There is nothing in the Adobe Preferences that allows me to manage this. I read on one forum that I need to edit my registry entries for Adobe Browser settings. This is entirely unacceptable. I've unchecked the option in Preferences > General that has Acrobat Reader open pdfs automatically when they're downloaded in Chrome at least a dozen times (and saved the change), yet IT KEEPS DOING IT. Seriously, DO NOT EVER OPEN AUTOMATICALLY.
