Comment display filtering to hide unwanted items could be simpler. Also, a filtering in progress indicator is needed
A file may have many types of comments, many colors, many authors, etc. If one wants to hide only one variety (e.g., the color red), one has to select all but the red dot and then press the Apply button for the filtered selections.
This would be simpler if one could select only the red dot and press a new Exclude button/function. Further, Apply and Exclude could be combined to mimic an electrical (ON | OFF) switch. For very large files with many comments, filtering consumes a lot of time. For shared files on servers, the time is magnified by the back and forth between the server and the user's pc. It would be useful to have an in progress indication that shows filtering activity or the lack thereof.

Constantly Requiring Sign In
Why in the actual **** do I have to sign into Adobe a) every time I open it, b) multiple times throughout the day, c) when I've been working in it and suddenly I have to sign in again. It is THE MOST ANNOYING thing ever, especially when in a meeting or on a call and need to pull up a PDF just to have to sign in. I don't understand why I have to sign in every day but I could excuse it. What I don't excuse is having to do it multiple times a day. Infuriating.

Form filling via Python libraries
Adobe Customer Care recommended I post the request here. It might not be a problem with Acrobat per se, but a lot of people seem to have the same problem. Standard Python libraries for automating the filling of fields work fine--when the pdf is opened with some other viewers. But in Acrobat the field content does not display until the field is clicked. Marked checkboxes are also not displaying. The issue is explained partly at the links below, but solutions do not seem to be reliable:

When PDF thumbnails are enabled in Acrobat DC, Explorer starts crashing in Windows 10.
This is a bug report. It starts as soon as you enable thumbnails in Acrobat DC (or earlier also). Explorer.exe starts crashing. Screenshot attached. Removing thumbnails fixes the issue.

Scanning UI Flow
When scanning multiple pages, there should be another confirmation dialog after selecting 'Scan more pages (sheet n)' because it is unclear that the next page should be ready for scan before clicking the 'OK' button.

Auro save? Is it that hard?
Is it really that hard to auto save PDFs? It's ridiculous that in 2020 my PDFs don't save to original documents as I work. Thanks for wasting my time and losing hours of work.

All Signature options disabled on Acrobat Pro DC
All acrobat signing features were disabled on my Acrobat Pro DC, I have looked for a solution online, followed multiple suggestions but nothing worked, today a support agent was able to solve the issue after multiple trials, he was able solve it by simply changing the language to English US.

Allow users to configure the tools that they use, a custom menu.
If I open the comment bar, leave it open until I close it. Why would you think you need to decide when to close a toolbar? If I open it, and close Adobe, I expect it to be visible when I open Adobe the next time. I expect it to be open until I specifically close it. Why would I want to constantly open the only menu I use for 99.99999999% of my menu use in Adobe? And update the time and date on dynamic stamps when I select to insert them again with the "K" keyboard shortcut.

Adobe Pro 2017 crashes when opening
When I first open Adobe Acrobat 2017, the PDF reader closes itself within 15-30 seconds. Sometimes it happens a second time after opening the same file. Usually it will stay open the third time on that document. When I open a separate file, the crashing happens all over again. I checked for updates and the software says it is up-to-date (17.011.30194). It is so frustrating as I am trying to work on various documents and it crashes like this. I expect more. Please resolve this ASAP!

Mark up options
Further to highlighting /marking text without a comment, could you please do the same for the shapes and lines, sometimes i just want to add a rectangle or circle without adding a comment.

Get rid of the home page or at lease make it optional in preferances.
Make it an option in the preferences to have the home page not appear. I believe it is universally hated by most of your users, including me. It's incredibly frustrating.

Extend recently used folders (not files)
On Acrobat's Home page, selecting "My Computer" shows the 5 most recently used folders. It would be more helpful if this was doubled to 10.

Highlighter opacity setting has no effect on image highlight (freehand)
The highlighter opacity setting only applies to text highlight, and has no effect on image/freehand highlight (which appears to be equivalent to "100% opacity" setting (not actually 100% as you can see through it - which is ok).

Make the Print dialog box simpler
The print dialog is too complicated. Please go back to using the platform dialog, and allow users to choose the advanced features if needed. There's way too much information to wade through.
I'm using Acrobat Pro 2020, but it was the same with the free version. On a Mac.
thanks

Edit text in document that has been deskewed
Working with a document and need to 1) deskew 2) despeckle and 3) edit text. 1) Optimized with quality set to high, optimize images only if there is a reduction in size set to off, and object compression option set to retain existing; this straightened the document. 2) Used redact set to white fill no border to remove larger specks. 3) chose edit text and the document became skewed again! There is no reason for taking a tool that worked well to clean up scans in previous versions and making it impossible to use. Adobe is costing us more than before and giving far less in return.

Microsoft Outlook for Mac - Convert to Adobe PDF Plugin
The Acrobat Plugin for Microsoft Outlook on Windows, which enables Users to create an Adobe PDF Portfolio from any Mailbox or Folder while preserving the "From", "Subject" and "Date" fields while also embedding all attachments, is an INCREDIBLY powerful feature that is crucial to many of our business practices. Unfortunately, at this time, this feature is only available on the Windows version of Microsoft Outlook, thus forcing me to run a Windows 10 Virtual Machine explicitly to perform this task. If the Adobe team could implement this feature on macOS versions of Microsoft Outlook, I would be incredibly grateful as a long-time Adobe User. Thank you for all of your efforts, and if you require any clarification or details regarding my request, please don't hesitate to reach out to me. As always, I appreciate your time and consideration.
