Add a single-command function to create new layers for all pages in the same pdf file
ask for one single command to create new layer(s) on all pages for note taking purposes. easy to toggle between showing and hiding the notes.
Now users can only create new layer page by page by "importing layers" from files. Adobe should bring in the similar function available in Photoshop which allow users to create a blank layer(s) for all pages of a pdf file in a single command, and let users to enter notes, comments or other annotations on the selected layers. readers can then switch the layer between visible and hiding depending on the use scenario.

Give back the text box
I want the framed box back. I put all kinds of status notes on PDFs and with the true Text-Box I could see them when browsing in Explorer.
Hidden comments or hidden sticky notes are useless for this purpose.

Adobe Acrobat Pro (Ver 2022.001.20169) keeps giving me an error message saying that I have to select pages when I have already done so.
This error has happened before but then goes away after an Adobe update. I am using macOS ver 12.5. I have been using Adobe Acrobat for over 30 years,

Memory Leak in OCR feature
There seems to be a memory leak in the OCR feature. If you try to OCR a large (say 500+ page) scanned text my computer alerts that I've run out of application memory (see attached photo). This is bonkers and needs to be fixed! You've got to memcheck this or something...

Role Customization and additional Collaboration/Markup tools
We are currently in the process of modernizing our internal approval processes and have a number of forms that have been converted from excel worksheets into PDF forms. These forms when submitted, need to step through and be signed by a number of reviewers before final approval by the company Director.
Our process is very collaborative and quite often, signers/reviewers have additional information that needs to be added to the document as it passes through different departments.
With the way our forms currently work with Adobe Sign, whenever a change or addition needs to be made, the sender has to recreate the form and restart the e-signing process again. This is extremely inefficient.
I would find it hugely beneficial if there was an option in the form designer to flag form fields as collaborative so that reviewers are able to correct errors and add additional information before it reaches the final approver
Additionally, being able to assign fields to Approver and Reviewer roles would be extremely useful. Currently, Adobe Sign only has Sender and Signer roles which means that the form creator (Sender) has to do a lot of manual work in the form design step when preparing a document for e-signing.

I would like to be able to open Adobe DC Pro and it already be on the Tools tab instead of the Home tab.
I think this could be accomplished by having this as setting to give users a choice.

Increase "Split By" size limit
Currently you can only split a document by file size by a value between 0.5 and 50MB. Can this be increased to support file sizes such as 250MB?

Replace original file with optimize PDF
When a File is Optimized, the next thing to do is save it.
However the save operation is cumbersome and since the file in question being optimized is already a combination of other files and additional duplication not needed, the original file name and location is the desired saved to. Yet, Adobe ask for a new location and new file name for some strange reason. And while it is possible to select the original location and file to over write, that process is cumbersome.

Font glitch in combined pdfs
When combining multiple pdf documents, it's been found that if those documents were batch-converted from docx to pdf through Windows Explorer right-click 'Convert to PDF' option, combined as sub-sections/parts/chapters, then combined together again to generate a complete document, that the final compiled pdf document will generate numerous font glitches in specific font types.
While the first-stage pdf conversions & combine-as-pdf (step-1&2) appear normal, when the resulting pdfs are combined into a single pdf file (step-3), the font glitches occur. This may manifest of dropped letters, unexplained spacing, odd formatting, or otherwise unintelligible text. We noticed this in our section headers in bold text.
We have not tested this across all documents, fonts, or MS Word styles, but have found it to be true across multiple versions of Acrobat for a recent specification set. Interestingly, it did not happen at all project stages, but was an on-going issue at the deliverables stage for unknown reasons.
Work-around: Print step-2 combined pdfs prior to combining into whole document.

combining E Signed PDFs, You give an instruction message: Go To Settings to preserve the E-Signatures. Problem is, there is NO SETTING button or Option. Fix your message with the correct place to go. OR, How about this idea...Instead of the stupid message, give us a Box or link to click that actually IS the Settings Area or Fixes the issue you are describing.
