Second ID for Second Subscription
If a customer wants to purchase more than 1 subscription, they should not have to create a second email and sign in as a separate customer. In order to buy 2 subscriptions, I have to create a separate email, separate password, and sign in separately under a second Adobe ID.

Is there a way to just print your comments?
It would be nice to just be able to select to print only your comments and to be able to select to print only text that you have highlighted. This would be helpful when working with large documents.

Visibility of Adobe Acrobat's Updater
Please make the updater of Adobe Acrobat visible when it runs. Yesterday, I already begun to look for malware on my MacBook until I realized that it was simply the Acrobat Updater downloading and installing the newest update silently and invisibly in the background. Thank you.
3 votesHi,
Thanks for writing your concerns to Adobe. We try to apply updates in background so that it is less intrusive to users .
We will try to improve based on your inputs. -
Printer Message "Unable to convert PostScript File."
I get this when I try to print a pdf from my Mac using Mohave to an Epson 2650 printer. This also happened on occasion with Sierra. I have been having people fax me the documents but now it is becoming a real problem. I am doing what I've done for years, which is clicking the print icon within the pdf or using the printer from the Acrobat platform.
1 voteGreat to hear that!
We are closing this case from our end.
Thanks

Make a full automated converter
Comparing with other available toolkits, Adobe gives the best output in document conversion. Unfortunately, the team decided -for some reasons - to limit the automation capabilities of the software. A piece of advice from a machine learning/Natural Language Processing/Data science perspectives: you can do a lots more if you open on Big Data community. Companies have dumps of millions of PDF and receive a thousand of PDF each day. Unfortunately, they can do nothing with it because open source softwares are terrible ...... Big noisy Data isn't that useful in data science. An automated - highly parallelized - web service for converting PDF isn't a bad idea.
Until now I can't figure out why batch processing stop, the solution is not more complicated than:
error_list = []
for pdffile in todolist:
try: conver_pdf_to_word(pdf_file) # if an error occurs except: error_list.append(pdf_file) continue
print("Dear user those PDF causes some issues:")
for pdffile in errorlist:
print(pdf_file)
The following link:
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1c_coofphNstN7R5wJfnC__qvV6quuDiHcontains 50 PDFs that bugs and I wonder if you could fix those bugs and make batch processing never stop. In other words, the action wizard should skip all pop-up messages and avoid crashes. In the end, it can report those buggy PDFs that it previously skipped, because it's so annoying when you ran the wizard and came back after 4 hours expecting that it's over but it surprises you with a "click ok to continue"

Fill & Sign Missing Fill
The ability to add a date to my signature with Fill & Sign is a serious limitation (the document has active fields.) Blocking the "fill" may be "as designed", but the design is flawed because it prevents important functionality.

This is an As Designed feature. we have shared your feedback and will let you know in case we plan something for the future.

Chinese SM2 Digital Signature Algorithm
Adobe Acrobat / Reader currently does not support Chinese SM2 Digital Signature Algorithm.
Hope to support in the future.3 votes -
Recent files list / Way too sparse
New Acrobat DC recent files list wastes a lot of space. It's a list, the name entry includes a separate line just to say "PDF" which spaces apart the items unnecessarily. Just put that in a column (there's lots of wasted space there too).

Contextual Menu Needs Improvement
The contextual menu with Acrobat Pro DC leaves a lot to be desired. There is no option for underline. There is no obvious way to select what the user actually would like to have in the contextual menu as with other apps.

SIGNATURE FORMAT CONTROL - ACROBAT PRO DC
Acrobat Pro DC does not provide much flexibility for formatting the signature block. While the ability to add a graphic image is great, designing the text portion is very restricted... too restricted. There is an option for field headers... I don't need these. I need to be able to simply list my name on 1 line, title on another, company name on a third line, and automated date and time stamp when signed. The configuration of doing this, is nearly impossible, and a real mess. This needs to be simple and intuitive like 1000's of other applications out there that provide used control for similar requirements. The entire method for configuring signatures is clunky and a bit goofy. Also, the right side screen fly-out menu for selecting the various functions, like Certificates, is weird and a waste of space. Adobe is trying to be too 'special' here. Adobe programmers work on this stuff every day, all day. Average users don't, so we need something intuitive that doesn't frustrate us. Pro DC is frustrating. Time to regroup and ditch the 'cool look' antics, and go back to the basics. Focus on adding features, not window dressing that provides a lot of unnecessary confusion. Love the product in general... but you've done way better in the past. Looking forward to Acrobat Pro XYZ, or whatever wild name the next one comes with. Thx.

Convert Email Attachments to PDF in Combine Files Feature.
I can drag and drop emails from Outlook into the Combine Files Window, however, when you "combine" the files, the attachments are embedded rather than attached at the end of each email. You can manually convert each email in Outlook with attachments in that fashion, but when you have 100+ emails with attachments, that just doesn't work.
3 votesHi
You can achieve this by Selecting Multiple emails and converting them together using the Acrobat PDFMaker add-in in Outlook.
You can refer this:https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/creating-pdfs-pdfmaker-windows.html

More Options for Accessibility Tables
Create 508 compliant PDF documents frequently that need to be passed. These documents more than not have several lengthy tables. These documents also come from different people using different software and versions. And more than not these tables need to be rebuilt. Would love to have the option to create tables in the Tags sidebar from scratch where you can at the same time specify how many TR, TH, and TD and in a certain order. Right now I can only add them one at a time. Also, if there is a way to remove the hard setup of tables. Sometimes there is only one error where a TD is split into two when it should only be one. When I combined the cells, I then get a Regularity error even though the table is setup perfectly like a grid. In this case, I have to completely rebuild the table from scratch to remove the error. Hope in the next few updates, Adobe can add some more of these options for Accessibility tables.

Can not disable auto updates
Auto update feature cannot be turned off. This is a fundamental flaw in your software. No software should ever update without permission of ownder.

Icelandic OCR
In fact, all languages supported by the open source tesseract project should be available to Adobe customers. Better yet, Adobe licenses OCR from I.R.I.S. S.A. and meanwhile Readiris 17 has support for 130 languages, including Icelandic. Time to update or lose some license restrictions and move open source. What are you paying for, other than sub-par technology? Tesseract is a project supported by Google with an Apache 2.0 license.
Foxit and ABBYY Finereader also have support. Adobe is severely lagging behind here. The tesseract engine is particularly good at character recognition but does not have a very nice interface. There are scholars all over the world that study this language. Editions of medieval texts are especially popular, and tesseract is actually pretty good at older editions of manuscripts, thanks to community based work on tesseract training. It's a shame to not be able to scan in and use OCR on these documents straight from an Adobe product. It would make it much easier for translators to input text into a computer aided translation tool, and could provide the impetus for a windfall of new publications.
When there is an open source solution available it is a real shame that a paid-for consumer product cannot provide access to the same level of language support. I chose Adobe over the other commercial options for access to a wider range of professional level software, but am left disappointed by this aspect of the software while every other piece of OCR software on the market today beats Adobe out in this field.
This is a sore disappointment, and has been for some time now.
