  2. The new version is horrible. I spend more time looking for where you hid basic menu items than I spend viewing files. Return to the old interface. It was kind of kludgy but no where as bad as this new one.

  4. The new look has moved everything around. It is also unintuitive and awkward, making it very difficult to find and use things I need to use frequently. There is also no option to resize panes (which the old interface had), and I can't move toolbars around or otherwise customize it to be closer to what I am familiar with. To use the new look I have to re-learn everything. In the past updates were done to provide improvements without making major changes to layout, why change something that was working well? It's OK to change things bit by bit. Users…

  6. Every other stupid user interface you've introduced has at least been reversible or I could work around it. Now I'm stuck with a user interface that is COUNTER-PRODUCTIVE. For the work I do, I SIMPLY CANNOT USE IT. I need to be able to switch rapidly from one window to another, to compare for QC, so having immovable tools on the sides that get clicked accidentally makes that impossible. If this doesn't change, I will be forced to stop using Adobe products. Oh, and fire whoever thought this up, because they suck.

  7. Simply searching for a word in a 450 page document freezes up DC for 20-30 seconds in the new interface. This new interface is junk. I remember when you could get stuff done in Acrobat and it was this amazing tool. Now it's like Adobe doesn't care about UX, but would rather try to create something that's stylish above all. Stop trying to be Apple! No wonder the secondary PDF market is picking up steam. Am happily going back to the old interface.

  8. Many organizations standardize on the new Acrobat experience for supportability, training, documentation, and user consistency. While administrators can deploy the new Acrobat interface, end users are still able to select "Disable New Acrobat" from the menu and revert to the classic interface.

    This creates several challenges:
    - Increased support calls due to users working in different interfaces.
    - Inconsistent user experience across the organization.
    - Training documentation and internal procedures no longer match what users see.
    - Additional administrative overhead when troubleshooting issues.

    Requested Enhancement

Please provide administrators with a policy or enterprise setting that allows them…

  11. Ax the leadership that thought it would be a good idea to change a well established tool causing myself and so many others so much frustration and wasted time that I am motivate to post this nasty-gram.

Please publish a public statement and apology for making such a brash and disruptive change. I would be happy to personally berate the troglodyte(s) responsible for this offence personally!

    1. FILE ORGANIZATION WITH DRAG & DROP - Organizing files on Adobe takes longer than actually printing a hardcopy, labeling it, alphabetizing it, and climbing up a ladder to file it in heaven. The "Move" file option should be found in every dropdown on every page.

    2. NEED MORE FILTER OPTIONS - We should be able to filter by recipient's names, file name, dates, signed/unsigned, starred, modified, etc.

    3. CHECK BOXES - When a document has been completed and uploaded - check the "Completed" box. The completed document should not keep showing up in the same list. This will help prevent reopening the…

  14. Is there anyway to go back to the prior view? I understand that sometimes updates need to be done, however, existing functionality should not be taken away.

  15. Please stop updating Adobe and making it less functional everytime. I just need a clean surface with a toolbar of my favorite tools at the top (e.g. marking things, the arrow, page navigation, text recognition). Stop the AI tools. Improve your text recognition. Almost everytime I get a new update, I end up being annoyed and disrupted in my workflow. This could be such an easy and clean tool. I would love to go back at least 2 versions, but that is not possible

  16. Don't open bookmarks by default!

When opening a document that has bookmarks embedded in it, the bookmarks panel opens automatically (and slowly) and takes up a third of the screen. It's infuriating, takes several seconds before it can be closed, and is completely pointless. Ditch it, or make it take up a tiny fraction of the screen space. I hate the way Acrobat prioritizes bookmarks over every other aspect of the interface.

  17. I’m very surprised I don’t see other people complaining about this. With the new Adobe Acrobat pro the Format Text list changed. It used to just display all your fonts in alphabetical order, and now you have fonts in used, your computer ( which does not display any fonts you have installed ) and your fonts.

Im adding images to make it more clear.

The first image you can see how the new list.
the 2nd image is what the list used to look like.
the 3rd image, you can see Acrobat sees my akkurat font. I’m able to select…

  18. While I am working on pdf documents with Acrobat, I keep having difficulties finding commands, toolbars, buttons that just a moment before were in some place, and then they suddenly disappear or moved to some hard to find place.
I remember having used today a button to optimize a scanned document, which opened a dialog allowing me to customize compression settings (dpi). I can no longer find it (instead, I find a similar command but which does not allow me to customize compression settings besides a few simple settings).
On the top toolbar, earlier today I have used the buttons…

  19. The latest version of Acrobat is horrible. Why did you have to completely flip the entire interface so it is backward. The tools are not readily accessible as they were before. This is a terrible idea. Please offer an option to change the interface back to the tool we know and can use quickly and efficiently. I'm trying to get work done!
