1. Bug with Commentary function in Acrobat DC

   Scenario: You attempt to comment on page n by rightclicking and using the comment function, while you are scrolled so far down, that page n+1 is already displayed as your current page.
   The Result: You create a comment marker on page n+1, however it is located in the same position that you had selected on page n.
   This is obviously not intended and probably a result of generating the page position of the comment by checking the "current page" of the document instead of using the page that was actually right clicked on.

2. Can't get a PDF Form to print entire contents of a fillable field

   I have a fillable form that was given to me that has a lot of text in one field. The text extends beyond the border established for the field and a scroll bar appears on the right hand side of the field to allow me to read it.

   I need to print the document with all of the contents in it but can't figure it out. Either I'm doing something wrong or there is a problem with the form or Adobe can't do it. Any help you can provide would be helpful.

3. Problem showing comments sorted by date

   I'm trying to use Adobe Acrobat Pro DC for the second time. My job is to correct texts by using the "comment" function; my favourite function is sorting my comments by date, so that I can see what I did last. I love the function that the comment list is grouped by days; it happens frequently that I have 150, 300, 500, 1000 comments a day – and there the list seems to have a poblem: After a certain number of entries a day, I cannot scroll down anymore and the list is cut off at the bottom of the group in question. I have attached some snapshots of the problem, in the hope that someone knows the problem, a solution ... or if the bug (?) will be fixed by a update soon ...?

   Snapshot 1: all my groups of comments sorted by date.

   Snapshot 2: no problem in the group of 9 comments, all the comments are shown.

   Snapshot 3: PROBLEM in the group of 143 comments, i can not scroll further down at this point, and one sees that there are more comments that should be scrollable ... same problem in the group of 380 comments (no snapshot).

4. Flattener Preview window does not resize if moved to different screen.

   I have a laptop display with a window resolution of 1920x1080. Attached to it is an external monitor with a resolution of 1920x1080 at 125% scale and another external monitor with a resolution of 1920x1080 at 100% scale. When the Flattener Preview window appears on the laptop display it appears as a complete popup window. If it is moved to either of the other external screens the window is partially cut off. There are no scroll bar options to access the "missing" parts of the window. It appears to cut off the bottom and right sides of the popup window. These missing sections do reappear if the Flattener Preview window is returned to the laptop screen.

5. Switching between the normal viewing screen and the Organise Pages screen, page lost

   This is a problem in the new version that was not present in the old version: When switching between the normal viewing screen and the Organise Pages screen, the page being viewed on the normal viewing is not then highlighted on the Organise Pages screen. When going in the other direction, the page highlighted on the Organise Pages Screen is not then shown on the normal viewing screen. WIth this new version, it is neessary to make a note of the page number when switching between screens otherwise the page is "lost" and it is necessary to scroll through and find it again. In documents with 1000s pf pages this is a real problem.

6. File-uploads overlay UI-elements and can not be sorted in classic experience

   Steps to reproduce the issue:
   1. Open "Send"-tab in Adobe Sign
   2. Use the classic experience
   3. Upload about 10 to 15 files
   4. Try to sort it

   Environment:
   Windows 10 Version 22H2 (Build 19045.4529)
   Microsoft Edge Version 126.0.2592.81 (64-Bit)

   Expected result:
   1. Files don't overlay the UI-elements
   2. File-container adds scrollbar and can be scrolled if attached files take up more space than the container is large
   3. Files can be sorted

   Observed result:

7. Annoyance: Page manipulation tool keeps jumping back to page 1

   I often receive PDF files from someone that has scanned them using a scanning photocopier. Sometimes alternate pages are upside down. i suspect this is due to an incorrect setting on the scanner. When I open the page manipulation tool, each time I select the little circle with the arrow beside a given thumbnail of a page, the page flips, but the tool then jumps back to page 1. I have to then scroll down to where I was and continue flipping pages. With a small document, it's not a big deal. But it becomes quite tedious with a larger document.

8. Need Better Text Editor on Acrobat Uservoice

   This box I'm typing in has no expansion triangle in the bottom right corner. Although it scrolls, the limited dimensions may be OK for ideas but are a hindrance for bug reporting. The entry space in the Acrobat Support Forums allows all the room one needs and allows the posting of images and video of anomalies. Yet the last couple of times I've reported a bug in Support, I've been redirected to re-report everything here and provide the Uservoice URL. If this is going to be a bug-reporting space as well as an "idea" space, it needs a full-featured editor.

   Selecting one of the following from 'technology' dropdown:
   -Condensing Boiler
   -Condensing Make-up Air

10. reading the pdf

    there are a lot of improvements needed in reading the pdf for the user.

    1: need a more sophisticated voice along with proper pronunciation. example
    for 'putaway' the voice is reading as 'peu- t-away'

    2: more flexibility in reading the content. like reading the selected part.

    3: better options in controlling the speed

    4: when highlighting the sentences. it is very difficult to select the sentence to make the system to read the concerned paragraph

    5: I dont understand why space bar is used to scroll down the page .. accidental tapping of space bar, makes annoying disturbance while reading.

    6: more improvement in setting the dark theme. and should be given quick access to such settings

    7: auto-save is not available.

    8: overall average feelings while using this app

    please consider the feedback seriously and give corrections in upcoming updates

11. Fix the extreme memory and CPU usage

    I am using Adobe Reader 2024.002.20759. Last week during the night when I was not using the computer, it ate all the available memory causing itself and other programs to crash. Today I noticed some high CPU usage (about 15%) by the Reader without me doing anything inside. It had also eaten 4GB of memory. I closed one document and the CPU usage fell to 0%. I closed all open documents but the memory was not released. I restarted Reader and reopened all previous documents, did some search and scrolled through them. No high CPU usage and the memory used is only about 500MB but keeps rising while I type this. Can you fix the program at least to not eat memory and CPU while being inactive?

12. Multiple signature lines in a single document

    I sign many documents that have multiple signature lines throughout the document. I read the first section and click sign ... no problems (#1). Then I read the second section. Once I'm comfortable with the text, I click to sign (#2) and it moves me back to my previous signature (#1). I have to scroll back down to the second signature line again and click to sign it again (my previous attempt did not sign, it just moved me backwards in the document). I spent an hour on the phone with support and they said the feature is only meant to be used where you use the "next" button to get to the next signature line. But then I'm signing without ever having read the document I'm signing (I like to know what I'm signing!). This issue happens roughly every other time I click "sign" so it doesn't seem like it's working the way it was intended. Very annoying.

13. Attached Document Viewer

    When reviewing documents in Adobe I often am referencing another document that was attached to the primary file.

    The feature that I would like added is the ability to view the attached documents of the primary document. Currently, adobe has the ability to show a list view of the attached documents but not a way to see them in the same window. I personally, don't need a bunch of additional tabs in adobe populating when I just need to reference them.

    While previewing the attached document the following standard functions should be available to the user:

    1. Ability to zoom in and out.
    2. Ability to rotate orientation of attached document
    3. Ability to scroll through all attached documents
    4. Ability to make comments on primary document, showing a reference to the attached document. (When user2 views comment on primary document and clicks the reference to the attached document, it opens in this preview concept)
    5. Ability to set this concept to default

    Extras:
    1. Form field entries
    2. Signatures (initials, certificate, image signatures)
    3. Saving changes from the Preview Concept.

14. Labelling (Custom tagging) PDFs

    Starring PDFs is great but, you usually star PDFs that you use ALL the time and that you want to have displayed at the top of the Home tab. But what if you don't want to have them displayed up at the top but you want to have them in a place where the rest of the similar PDFs are, that's where a very useful feature called "Labeling" that would be great to have in Acrobat comes into play. It would be the ability to make custom labels (e.g. School or Work, or ProjectX) for PDFs so you could have them all in one place. I'm currently working on a university project and there are lots of PDFs I use frequently so if I could add a custom label for them all, let's say, "Current project" and then have access to them instead of having to scroll through the recently used PDFs on the Home tab. I've attached the picture of how I thought it could be added.

15. Thumbnail Selection Too Difficult - Extraction Issue

    When using the side panel for thumbnails, clicking anywhere on the thumbnail is like a soft select, you have to click the little box or else if you scroll the document your selection disappears. if you select anywhere else on the thumbnail, it's also very difficult to see what is selected.

    Then when you drag the selection to extract, it unselects the page you dragged it from so when you want to delete the selected pages after you extracted them, that page is left hanging around.

    You should be able to select the thumbnail like in the old adobe, by clicking anywhere on the thumbnail. And after dragging it out to extract you should be able to just delete the entire selection.

    Lastly, in order to rearrange pages, you have to select the little thumbnail box instead of being able to just grab and move the selected thumbnail. Very time-consuming for rearranging pages.

16. Make this report section usable by allowing SEARCH and offering heading summary

    Duh is this Nov 2019? Why can't I search both titles only and entire text for all requests? Does Adobe seriously want/expect users and moderators to scan FORTY-FIVE (45) pages of a forum to weed out duplicate requests ?? .... I certianly do NOT want to put in a NEW request for something that's already in the count. WORSE YET, if the same concept is entered 4 times as 5 + 3 + 2 + 10 votes, then Adobe will surely not value that as 20 VOTES and will probably NOT fix it !!! Another dis-service to the users, especially the ones who care enough to use this forum.

    UPDATE ... hidden under "Become an Insider" and without any obvious markings, I ACCIDENTALLY scrolled to the BOTTOM of a non-visible portion and found the SEARCH icon quasi-hidden above the "give feedback" box. Well, I tried it. Helps A LITTLE BIT ... but still too hard to get a quick overview and it is certainly not complete because different users may phrase things slightly differently. === > Please at least move the SEARCH box to the top right, which is a customary location nowadays --- NOT OFF THE SCREEN !!!!

17. Bug when searching words with search.query() from JavaScript

    I found a fatal language-dependent bug in advanced search.

    Using "Advanced Find" to find words in a PDF, actions that could be done manually did not work in Javascript.
    Write a sample script below.
    Create a file in UTF-8 .js file format and place the file in "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat DC\Acrobat\Javascripts".

    Using "Advanced Find" to find words in a PDF, actions that could be done manually did not work in Javascript.

18. BUG - Ruler not correct on external monitor & Weird lines in the ruler

    I have three screens in my computer set up, and I have never had a problem with the scale of the rulers, but now the documents ruler are off on some of the screens. The ruler is really important to making sure my document is printable, and it's really hard when the ruler isn't working.

    Examples:
    Document 1 is 8.75x11.5, on my laptop screen the ruler reads correctly, but if I move it to another screen it shows 8x7. The document properties always read the correct size.

    Document 2 is 8.5x11. The ruler reads correctly when it's open on my external monitors, but reads incorrectly on the laptop (10.5x13.75*)

    I have opened multiple documents and on some the ruler reads correctly on the laptop, and on others the external, but none of them read correctly on both.

    • An ADDITIONAL ruler bug is that weird lines are showing up in my ruler as I scroll across the screen (without clicking on anything). Shortly, you can't even see the ruler. Which is WORSE than the ruler being wrong (who cares if it's wrong if I can't even see it).

    I have a huge project I'm working on and it is taking me FOREVER because of the ruler glitches. It's super frustrating and would love if this could be corrected ASAP.

    I have tried unloading and redownloading the app, and using different computers. Same issue on each one.

19. Mouse wheel movement of page preview slider in print dialog does not update the page unless you click on the slider after moving it.

    When moving the slider on the page display in the print dialog box, changing its value updates the preview image. This includes using keyboard left and right keys, clicking on it, dragging the slider, and the left and right buttons to the left and right of the slider.

    Except, if it is selected and moved with the mousewheel, it does not update the preview. It does not also update the preview after a few seconds so I do not believe it is intended to specifically not update the preview in this case. Instead I believe this is a simple thing that was just overlooked.

    The unexpected behavior is that I can scroll between the pages, but then I have to click on the slider (doing nothing except selecting it) and then the page is updated. The expected behavior is that changing the slider value updates the displayed page without having to select the slider again with the mouse or keyboard.

    A picture is included that explains everything instantly. I believe this is not a complicated bug but it is a simple oversight. It may be related to Windows 11 and the mousewheel slider change event is different on native forms. It would also be easy to overlook in the ui test environment and could simply have been unnoticed by developers.
