  1. I often have two PDFs open at the same time, side by side, for referencing purposes. Now with the Acrobat DC I don't have that choice as both opened files are now in the same 'tabbed' PDF window. I can see the two files 'serially' but not side by side.
    What to do?????

    Hi,

You can drag the newly opened tab out and your PDF will now be open in new Acrobat window.

    Thanks

  2. We use text boxes or callout tool to "balloon" customer prints with several different colors representing the type of feature or dimension. Would like to be able to view the different colors by "groups" or "layers" in any combination. Current use of layers does not work as it imports each separate ballooned print over the other and are only visible by toggling between but not in combination with each other. Have talked to adobe direct and verified there is no support for this type of function at this time. Seems like a simple feature to me, we have used this…

  4. When I copy and past text from the PDF into Dreamweaver, I loose all the formatting. This waste an enormous amount of time. I have all the clients email me the texts to create html newsletters - but sometimes they can't or they want use an old brochure etc. Please fix or let me know what I need to do to use the product better.

  5. After the latest Acrobat Pro DC update, I click on the printer icon and it takes 5-6 seconds before the application begins bringing up the print dialog. Then I click the print button on the print dialog and it takes 15-19 seconds before the document actually begins printing on my HP LaserJet color printer. This is immensely longer than printing took before the update. On the initial click of the printer icon, the title bar actually says "not responding."

    Hi,

    Thanks for your valuable feedback.
Let us know in case you face any issue.

    Best Regards!

  6. After latest update of adobe acrobat pro DC (for me d.d. 25 February 2018)

    The PDF printer has disappeared.

    System config:
    Windows 7 professional sp1 64 bit
Creative cloud (adobe acrobat pro DC)

Actions tried to get the printer back:
    1. I tried a repair of adobe acrobat pro DC.
    2. I tried manually add the printer.
    3. reinstall adobe acrobat pro DC.

If I go to the windows event viewer I see the following error message:
Installing printer driver - failed, error code 0x2, HRESULT 0x80070002. See the event user data for context information.

  12. Well, the idea is to stop the friggin' crashing of Acrobat! Just about the time that I upgraded to macOS High Sierra (currently 10.13.3), the Acrobat plug-in StatusCheck2 began crashing. Now, it crashes numerous times a day. I have found nothing to stop it.
I also have Enfocus PitStop Pro, if that makes a diff.

  13. Hi I'm having continual issues with using the Redact and Combine tools. Whenever I use these tools and attempt to save the document, I get the wheel of death and have to force close Adobe. When I go to where I saved the document, I get an error message saying "There was an error opening this document. The file is damaged and could not be repaired."

  14. Provide Option to Open In Less Than Full Screen Mode.

I work with multiple documents on may PC screen. Every time I open Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, it fills the whole screen and I have to go fishing for the corner of the screen to shrink it. I'd like to concentrate when I work, not get distracted or annoyed.

Your support would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

You can change the screen display by trying:
    1) Open Adobe Reader.
    2) Select “Edit” > “Preferences“.
    3) Select “Page Display” on the left pane.
    4) Under the “Default Layout and Zoom” area, change the “Zoom” dropdown menu to a desired setting.

    Hope this works for you.

  15. Adobe Acrobat Pro DC should give a warning message that multiple tabs are being closed. This helps just in case the user has inadvertently entered a keyboard command (like Command-Q in macOS) instead of pressing Command-tab to switch to another open application.

  16. Make Form Conversions more intuitive and accurate. The cursor still jumps around and seldom allows me to position it where I want to type.

Thank you for your suggestion. We shall need more information on how does the “cursor jump around” and what workflow of “Form Conversions” are you using.

Is it converting MSWord to Acroform or via scanning.?
    Please share more details

  19. In Adobe XI, we were able to hide the Editing Tools and toolbars in a Portfolio, so when we sent it to a client, they were able to only view the documents. Can we please get that capability back in Adobe Acrobat 2017?

  20. Virtual Printer for Mac
So you can print customised page sizes A1 A2 etc from all software
Used to be a feature but has been removed.
is still a feature on PC.
Other apps are available such as PDF Printer from the App Store that do this.

Need to either have Adobe PDF appear as a printer, or be able to adjust settings under the create pdf button, before it creates the pdf.

currently you can only create a pdf that matches the same size as the document. so you can't print an A4 document onto an A3, A2, A1…
