Add Text Tool
I am currently in graduate school. I use adobe acrobat pro DC all the time to convert my classes powerpoints into pdfs. Once they are formatted as a pdf, I can take notes on them, and it sticks.
I just realized I have been doing it wrong. I have been using the Add Text option, an option within the fill & sign tool. While this has been most effective in taking notes on powerpoints and helping me study, there have been many issues with it.
The fill & sign tool is not made for quick note taking and texts. Adobe Acrobat DC should create an Add Text Tool that is separate from the one found within the fill & sign. An add text tool that can allow you to jot notes down on a document with ease and efficiency. That would resolve my issues of my text just freezing, then "disappearing", and to only end up in another part of the document I am working on. And, I think many people could benefit from this tool.I am currently in graduate school. I use adobe acrobat pro DC all the time to convert my classes powerpoints into pdfs. REDACT
The redact feature is really buggy, I was trying to redact text but the overlay text even set really small would go into two lines rather than one word and to select the redact paragraph was not user friendly. I instead just redacted it with the overlay white cover and then used the comment feature and wrote in redact

Adobe Fonts from Creative Cloud not accessible in Acrobat DC Pro
I am having the same issue as described in this 'Resolved' post, except that the issue has not been resolved:
Namely, I have 'activated' Adobe Fonts through Creative Cloud, but I can't get it to show in Adobe Acrobat DC Pro.
In the 'resolved' post, the 'solution' was a series of Microsoft links that only explain how to install fonts when you have a specific font file on your machine.
However we are talking about Adobe Fonts through creative cloud, there is no font file to use as per the link instructions. (This appears to be an Adobe issue, not a Microsoft/windows issues.)
Specifically, I 'activated' the Adobe Font Robota family (12 fonts) in Creative Cloud and it is showing up in Creative Cloud. However in Adobe Acrobat, there is only a single font "Robota" added and it won't let me edit text embedded as Robota (regular), Robota Italic, or any of the specific 12 individual fonts.

document cloud progress bar
While there are increasing numbers on symmetrical highspeed circuits there are still those of us who utilize a lower speed and asymmetrical connections (ADSL, fixed wireless, etc). Watching a circle spin and having to continually check back for for 30-45 min as a document uploads is not overly helpful. A progress bar showing a percentage or even a simple "x of y Kb" uploaded would be a vast improvement over the current situation. For a bit of reference 50 miles west of the US Capitol building in Washington DC our best ADSL speed is 7M/0.6M and fixed wireless speed is 10M/2M.

Enable width reduction of "output preview" window
The output preview ("op") window has a standard width that can not be underrun. As the window is very big, it would help if you could narrow the window more than it is possible at the moment. Therefore you would have more space on the monitor for your document itself. In my case with my older monitor, the window uses nearly one-third of the space of the whole screen and annoys me very often.

Multiple Windows each with separate Tabs in Mac OS
Since Christmas is coming, this is my wish.
I work in Acrobat DC Pro daily for multiple projects. Each project has multiple PDF files.
I use tabs within a Window. So my "Open Documents as new tabs in the same Window" is selected.
What I wish for is to be able to have TWO Adobe windows open, each with their own tabbed PDF files. Thus, I would be able to have one project window open and have tab access for all PDFs for that project. The second Acrobat window would have a second set of PDFs, all listed in the tab ribbon.
Another variation of this would be to have nested tabs. This would allow me to drag PDF tabs onto one tab and the PDFs would then be in a dropdown list associated with the tab.
Crazy? Maybe. But I think this feature would greatly help workflow when working with many PDFs in different projects.
BTW: This is what I do with Safari. Two windows, multiple tabs. You can see this feature at work in Safari if you open a New Window.
PS:My life would be very different if I didn't have your excellent software suite. Great Job!

Extracting pages and keeping the file names.
At my previous place of employment, we had BlueBeam to manipulate Construction Drawings. This is powerful PDF software.
We used BlueBeam to create Page Labels from different methods. The most common method, "REGION". By Region you highlight anywhere in the drawing, select the region on where do you want to extract the name/text from, in my case, the Title Sheet and Number.
From there, we would extract the pages and keep the Page Labels and then we had all files individually extracted.
For example:A1.0 - Floor Plans
A1.1 - Enlarged Queen Studio
A5.0 - Typical UnitsThe Region method, allowed us to select multiple region from the same page in order to build our files.
IT would be beneficial for ADOBE to implement something like this.

Adobe CC Photography Plan interferes with existing Acrobat installation
I have a fully licensed and paid-for Acrobat DC 2015 program. The Adobe CC Photography plan has installed an 'update' that prevents me from using the program unless I pay $20 a month for a subscription to the new program. I have already paid for what I have and it satisfies my requirement once every few months to re-order pages in an Acrobat document. How can I get my paid-foir program back?

Give option to turn off "reopen closed PDFs" prompt
The blue prompt box that says "Your last session ended abruptly. Click here to reopen the PDFs from the last session." comes up whenever I have closed a PDF and reopen another, regardless of how long it was open, how much of it I scrolled through, etc. It is driving me bonkers. Please add an option to turn the prompt off. If I had closed it by accident I would just reopen the file directly, I don't need to be prompted by the viewing program.

Bring Back Real Deskew
I work a lot with 2-bit (black/white) files of music scores. Since there is not a lot of text, the OCR-based deskew doesn't always work. In the current version of Acrobat DC there is NO incremental rotate, and if you use the "Edit Using" function to get to Photoshop, the Arbitrary rotation functionality is unavailable. This means there is CURRENTLY NO WAY TO DESKEW MUSIC using any combination of Adobe products. This is a bug that needs to be fixed.

Active tab display
When there are multiple PDFs open, it is difficult to tell which one is the active tab. I suggest a Preference option to use a different color for the active tab or have Acrobat do this by default; I doubt anyone would complain.
