Provide all installs via flat pkg's and stop using DMG's within the install process, specifically within CCDA
Please stop using DMG's directly or indirectly within the install process. This is particularly important in CCDA where DMG's are used and we have no ability to amend this workflow.

Acrobat Pro Bug - Target Folder error message when Splitting by Bookmark
Acrobat Pro DC Bug (version 21.007 using Windows 10)
This is a new bug, so suggests it relates to a recent update.
When Splitting a PDF file via Top Level Bookmark.
You receive the following error message (see screenshot)."The file may be read-only, or another user may have it open. Please save the document with a different file name or in a different folder".
Trying either of the above suggestions will not work and you continue to receive the same error message when attempting to split the file.
The only way to get around this, is to manually select 'A Folder on My Computer' under the splitter Output Options menu. You can actually select the same folder which the original file is in and it works fine, which is odd as this is the same end result as the default selection (The Same Folder Selected at Start) which prompts the error message.
The error message appears with all my PDF files and colleagues, both desktop and server based. As mentioned it use to work fine so possible recent Acrobat Pro update bug.

customize menu
The uselessness of the chopped up methodology to customize the quick menu is ridiculous. It would be much simpler if you adopted a process similar to that in Excel. Just where the h3ll is the zoom icon hiding.

notify user if file is already in use
Prompt or notify user if a PDF file is already open. Currently the file just opens and locks both users from being able to save the file.

Print Thin Lines
There is a button in Adobe Acrobat Pro that allows toggling thin line weights as shown on the screen on and off but there is now way to get the document to print with thin lines. This is true of both PDF and physical printers. This can make working with and sharing readable engineered drawings difficult. Please follow up on this regardless of vote count! If you need to gauge interest in this request you should search "how to print thin lines in Adobe Acrobat" and easily see that this improvement would be widely appreciated. Adobe has obviously realized the value of being able to view documents with their intended line weights, hence the existence of the toggle button. Now just make the print function use the current state of the existing line weight toggle button to decide how to print the line weights! Just like good ol' WYSIWYG ! It is obvious that relatively few users take the time to access or even know about the existence of this feature request page. Even if they did the functionality for searching for previous requests that match your own is not very effective so how to you expect important request to gather votes? Thank you for your attention to this critical feature update. Please help make the costly Acrobat Pro the only PDF software I need to accomplish my tasks.

Grey page when trying to digitally sign a document
I open my PDF file and when I try to digitally sign it the program asks me to draw the space where I want my signature and then it turns this grey colour, as if something should have popped up but it didn't. It's vital that I can digitally sign documents. Thanks for your help.

Split by page range
10-14, 96-103, 108-115, 127-135, 146-153 It would be helpful if we could split pdf with page range like above. It will create separate pdf for every page range. This feature is available in Nitro pdf. Foxit users also can do this with extract feature. Please consider this feature .

Cloud-PDF-Editor deletes previous entries with new entries
Hello,
I have the following problem ...
We open the PDF files via Sharepoint, then a file is opened online via the Adobe Document Cloud.
These can then be edited and saved there.
Now we come to the problem.
If you edit a PDF file and edit it with the couser (mouse) it works and there is no problem.
But if you edit the file with your finger or the pen and write things into it, the written thing disappears a short time afterwards. But only if you put the pen down and then write something new, the previous one disappears.
If you save the file and then open it again, everything that has been written is there.
So it can be summarized that if you make an input with the pen or your finger (touchpad on the Surface), it disappears immediately but is there again when you open it again.
If you paint directly with the mouse, this doesn't happen.
Greetings
Marcel Klappert

Pencil to be smoother, eraser to be accurate
Inspite of adobe being the inventor of the pdf format, it doesn't seem to have smooth freehand pencil tool. The current pencil tool is quite unresponsive & sometimes lags in places like dots, small dashes etc.(unlike Microsoft Edge PDF viewer(its that smooth👌), & the eraser, oh my god, it clears away dashes & dots in all the places in the page, but doesn't seem to clear the mark in front of it completely .
Please work on these issues, it restricts your subscribers from a complete PDF commenting experience, many of my friends & others have started using different viewers because of this.

Adobe has to share their information about updates with third-party before updating automatically
Before an update is rolled out, third-party providers, e.g. for plugins, must be informed in advance about the content of the update so that there can't be any production downtimes!

Need a tool to translate web pages in languages other than English.
It would be much easier to have a translate tool in Acrobat than to take the downloaded page into Firefox, translate it, then pull it back into Acrobat.

Delete shows up as an insert/text replacement
I use the backspace key in commenting to strike thru text. Sometimes when I do this, the strike-thru shows up as a blue line and it is connected to a previous insertion. I can get it to work if I click on the strikethru text icon on the toolbar, but I'd rather it work when I use the keyboard shortcut.
In the attached file, you can see where two sets of text are connected to the same insertion, making it hard to tell where I want text replaced.

Visibility of Adobe Acrobat Pro\DC usage
Its very useful to know who has been using the Adobe products within the last 90 days. This way we can swap licenses around when needed.
A feature to show what users have used Adobe Pro or DC would be beneficial to support teams within the portal.

Make the save button available even if no change to the document
Part of our workflow is to save pdfs even if there is no change so that it updates the file modified date. Currently we have to make a small undesired change to make save available.

light blue background in fields buttons etc
When a PDF form is seen on line or in a web browser there is a light blue background in fields , buttons etc. For what I use PDFs for (educational material ) it makes them unusable online which is a shame. It would be nice to disable this feature so that this is not seen

I added form fields (including a signature field) to a PDF, using Acrobat DC. Now, when users try to fill and sign the form using Reader, they get an error message reading, "The operation failed because Adobe Acrobat encountered an unknown error." They are unable to save a signature onto the document.
Not the most helpful of error messages. How can I avoid users getting this error?1 vote -
Acrobat (and all derivative applications) should have a file Refresh/Reload command & shortcut
Acrobat (and all its derivatives & applications) desperately need a "Reload" or "Refresh" command for the currently selected .PDF document. Not only may the document have changed without notice on the server without a semaphore lock on the file, but also Acrobat applications can and do frequently run into some kind of file reading problem, such as temporarily disconnected server, timed-out internet connection, corrupted connection, or not enough memory at the moment. Who knows why these issues weren't accounted for in Acrobat's development, but because of these issues, it seems very short-sighted from the development side to not have included a simple way to refresh/reload the currently selected document. Further, the 'recent files' list does not seem to update to include the currently selected file when such an issue occurs; so, it's doubly frustrating because the user can not simply close & reload the file from the 'recent files' list -- instead, the user often has to go through the potentially long file locating navigation process all over again. Please add a File>>Reload/Refresh command with a hot-key shortcut.

Redact financial figures
I was just trying to redact a 300-page PDF with nearly 3,000 financial figures all starting with "$" but there is no way to redact that automatically. I'd have to go select each one individually which would take much too long. I can "search and redact" for all instances of "$" but it only highlights that symbol for redaction, not all of the numbers that follow. It seems like there should be a way to auto redact financial figures and maybe even percentages.
