OCR character conversionAdobe does not convert OCR characters when converting a PDF to a Word document. This is an important feature to many people. Other PDF software offers this. Adobe needs to realize the importance of this feature that has been offered for over a decade by other software companies. As Abbyy states "Optical Character Recognition, or OCR, is a technology that enables you to convert different types of documents, such as scanned paper documents, PDF files or images captured by a digital camera into editable and searchable data." If Abbyy can do it, why can't Adobe? I will have to use… 7 votes

Fill & Sign Signature Image is BlurryUsing the February 9th version of Adobe Acrobat DC, when I try to add a signature from image in Fill and Sign the image is pixelated and blurry. When I do this on the document cloud, the image is full resolution. Can you fix the bug on the Fill & Sign tool so that we can insert images as signatures at full resolution on the desktop app. 3 votesHi, Thanks for providing your feedback. Can you please provide the below details : 1. Was it working correctly before the Feb 9th Upgrade?
 2 Your OS details.
 3. What kind of image are you working on? Eg : PNG, BMP etc.
 4. It will be great if you can share a sample image with us.Regards,

Save Toolbar and Edit>Preference CustomizationsI spent several hours customizing my work space (toolbars and preferences). Unfortunately, I had to reinstall Acrobat Pro DC. To my dismay, once reinstalled all my customizations were gone and I had to redo them all. There should be a way to save all customizations and implement them should a reinstall be necessary. It would be nice to have them all in one file that could be stored either on my computer or in my cloud account. 2 votes

20.012.20043.3217 Acrobat Pro DC is painstakingly slowThe new updates have been doing only harm to the software. It has become painstakingly slow. I normally have 5-6 (min) PDFs open at all times and search through them for keywords. After the recent update, it has been very slow, sometimes showing results on blank pages, even though there is actual content. 12 votes

"Use Current Properties As New Defaults" needs to set defaults for all future doc form field properties. (this seems like a bug)I need to be able to set the default properties on form fields so that all form fields created in the future --- whether by me manually or automatically by way of Acrobat's Prepare Form > Scan feature --- reflect the "default" property settings, both in the current doc and in all future docs. Default means default. Let's review the current flow here: 1) I open a PDF doc that I want to convert to a fillable-form.
 2) I choose Tools --> Prepare Form
 3) I accept the option to scan for all form-field auto detection.
 4) All form fields…3 votes

Signing inEvery few days I have to sign into acrobat before continuing. It texts my phone and then I have to put my password in. Really? This is completely over the top and no other services do this. It is a waste of my time and really frustrating - can you let me know if there is a way to ensure I stay signed in please 2 votes

SORTABLE FILENAME TAB ORDERHaving to open many PDF files from a folder, and having to process each in file in its filename order, Acrobat does not group / sort the tabs in order. Selecting multiple files, will create the tabs in whatever order the program wants. The tabs have to be dragged into order manually. This is a constant gripe with the software. A simple button to sort the tabs by file name, ascending or descending, would make life a lot easier and quicker when having to work on hundreds of files a day. 1 vote

Mouse wheel scrolls documents faster than trackpad on macOSSteps to reproduce the issue: Open a PDF file in single-page continuous layout. Connect an external mouse. Compare scrolling the PDF with an external mouse and with the built-in trackpad. Environment: Acrobat Pro DC 2021.001.20145 on macOS 11.2.3 in MacBook Air (Retina, 13-inch, 2020). External mouse: Logitech M720 Triathlon. Smooth scrolling is enabled. Expected result: Scrolling with the scroll wheel on an external mouse should scroll the PDF as smoothly as scrolling with the built-in trackpad. Observed result: Scrolling with the scroll wheel on an external mouse scrolls the PDF too quickly compared to smoother scrolling using the built-in trackpad. 2 votes

Multiple Activation'sCurrently, licensed users are limited to only having 2 instances of a product active at any time. Now that users have multiple devices they need to have the product activated on, 2 is no longer enough. Please can you give us the option to increase the number of computers a license can activate by either creating a more expensive "plus" version or allow us to assign multiple licenses to a single user account. 14 votes

Change color tool for a line should automaticaly switch to Borders not FillsOpening the Change color drawing tool when a line is selected should switch to Borders as Fills color does nothing for a line. Better yet, show both border and line color options in one window instead of requiring switching tabs. 2 votes

Quick Tools overflow menuSome tools are not usable when accessed from the overflow ("meatballs") menu of the Quick Tools toolbar. Tools such as Change color, Change line thickness, and Text Properties are not usable if they are in the overflow menu (because the window size is too small to fit all the Quick Tools). 2 votes

Adobe Acrobat DC 21.001.20155When PDF is double clicked Adobe will start and reopen all existing PDFs in new instance.
 The serialization should be on instance basis i.e. opening a PDF document should not open already opened files in another instance.1 vote
