  1. BUG Report: "Fit Page" default option doesn't work under Preferences

    In the Preferences, under "Page Display", under "Default Layout and Zoom", under "zoom", your option of "Fit Page" doesn't work. This "Fit page" option is synonymous with the "Fit Height" option that is available through the Acrobat interface. This default option should open all PDF files as one-page per screen. This option used to work in the previous version of Acrobat, but the new version has a bug.
    Please fix the BUG. The Fit Page default option doesn't work.

  3. TOO SLOW

    THE SYSTEM IS WAY TOO SLOW. I DON'T KNOW WHAT HAS CHANGED BUT I REALLY DO TO ENJOY USING ADOBE, IF ANOTHER OPTION WAS GIVEN i WOULD USE ANOTHER SYSTEM. I DON'T LIKE THAT I PAY FOR SOMETHINGTHAT DOESN'T WORK.

  4. Amazing if Acrobat's AI assistant [Beta] could compare 2 PDFs

    Would love if AI assistant [beta] could compare the content of 2 PDFs and tell you how the content in one document relates to the other. It's doable in ChatGPT and Perplexity but it would be so helpful if this feature was native to Acrobat

  5. Compare Search Area

    We need an option to compare specific areas of two files.

    It is often the case that we have certain information in the two files which are known to change and we don't care about. We need to filter these out.

    We are only looking for changes in a certain area so the ability to change this search area would be extremely useful and with the added benefit that it would speed up the process too as not all of the files need to be compared.

  6. Please allow the quick tool bar to be moved to the top or bottom so it doesn't cover data on the document.

    Since we can only move the toolbar from the left to right, it blocks data on the document. Please allow it to be moved from top to bottom also.

  7. Signature not removable from the Fill & Sign tool

    Once I have uploaded the image of my signature in the Fill & Sign tool, it's not more possible to remove it. Clicking the "X" button doesn't work. I've closed and re-opened Adobe DC. I also tryed to reinstall it, but nothing.
    After reinstallation if I uload again an image in the fill&sign tool, it's not possible to remove it.

  8. Beeing able to print PDF with Acrobat

    Unable to print any PDF on any printer. Same error again and again : Cannot find pages…

    Tried anything. Select one page, actives pages etc…

    No way.

    Latest Adobe CC softwares and Mac system

     

     

    All these files print well with Aperçu

    To me Acrobat is totally useless.

    But maybe a genius has found the way to acdress this critical issue

  9. Why don't you inform your customers that Arabic is not supported when they buy or subscribe to your products?

    Arabic language is not supported, so OCR does not support arabic and exporting Arabic pdf files to other formats is not possible.

  10. A serious problem occured while Combining Files into a Single Single PDF

    One of my clinets had a very serious problem when combining files into a single PDF before optimizing the file to build a press-ready PDF.

    As you will see in the attached screenshots, while they were combining 256 pages of a book into a single PDF, the continuous tone image of page 239 appeared on both page 238 and 239. While the speech balloons are on their correct pages, the image on page 239 appeared on page 239 as well as page 238. The image on page 238 has been mysteriously replaced by the image on page 239.   11. Text entry (GER: Texteingabe) buggy [Reader]

    Bug: when adding text (Function [A]) in Reader 2024.002.20759, sometimes
    - the text becomes non-editable. Becomes editable again, if you add a new text field on the same page.
    - the text appears on random different pages
    - the text disappears.
    I started to use Reader again, because the added text is searchable, compared to a competitors free tool.
    But these bugs are really annoying.

    Another bug: sometimes the original text is not readable or completely disappears. If you mark / select it, it appears again.

    When adding new functions, pls make sure, the ones that work since 20 years,…

  12. text boxes not automatically adjusting

    I've noticed that when you send out a document to be filled and signed the text boxes do not enter onto a new line when the text reaches the end of the box but instead continues on the same line, off the page, so that you cannot read what everything that has been typed. This is a serious issue and, I would imagine, should be a fairly simple fix. Very irritating and potentially hindering to business.

  13. No floating bars in Read Mode, please!!!

    Whenever I move a mouse while in Read Mode, a floating navigation bar gets displayed near the bottom of the page obstructing the text. There is no way to get rid of it. Yes, clicking the last icon in that bar makes it disappear, but it also causes leaving the Read Mode and displaying huge useless side bars.

  14. Login to Multiple Devices using a single Adobe ID

    Please can you give us the option to login to multiple devices using a single Adobe ID.
    Currently our existing adobe ID can only login to two devices simultaneously, we have several users that requires to sign-in with more than two devices.

  15. legacy menu

    Legacy Menu reversion would be nice, there is too much change in the software now and for those of us that have been with Acrobat since the beginning, it is almost like learning a brand new program with the way it's being presented.
    Would be nice to have a choice of layout version.
    Also, having the software auto update without knowing the scope of what is being done, is not kosher. I wouldn't have updated the software to this version if I had known that this was being done. Just sayin.

  16. The new look is a nightmare

    The toolbar on the right is a horror show! I need full screen width. I want the old version or at least the option to set it up however I feel comfortable. Not forcing this nightmare.

  17. cropping spreads

    Long overdue: a quick click on a "page" that is actually a spread of two pages (two 8.5"x11" pages stuck together) where this click would crop the page in half, saving both sides as 8.5x11 pages in the correct order.

  18. Google Chrome Customer Service

    By default, the Chrome extension will open a new call screen so you can change your outgoing caller ID. It does not, however, instantly begin contacting the number. Go to Chrome Settings to enable automatic calling. Now, when you click on a number, click-to-call will initiate a call automatically.

  19. Programm ist langsam und hängt sich die dauernd auf

    Das Programm ist sehr langsam. Hängt sich andauernd auf. PDFs aus Mails zu öffnen dauert teils Minuten (andere Programme machen das in Sek.) Fehlermeldung siehe Anhang.

  20. STOP WITH ALL THE UNECESSARY CHANGES!!

    STOP...

    For hecks sake... what bright spark decided to change to everything on the user screen in Acrobat . Talk about pulling up a workflow with this sort of change! Do you realise what this does to entire organisations. I should be billing you for lost productivity due to this rubbish.

    There are things everywhere. Left Right, a fixed panel on the left I can't seem to get rid of and all this right in the middle of a major multi million dollar event planning and roll out.

    At least when you bought software outright you knew when you sat…
