1. Adobe won't let me save this pdf: myfile 7.14.17. I get an "Access Denied" message. Never had this issue before lst update.

   Why can I no longer save a pdf as 7.14.17? I get "Access Denied " error message. I have to call it: July 14 2017. Never had this before last update.

3. keyboard shortcut for Save as PDF/Print to PDF

   In Mac, I have always used Command+P+P to save anything as a PDF (i.e., print to PDF).

   Since I've installed Pro 2017 this feature no longer works. I know it works in Sierra, which is what I'm using, because it works on my other Sierra machine in which I have not installed Pro 2017. So it must be a peculiarity to Pro 2017.

4. I cannot print my bill for records of my monthly payment. In fact, I can sign on, but every time I depress manage acccout, I have to resign

5. Acrobat Pro DC Needs Better ERROR Messages

   I'll first give an example then explain why Acrobat Pro DC needs better error messages.

   We often work with large PDFs (sometimes 10,000 pages or more) that are created by joining together many smaller PDFs in Acrobat Pro DC.

   Bates Numbers are applied and sometimes removed and re-applied as the document get's built.

   Sometimes something goes wrong when editing the PDF.
   For example Edit > More > Bates Numbering > Remove... gives an error "A number is out of range."

   This error unfortunately comes up for us a lot which I guess is to be somewhat expected when combining hundreds of PDFs from various sources. I'm assuming not every PDF generator follows exact PDF standards; iPhones, bank websites, 3rd party PDF printers, etc. However these PDFs were all combined with Acrobat Pro DC. Meaning that Acrobat Pro DC is not checking the PDFs or sanitising the data when they are imported! But that is another subject for another day...

   The problem we have is that the error message(s) don't even tell us on which page it encountered the error. So we are left scratching out heads wondering which page or which part of the 10,000 page document has the problem.

   What would be better would to give an option to the user ignore the error and keep processing the rest of the document. OR process the entire document and generate a report of pages that contained errors so the user could then attempt to go and repair those pages.

   Ok so hold on because this gets better...

   So to attempt to repair the document(s) we try and split them into smaller documents using Organise Pages > Split > say 100 pages or 1000 pages per "Part"
   Then we get the error: "An incorrect structure was found in the PDF."

   Ok well what now? Where is the option to repair the structure of the PDF?? Or at least tell the user what part of the structure was incorrect.

   Ok so now I guess we'll export the whole thing to PostScript and run it through Acrobat Distiller DC and rebuild the PDF with the Standard profile.
   Which still gives us the same errors! So the only option we are left with is rebuilding the entire PDF from the ground up which can take days...

   I understand that the Adobe Support Community can't really change the future of Adobe products but I am hoping this post will eventually make it to the developers at Adobe who might add just a few lines of code to tell me on which page the "A number is out of range." It would be very helpful.

   Acrobat Pro DC is a great product but when things go wrong it doesn't seem to handle errors very well.
   Please build-in PDF document error recovery or at least give the end-user a little more information to help them fix the problems. This is a "Pro" product.

7. Font Awesome

   I wanted to use Font Awesome icons in Forms, but is not possible. I choose the Font Awesome in text field properties, but doesn't show when I want to copy an icon from the cheatsheet - the same technique works with every other Adobe program. 8. Random missing letters appearing when editing and saving over a PDF

   I cannot upload as the information is sensitive but there seems to be a programme glitch when you are editing and then saving over PDFs. I have just attached a screen shot instead. It happens maybe 8/10 times but when you are editing the text on PDFs random missing letters appear. It seems the only way to get around this is by copying and pasting the letters back in place and this doesn't even always work. The PDFs were originally designed in Indesign and saved out as PDFs as templates to be edited afterwards. I have called Adobe many times and the issue is still occurring months later. I have tried re-creating the indesign files, I have tried changing the font, I have tried un-installing and then reinstalling, I have tried many other computers and this issue is still happening. It is a terrible problem and is happening to all of my colleagues. This needs to be fixed immediately as I have spent so much time on this bug already. It is extremely frustrating.

9. Import Image for Initials

   The same options for creating a personalized signature should be made available for creating personalized initials. Specifically, I'd like to be able to import an image file of my initials. Currently, the only options are to type your initials or use the cursor to digitize them. Neither sufficiently replicates the look of real, handwritten initials.

10. It would be of great help adding a "Technical Drawing Border" in Tools

    When I make a technical drawing and save it on PDF I usually go to tools and add a rectangle as a basic border. It would be great and very helpful having an option for adding a technical drawing border instead of a simple rectangle (see attached sample)/

11. Acrobat Pro arbitrarily changes form field types after crash

    First my suggestion for Acrobat Pro is work more painstakingly or stock up staff! The CC costs a bunch of money and when working with it, it shows that it doesn't function as sufficient as is should. Especially when it comes to creating/editing more advanced interactive PDFs with Acrobat Pro. The possibility to do that basically is a very mighty and good feature but it doesn't runs as stable as it should.

    In my opinion there could/should be a standalone software thats reduced to interactive/form field and layout functions (comparable: InDesign) only. Acrobat Pro is packed full with lots of features and often many of them feel (maybe therefore) like a compromise.

    Recently I noticed a lot of bugs, but so far I didn't took my time to report one of them. Today I want to start with it.

    To my bug:

    Acrobat seems to randomly change the type of my form fields.

    I'm working on a PDF questionaire with about 70 pages. The PDF doesn't only consists of text/input fields it also has buttons that enable the users to navigate to different sites. While working on this today Acrobat for Mac suddenly got stuck.

    I wanted to set an action of a field to "show/hide a field", after i chosed this action from the list the software got stuck. The mac umbrella kept spinning and the software didn't reacted until I force-closed and restarted it.

    After the restart I glanced through some navigation fields that I edited before. They were configured as normal buttons with a "go to page X" action. In the form field overview/list on the right I noticed that they (only some) changed their type from "OK/button" to a checkbox/checkfield - which is some kind of weird. Nevertheless their configured action kept unchanged but after clicking and coming back to the page where they're placed, they appear as a checked checkbox.

    In Acrobat Pro there is a lot of what normal users/customers would call "randomness" in its behavior. I'm sure there are very complex dependencies behind these problems but for the user it simply feels not
    incomprehensible and unsatisfactory.

    At least I can speak for me. I'm often very frustrated, when working with Acrobat Pro on interactive PDFs because the idea of being able to do so is basically great and in other aspects the software already is a good product.

12. Option for name other than login

    It would be nice if I could enter a name to use under Identity and could indicate to use this name regardless of how I am signed into acrobat. This way, comments added using my business or personal copy of Acrobat could show the exact same name. Thank you.

    When you delete any file from portfolio, the portfolio index or File list in portfolio get updated automatically, you just need to save the changes made by you.

15. Installing a new printer while Acrobat or Reader is open and then trying to print to it sends it to the wrong printer

    After installing a printer while Adobe Acrobat and/or Reader is already open and has a PDF open, attempting to print to it prints to a different printer, even though the new printer appears in the list. Acrobat/Reader must be closed and reopened in order to print to the new printer.

    Steps to reproduce:
    1) Open Acrobat or Reader.
    2) Open a PDF
    3) Install a new printer
    4) Attempt to print the PDF to the newly installed printer (it appears in the list of printers)
    5) The PDF prints to a different printer.

    Environment: Windows 7 64-bit. Acrobat version 11 or Reader version 11.

    Expected result: PDF prints to newly installed printer
    Observed result: PDF prints to a different printer

    Workaround: Close and reopen the application after a printer install.

18. Daily vanishing of Adobe applications Manager

    I have fully paid Acrobat Pro DC for Windows PC. Inspite of this Adobe treats me as illegal user, makes me download AAM (around 86 MB). Then tells me that my copy of Acrobat is valid for 00 days. Mkaes me re-register the copy everyday. They have most incompetent customer care, which make you go in loop for hours without any solutions.

    Do you get any sadistic pleasure in making your customers keep downloading acrobat everyday?

    Are there any human beings I can talk to? or all only looped computers?

19. I'd like to be able to copy/paste text from one PDF into another one and have the tagging structure follow it.

    It would be nice if the tagging structure followed text that is copied/pasted and/or exported/imported from one PDF into another one.

20. Bug report: export to jpeg does not work. never has. Windows 10.

    Expect it to generate jpeg file on export or save as with jpeg filetype. It doesn't generate anything but doesn't give an error message.
