV certificate authentication and not allow users to create self-signed digital ID's.

  7. Prepare Form Keeps Crashing

    Prepare Form keeps crashing when I click to open it. Edit is not working either. The program is very slow when opening application/program. The app freezes a lot.

  8. Comments are slipping when opening a single comment

    If I double-click on a comment it rises in the height (because of the post-button). Sometimes it rises also without double clicking, just on one click! If I click on the next comment the comment before shrinks and the current comment rises. So the complete list AND the current comment slips up. So if I have al list of 1000 comments and copy every comment-text to paste it in InDesign, my eyes and my brain gets tired of the constant comment-slipping. It's also hard to orientate if I switch between InDesign and Acrobat. Especially if the comment panels just shows…

  10. Unable to save documents since most recent update

    I am unable to "save as" since the most recent update. I use Windows 10 Pro. My expected result is that I can "save as" rather than the white screen I get when I try to "save as"

  13. Can no lonnger edit my PDF

    Been working and editing a pdf for a week now. All of a sudden I get this message: "This form cannot be edited in Adobe Acrobat DC. Please use Adobe LiveCycle Designer to edit this form." Please let me know whats going on with this. I see no other place to address this, Thanks

  14. Thumbnail not yet available - Acrobat Reader

    When processing advanced fields for Fill&Sign in Acrobat the thumbnail for filling signature areas in of a document has started to appear blank with the text "Thumbnail not yet available". This results in not being able to attach the fields required. It used to work seamlessly and now I get this regularly.

  15. Links to specific pages in other PDFs

    I wish to be able to create a link in PDF1 that takes me to a specific page in PDF2 whilst both documents remain open so that I can refer to both documents at the same time. I am a lawyer and for example wish to link a person's statement (in a large PDF) to their exhibit (in a different PDF). I have been in the help chat centre today and cannot believe that this cannot be done. This is first base stuff.

  16. Startup Preferences

    Many of us would like Acrobat to work in a certain way that supports the way we work. For example, I want to always open in Read View (globally, not set per each document). Others have similar requests regarding Comments and such.

    I'd like to suggest that you implement a fairly comprehensive Preferences facility that enables us to customize this powerful product to the way we work. It does not take long for the frustration to build when the product is klunky. Give us the ability to smooth out some of the rough edges please.

  17. Provde ability to change the default font COLOR on the Edit PDF screen. Can changed default font why not color too? would help alot

    Ability to change default color on "Edit PDF" would enable BIG productivity win for us. Using EDIT PDF is super easy to make changes on customer record document - but seeing the change in color would provide very clearly where new information was added or changed.

  18. This system is horrible, what a waste of time!!!! Glad I did the free trial first before I bought.

    Forget about it- terrible program with no ease of use or direction. Total waste of my time!

  19. Acrobat DC accessibility standard - update to WCAG 2.1 please

    Adobe, PLEASE update Acrobat Pro DC's accessibility standard from WCAG 2.0 to WCAG 2.1. It came out a year ago, June 2018, but Acrobat DC does not yet support it.

    Government agencies now require 2.1 to comply with accessibility legislation: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/accessibility-requirements-for-public-sector-websites-and-apps

    Our accessible PDFs are mostly for government agencies. If Acrobat does not update soon we can no longer use it and will have to find an alternative. Can anyone suggest any good apps that validate to WCAG 2.1?
