Easy sign for PDFs
On PDF files that use basic fillable text boxes, it would be great to have a feature where if you just right click, you could add a digital signature, or to be able to add a digital signature to any fillable text boxes without so many steps. You can edit a PDF to add a signature line, but sometimes others created fillable forms besides you. It also may be helpful to control the option on being able to sign things and send to yourself, because at times one might want to sign something and then send on to others.

RE-apply comment filters
I realized today than in acrobat, there is no re-apply or update for the filter on the comments section. I do book editing and things and spend quite a bit of time unsetting and reseting the filter since I get sent 500-1200 edits per document I receive. I would expect to press filer and then to have the option to 'reapply' or 'update' the filter since it isn't a live filter -- which would also be awesome but either would solve the issue I run into.

When it works please leave it alone.
Acrobat just updated and now I have no control over the creation of fields in forms as it constantly defaults to auto fill. What a mess and right on deadline! Please a simple button which turns this on or off, with the default to off as auto still only does half the job and now I find I can't over ride it...even in the preferences forms section...I am not a happy user!

restrict copy of pdf file
dear adobe developer,
In pandemic times, it is necessary to make PDF documents even more secure, taking into account that people are avoiding using printed paper instead of the PDF file. It is necessary to create tools that make it impossible for people to copy, share documents.
I look forward to returning if possible.

Coloured background bookmarks
The bookmark tool only allows you to change the colourt of the text and not the background colour.
It would be useful to be able to have say yellow tabs with black text
It would be useful to have simple coloured bookmarks which operate like coloured tabs in level arch files. These can mark out a particular top eg jet engine fan blade orders
In addition these can be nested sorted/arranged if necessary with secondary labels/hidden text which appears when you hover over them.

Form entry removes leading zero on number fields
Acrobat Pro DC 2020.006.20034, Entering a number in the Maryland application form for absentee ballot, a four digit field removes the leading 0. This leading 0 is necessary. I have fiddled with properties some but I will have to print the form and fill that in by hand.

sync loupe tool to update with page change
put a checkbox in the loupe tool to toggle the following of page changes.
while reviewing engineering drawings, all of the same format of media - usually ANSI B. Engineers, architects, cad people need to check for title block errors, flipping through every sheet, looking in the same relative area (in my case, the bottom right corner). I want to work in a full page window and then open the loupe to examine the desired area on each sheet. when i'm done reviewing a sheet, I down arrow to get the next full page. I want the loupe blowup content to follow to the next page content (when the toggle is checked), i.e., update to reveal the same area on the next page. right now when changing pages, the loupe view remains static.
I also want to retain the behavior of how it works now (while check box is toggled off) so it does NOT update with page change, for comparison sake, sheet to sheet.
I tried the spreadsheet split tool and it seemed uncontrollable for what i want. this is for paper-saving review process we do over and over again during the design process.
see attached, one png image to see what i want, one pdf to try doing it yourself.
thanks for consideration!

Flexible highlighting
1) When multiple overlapping or adjacent regions are highlighted the result should just be a single highlight over the union. This is how highlighting works in e.g. Kindle and Apple Books. A common workflow is to highlight an area, and then realize you made a mistake and wanted to highlight adjacent words. Right now this gives two overlapping highlighted regions with a darker shade on the overlap -- which is distracting, and it's highly unlikely that the user cared to generate two overlapping regions (and pretty unlikely the the user cared to create two adjacent but distinct regions).
2) I'd like to be able to easily select text which is a subset of a highlighted area. This actually impossible right now because the highlighted region is treated as a single selectable object, so if I click into it I can't select a portion of the text. Also if I wanted to copy out a span that is partially highlighted, I have to remember to start the selection outside the highlighted region, because clicking on the highlighted region doesn't put my into a text-selection state.
Overall you should simplify your highlighting UI -- just treat it as a flat annotation. Yes I need to be able to delete highlights, but I don't want them to become top-level entities that prevent normal text interaction and do not merge with each other (in the natural way that actual highlights in a printed book simply aggregate).

page count on combine files view
Display number of files (and number of pages total) about to be combined.
I can find out the page count after I've combined, but that is less useful because the deed is done.2 votes -

Turn off floating page overview
There is a new "feature" that pops up something that looks like a floating page thumbnail in the upper right corner of the document whenever I scroll with my mouse. Although there is a tiny X to close it, it's hard to get it to close and it doesn't stay closed. There doesn't appear to be any way to turn it off.
I'm not sure what the purpose of this feature is-- maybe it's useful for a touch screen (although I don't really see how), but it gets in the way when trying to read/edit an existing PDF. Specifically, when you open Find, the Find window opens in the exact same spot.
I would love for you to a) name this feature, and b) give the user the option to turn it off. It is totally useless when using a standard monitor/keyboard/mouse setup-- there are better ways to navigate a document.

Customer service
I am editing a 323 page book. Page numbers are a nightmare. Roman numerals are not available for the Preface. I cannot get Customer Service on the phone. I was on hold 28 minutes, then had to call Sale (which answered the phone) to route me to Customer Service. I have now been in hold for 23 minutes. Terrible customer service. I am paying for nothing .

annoying pop-ups in version 2019.012.20034
The issue is when users go to email a pdf, a new window pops up in the new 2019.012.20034 version, and blocks the view content of the pdf. This is creating unnecessary steps for users who send many PDFs to customers and need to see the PDF document to verify information. Scroll to the bottom to compare how the previous version allowed to still view the document. Please roll back to adobe acrobat reader 2019.010.20099 with no Pop-Ups!
