Split to top-level bookmark not working
Split to Top-Level Bookmark is not working in Acrobat DC. To "solve" the problem, the user has to uninstall Acrobat DC, then re-install. Now the process works, but only once. The user then has to repeat the uninstall / re-install process to use the feature again. Else, the user gets the error message "The file may be read-only, or another user may have it open. Please save the document with a different name or in a different folder." This feature MUST work without the user having to uninstall / reinstall Acrobat DC.

Bug Colour Management in Acrobat Pro DC
I am using Acrobat DC Pro Version 2021.007.20099.
My system details are CPU i9-10920x, GPU NVidia 3090 Studio driver 472.12, 256GB RAM, sveral m2 and SSD drives, Windows 10 Pro 21H1. I use two Eizo CS2721 monitors in 10 bit mode and both are calibrated and profiled using Eizo's colour navigator 7 software to produce v2 profiles.
The issue :
I create a document in InDesign including 3 placed images each based on the same image but converted and tagged with a different profile in Photoshop (ARGB,sRGB,ProPhoto) . All three, as expected, look identical on the InDesign page as they did in Photoshop and print direct from InDesign identically. So far so good - colour management is working correctly in In Design and Photoshop.
However, I then export from In Design to a PDF using "High Quality Print modified" to "Acrobat 8/9 PDF1.7" and with Colour Conversion set to "No Colour Conversion" and "Include All RGB and Tagged Source CMYK profiles".
If I view that exported PDF in Acrobat Pro DC, the three images still look the same as each other in the PDF, so the tagged image profiles are being used, but all three look oversaturated compared to the In Design and Photoshop display. By oversaturated it is like viewing untagged sRGB on a wide gamut monitor. Opening the same PDF in Photoshop or InDesign displays correctly.
As a test I set both monitors to use an incorrect (linear gamma) profile. Photoshop and InDesign now display incorrecty (as would be expected with such a widely incorrect monitor profile). Acrobat DC Pro displays the same oversaturated images as it did before - absolutely zero change despite the deliberately broken monitor profile. My conclusion - Acrobat DC Pro is ignoring the monitor profile and just assuming that the monitor is narrow gamut (close to sRGB).
I have uninstalled and re-installed Acrobat DC Pro - and it has not changed these results.

pdf signature fields for Adobe Sign
A suggestion for Adobe. It would be so great if pdf signature field properties could be configured to include the signatory's email address, or could be scripted to pull an email address entered in a text field in the same form, so that when the form is uploaded to Adobe Sign it already has signature fields with email addresses, and is ready to send for signatures. without having to type in email addresses and place signature fields. That would be a terrific option.

Redact overlay text does not persist
Redact overlay text does not persist when de-selecting overlay text option. As a user, I need to selectively replace text/other elements in the document with overlay text while also being able to selectively replace text/other elements in the document with a solid shape/box.
Additionally, as a user, I need to escape Acrobat's suggestion to redact text when Acrobat believes text to be present in the redaction area, as sometimes, there is no text in the redaction area, as Acrobat believes.
Redaction preferences should persist across program sessions or at least be possible to save.

Accessibility and Reflow setting causes omitted content
In recent versions of Word (say the last 6 months), the option "Enable Accessibility and Reflow with tagged Adobe PDF" causes text to be omitted from paragraphs that contain inline images (so obviously it can't be enabled when creating PDFs).
Disabling the feature in the global settings causes the plugin to crash frequently. Disabling through the "Options" dialog in the "Save Adobe PDF File As" dialog avoids the crashing behavior ¯_(ツ)_/¯.
However, confirming a change in that "Options" dialog causes the plugin to ignore the global per-style bookmark inclusion settings (overwriting them with "Include all" or so).
All this together makes controlling the output of moderately complex documents extremely irritating. Of course unwanted bookmarks can be manually deleted, but this is not an ideal way to specify the contents of the pdf.
Very simple example attached, along with an apparently correctly tagged pdf generated using the built in pdf features in Office.

Sticky Note code not congruent
I have moved my files around from Adobe Pro, Reader, online access etc.
There is a coding issue where the sticky notes do not integrate correctly.
Not sure where the bug is but as illustrated in the snip below, my file saved to the cloud has 2 different types of notes.
When one hovers over the upper the text of the note is not automatically enlarged.1 vote -
PDF File Type in File Properties Window, File Previews, Ink Coverage Settings
So, Bridge is (probably) falsely claiming that a PDF is RGB... I also have others that are showing as "untagged". I really want that they all show as CYMK, since these are print files.
I've been told that Bridge is lying to me... But I cannot find any easy way to simply check what color space my PDFs are in. Adobe Acrobat only has the Info panel, and Preflight... both are just not what I am looking for. At least the Info panel shows the ICC profile... but sometimes that is just a "target profile" and I don't know what that means.
So, what I really want is that Windows and OSX, etc. shows the appropriate document info in Finder in the File Properties Window.
Ideally something like:
- PDF name
- PDF creation date
- PDF last modifcation date
- PDF standard
- PDF color mode
- PDF ICC profile (embedded or target, etc.)
- PDF resolution
- PDF file size
- PDF creator
- PDF locked / password status, etc.
- PDF copyright statusYeah, all those things that would make a lot of sense! - And in the best case there would be a nice way to edit / automatically fill some of that metadata while saving out new PDFs (copyright stuff)
If this isn't possible in Windows or whatnot, then please make it happen in Bridge and Adobe Acrobat/ in Adobe menus. Because right now I find it way too hard to know what I am looking at.
Also overprint - getting to 240% ink coverage. From what I can tell, there is no way to do this easily or well. Can we add a PDF Preflight setting for this that actually works and doesn't totally ***** the colors? Possibly with some kind of fine-tuning curve and color adjustment in the dialog window with a live preview of the overprint, similar to what you can see in InDesign / currently in Acrobat?
And last but not least, I want to see previews of Adobe documents in Windows and cloud drives, etc. I know this probably requires working with some partners, but we all want this very badly....

Modify/Delete Portfolio Metadata
It does not seem possible to edit Portfolio's metadata it gathers when converting outlook PST files. The From, To, CC, and BCC fields may contain confidential email addresses under Texas law, and there does not appear to be a way to remove/edit/redact that metadata. Currently, we must extract the PDFs from Portfolio and then re-combine them. However, when doing so, we lose the order of the emails unless more manual labor is used, since the date of each email is also lost. Being able to remove/edit/redact confidential email addresses would make a huge positive impact on governmental entities being able to appropriately comply with our public information laws.
