Bug: Comment Sorting
When sorting comments by page, the location within columns is not taken into account. Instead, it is sorted by overall position on the page from top to bottom.
For example: A comment in the middle of column 1 will appear AFTER a comment at the top of column 2.
This should not be the case.

combine files
When attempting to combine three (one-page) PDF files, I'm encountering a bug where the first page gets duplicated three times. Instead of one document containing three unique pages from the three PDF files, I'm getting one document with three identical pages from PDF file #1.
I've never encountered this before.

Allow Guided Actions to run without needing to click Start and Done
You should be able to set per Guided Action if you want the Start and Done prompts to be displayed. They are VERY unproductive and completely unnecessary in my particular usage of the feature.

Log in Logs
Although we understand that the option to view login logs is currently unavailable, we would like to request this feature be considered for future enhancements.
Specifically, enabling login logs visibility for Admins—or alternatively, providing a mechanism to fetch these logs upon request—would be extremely helpful for investigations and security audits.
Such logs play a critical role in:Identifying login patterns and anomalies
Resolving access-related incidents efficiently
Strengthening enterprise security and compliance effortsImplementing this feature would greatly assist enterprise customers in maintaining robust security practices. Please let us know if this request can be forwarded to the relevant product team for consideration in upcoming updates.

Adobe Acrobat Edge Extension & Microsoft Purview Information Protection (MPIP)
Adobe Acrobat Edge Extension (v25.9.2.0) does not support rendering or decrypting PDFs protected by Microsoft Purview Information Protection (MPIP). This technology is the core component of sensitivity label encryption. When the extension is enabled and set as the default PDF handler in Edge, it overrides Edge’s native PDF viewer, which DOES support MPIP. The resulting behavior is a failure to load MPIP-protected content until the extension is effectively disabled.

Request for Optional OCR Prompt and Improved Performance When Using the Edit Tool in Acrobat
Dear Adobe Team,
I would like to raise a concern regarding the way Acrobat currently handles scanned sheet music when the Edit tool is selected.
At present, the software automatically performs a full-page scan and applies OCR, which results in the image being divided into multiple fragments. Unfortunately, these fragments are often slightly displaced from their original positions, making the score unusable.
This behaviour is problematic for users who work with scanned musical scores or other documents where precise visual alignment is essential. I kindly suggest that Acrobat be improved in one of the following ways:
• Allow users to configure in Preferences whether automatic OCR should be triggered when selecting the Edit tool.
• Alternatively, prompt the user each time the Edit tool is chosen, asking whether they wish to apply OCR to the entire document.
In addition, the waiting time during this automatic process is often excessively long, which severely disrupts efficient workflows. On some occasions, the programme even stops responding altogether. Addressing these performance issues would be just as important as providing users with more control over OCR behaviour.
Such improvements would give users greater flexibility, prevent unnecessary distortion of scanned materials, and ensure that Acrobat remains reliable for musicians, archivists, and others who depend on accurate scanned images.
Thank you very much for considering this request.
Kind regards,

Acrobat Output Preview panel behavior change: Simulation Profile changed appearance, now values
If I change the Simulation Preview profile in the Output Preview panel, it used to be that I would see my color simulated as if it printed/displayed in the other environment. Now, however, it's actually changing the color values to keep the same appearance. This is a bad idea. We need a way to turn this off or at least toggle it.
I'm currently seeing this behavior in the 2024 version. I'm not sure with which version this changed.
(Architecture: x86_64
Processor: Intel
Build: 24.4.20219.0
AGM: 7.1.8)When you open a PDF, the Output Preview panel defaults to your working color profile, either set in the Acrobat preferences or synchronized through Bridge. Unless of course, the PDF/X file had a specified Output Intent, where it will default to that Simulation Profile. The ink values in the Separations are consistent with the exported file.
I know I'm not imagining things, but it used to be when you changed to a different Simulation Profile, the view of that color breakdown would change, showing how that ink formula would appear in that other printing condition. All the numbers stayed the same, but their chromatic appearance on screen shifted to simulate the other condition. This is what (we assumed) this function was for.
Now it's behaving differently: now if you switch to a different Simulation Profile, the values of the inks change. The appearance stays the same, but all the ink numbers move. This is consistent with a conversion.
A similar behavior would be in InDesign, or Photoshop, with the difference between Assigning a color profile, or Converting to that same profile. One changes the appearance of those values, the other changes the values to preserve the appearance.
This new behavior is causing issues for us.
If I have a file I know is destined for a Fogra press, but was not output with an Output Intent specified, when I open it on my system, where my default CMYK profile is GRACoL 2013, that's the profile the Output Preview panel will display. When I change the Simulation Profile to Fogra 47, I get different CMYK values in the art. But I need to see the original values — in that other profile.
This is not how this panel is supposed to work — not how it's labeled, not how it used to work in the past. I am not converting the color — my printer is not converting the color. (Most of them will not accept a color-managed PDF.) They are plating the ink values I've given them. Is that not the purpose of the Simulation Profile, in the Output Preview panel?
Or someone tell me my memory is wrong, and this is some kind of Mandala effect, and this was always the behavior.
Is there some application preference or setting to revert to the previous behavior?
(I do not currently have an installation with an older version — 2021, 22 — to show screen shots of the different behavior.)

Produce a fully accessible, tagged PDF with alt text directly from a web page
Tagged PDF with alt-text is required under accessibility rules and many laws. When creating a PDF from a Webpage, using the Enhanced engine under the advanced options, the resulting PDF is untagged, and thus inaccessible. When using the Classic engine it results in a Tagged PDF, but Alt-text for images does not convert.
This means it is not possible to create an accessible Tagged PDF from a Webpage using the Adobe software.
My request is for a Create PDF from Webpage ability to produce a fully accessible, tagged PDF with alt text directly from a web page.1 vote -

Automatic page selection failed with Brother MFC-J6955DW Printer
The latest (late 2025) Acrobat print dialog promises to automatically select the paper tray based on the document size. I have a Brother MFC-J6955DW Printer with A3 paper in Tray 1 and A4 paper in Tray 2. Acrobat sends my A4 document to Tray 1, which the Brother printer is smart enough to reject. I can manually select Tray 2 and then print, but why advertise a feature that should easily work, that even my printer is smart enough to error check, yet does not work when it should? If you remove the feature, I wouldn't miss it. But a broken feature, without access to source code that could easily fix it, just ruins my day. Remember: the reason we have GNU Software is because Xerox couldn't be bothered to fix their own printer software. I'm glad we have GNU, but sad that Adobe is no better than Xerox was in the 1970s.

Kompaktmodus für Fensterbreite in Acrobat (mehrere PDFs nebeneinander)
Problem
Nutzen
• Effizienterer Vergleich mehrerer Dokumente.
• Bessere Nutzung von grossen/Ultra-Wide-Displays.
• Schont Workflows, die bis anhin mit 3–4 PDFs nebeneinander gearbeitet haben.Workarounds ausprobiert
Seitenleisten einklappen, mehrere Fenster statt Tabs, Zoom-Einstellungen, neue/alte Ansicht → keiner erlaubt eine wirklich schmale Fensterbreite.Umgebung
Windows 11, Acrobat 64-Bit (neue UI). Bitte optional auch für Reader.
Problem
In the current 64-bit version of Acrobat, the minimum window width is very large. This makes it impossible to place more than two PDFs side by side on one screen. For workflows that require 3–4 documents in parallel, this is a significant limitation.
Feature request
Please add a “Compact mode” or an option to reduce the minimum window width. Ideally as a preference (e.g., “Compact window width”) or a toggle that slims or fully hides the left/right panels.Value
• Faster comparison across multiple documents.
• Better use of wide/ultra-wide monitors.
• Restores productivity for users who used to work with 3–4 PDFs side by side.Tried workarounds
Collapsing sidebars, multiple windows instead of tabs, zoom options, new/old view → none allows a truly narrow window.Environment
