  1. Whenever Acrobat DC updates -- it resets the tools listing i have customized on the sidebar. I wouldn't mind the addition of new tools to the list -- but stop removing the tools i have added. Thanks

  2. After the automated scanning of forms many fields have the wrong kind.
    Where is the function to change kind of many marked fields then?

    Everyone who created a form, will have a need or use of such function.

  3. On the phone I made an appointment for the internet installation. Later on I received information about the appointed date and time different. Please confirm the exact appointment date and time for installing the Virgin Internet at my home. Appreciate for your

  4. I purchased the export function to convert PDF content to text - your, excel, word and RTF options just offer a COPY of the pdf with tables and comments - what a waste of time. I need to convert bank statements to text either in .txt or csv - is this possible? If not I would like to cancel the subscription please.

  5. Open a viewing system such as Hathi Trust or an ebook platform. Copy a page image, 'Create PDF from Clipboard'. Repeat more than 15 times. On some occasions you cannot then create a PDF from all the open pages. However, after doing this it is then impossible to copy and paste in other windows applications as it appears that the windows clipboard has become corrupted by acrobat. A full reboot is required to fix this.

  6. My specs are in the attached screenshots.

    Note: I had problems with Acrobat yesterday, so this morning I uninstalled/reinstalled the app via the Creative Cloud app.

    1. With one or more PDFs open, choose File > Create > Combine Files into a Single PDF….

    2. Add any number of files using the Add Files… command or by clicking the Add Files button.

    3. Click the Combine button.

    4. When the resulting PDF appears (Binder[n].pdf), focus returns to the last-selected open PDF.

    In general the first thing I want to do when the combined file appears is save and rename it.

    It's minor but frustrating…

  8. Over the past few weeks I've noticed Acrobat has suddenly started triggering an array Windows notifications to update, install, or restart. (Side question: we seriously need to do a system restart for an Acrobat update? For real?)

    I'm not sure what UX philosophy prompted this behavior, but I'd really rather it stop. While I think Acrobat is a solid piece of software, I really don't use it that much and I really don't care when there's an update for it.

    Considering how no other Adobe app sends repeated notifications like this, I'm a little confused as to why this now…

  10. On recieved emails with link to shared files from Adobe Cloud/Acrobat pro could you include the Title/Name given to the collective shared files.
    As is its just the first file name of multiple files sent.

    The image i've uploaded was with one of your help assistants and as you can see its just one uploaded file name on the open email but i think it would be good to also have the NAME/TITLE that was given when sending before this so it would read:

    Martyn Wild has shared DUNLOP SOCKS.... then maybe the file names of uploaded files.

  12. I would like to edit Hebrew scanned pdf document . To enable me to cut , paste , change add. To use it for power points presentation and smart board application.
    it must be like a regular doc. file.

  13. The current bookmark system is very flexible and feature rich, but is usually overkill for what I need. When I want to save my place in a PDF book, for example, instead of creating a new bookmark and editing it as I continue reading it would be much easier to just right-click on an existing bookmark and in the context (i.e. popup) menu have an option for "Save my place". Then, when I come back to the document it should just open to that location. Simple.

  14. I am trying to edit an 8 page document and when it is about 5 pages through the conversion process to OCR it closes and does not complete. It would be nice if I could still edit a document without it needing to convert to OCR. I always undo OCR anyways.

  16. When webforms are created, using adobe sign, there should be option to allow rich text formatting so that users can edit font types and functions like Bold, Underline, Italics. Also the font type on webform is limited to just 6 and often does not match the other pre printed text on the document

    Additionally, users should be able to paste objects or tables in webforms.

  17. When we use red aloud mode, the language should be recognized or we should have the choice. Here the pdf is in French and it reads in English. Incomprehensible

  18. When using OCR on scanned documents, hand drawn images are confused for text and are reliably ruining the output PDFs. The easy fix would be to allow users to exclude "zones" (boxes) of the document from OCR scanning, OR allow users better tools to remove zones of detected text.

    As of current, there isn't any easy way of correcting OCR from scanning hundreds of nonexistent characters from drawings and images. If OCR has detected many characters on seperate lines, the user will need to painstakingly shift through each correction until the document is cleared of all errors.

  19. It would be nice if Adobe would hide the email addresses of the recipients, when a document is going out to multiple recipients for signature. The problem we are experiencing is that Adobe will notify John Smith that after he signs the document it will then be sent to Jane Smith at janesmith@gmail.com. John Smith should not be seeing Jane Smith's email address. Those really should be confidential or hidden, or at least make that an option to enable or disable. Also, it shouldn't be plan specific. I was told that Enterprise plan has that option, but that should…

  20. Since switching over to Acrobat DC, when dragging and dropping files into the combine feature screen more often than not it will open the files instead of adding them to the list to be combined. This makes a slow process even more cumbersome.
