  1. Hi, i have Acrobat DC (Pro) and uses the measure-tool a lot, but nowadays it doesnt work to change the scale. If i want to change from 1:100 to for ex 1:50 I change ti in the area where I should change it (by rightclick) AND then it shows that it should measure in 1:50 BUT still it shows the same figures when I measure..... Is it something with the program or with the file I should change???

  2. It takes to long loading signature image file, after start-up of Acrobat.

    It may be the file, which is lightweight, or sync with online account in general at that moment.

    4 grey blue squares rotate aout 3-5 sec.

  3. I had pdf writer installed on my Mac when it died. I tried bringing it to this new machine from my backup disk and it now wants me to buy some adobe cloud. Been on the phone on hold for hours, been on chat for hours, frankly the customer service is horrible or non-existent. Please help men get back up and running.

  4. I don't know how I have protected the file, was not intentionally. How could I reverse it if I don't know the password? I think cause I fill the form in my computer I should be able to reverse do I? Please I need a help with it. tjhanks

I SCANNED A VERY LARGE AMOUNT OF PAPERWORK APPROXIMATELY 400 PAGES INTO MY COMPUTER YESTERDAY AND TODAY AND NOW I CANNOT OPEN THE ITEMS (2) WARNING SAYS "ERROR CANNOT OPEN FILES DAMAGED AND CANNOT BE REPAIRED" WHAT CAN I DO? IS THERE A WAY I CAN RETRIEVE MY WORK AND POSSIBLE BREAK IT DOWN INTO SMALLER SEGMENTS?

    Hi,
    We need some information to understand and resolve this issue:
    - Acrobat version
    - Scanner details
    - Scan settings
    - Number of pages scan
    - Does it happen for small files also or only for these bulk scanned files.

  9. It would be greatly appreciated if custom buttons or menu items created in JavaScript be allowed to be added to the toolbars in WebView (Internet Explorer). This used to work in Acrobat and Reader in version 7, 8, 9 and X but now doesn't work :(

    1. Click link to open a pdf using Internet Explorer 11

  12. As a new user of Acrobat DC, I combine 2 files and save the portfolio. When I open up my new combined file there is a column panel on the left that shows the 2 documents that I combined. I cannot scroll through my new combined document from page 1 to the end. Rather, I must use arrows to toggle between my 2 documents. What am I missing to see it as one new combined document? Thanks.

  15. Every time I open a pdf from an email, it automatically saves it to the desktop. I then have to delete them and it is difficult finding the latest file...that I didn't want to save in the first place. I want to choose when to save a file.

    You can change folder path via Preferences > Securit y(Enhanced) > Add Folder path.

    I hope this works for you

  16. While editing text in a .pdf I try to change the texts color by bringing up the color picker. When I try to change the color by clicking on a color patch nothing happens. I end up using the eye dropper to select a new color.
    This problem started after I upgraded my computer to the new iMac Pro.

    As a workaround, after clicking on the color patch, you can press enter/return or spacebar to select the color.

  20. Hello Adobe Company,

    We've been your customer for 10 years. We have about 400 users that have a lot PDF requirement of use but not frequently. So, we worked with Adobe supporter to deploy Acrobat to our server for user working with PDF in order.
    However, Adobe suppoter confirmed that Adobe company hasn't had any solution for license management which control users using license at a point time or kick someone who forget exiting Acrobat after using.
