  1. PLEASE! When you make a so-called "improvement" DON'T make it default to new behaviour. Include that new feature as an option, but don't force me, in the middle of my work day, to suddenly have to cope with unexpected behaviour and then spend all kinds of time researching how to REMOVE what you have just done to it. You just made it default to using tabs instead of new windows, and I am BEYOND frustrated! For those who want that...fine, but don't force me to use that so-called feature. It's not a feature for me. I have to have two…

  3. There should be a keyboard shortcut for the "Fit one full page to window" button. I use this button every time I open a PDF (usually because the document settings are set to one-page continuous, my application settings are already set to one page).

  4. DUPLICATE SUBMISSION WITH ATTACHMENT EXAMPLES
The Acrobat Reader DC basic version has a very helpful "Save as" function where it brings up a user friendly window with 4-5 recently used folders, as well as the option to then browse further for another folder if needed. the Adobe Acrobat DC PRO version has a very different, very limited "save as" usability, where it defaults to a temp internet folder (that i cannot even find), which i will almost certainly never use as well. As far as i can tell there is no way to set a different default save as location…

    Hi,

If you wish to see the Save As dialog in Acrobat as per the “Save as ok” image shared by you, Kindly do as follows.
    1) Open Acrobat → Edit → Preferences → General
    2) Select the Checkbox “Show online storage when Saving files”

Try to Save as any pdf and check that you’ll see this dialog.
Let me know if that solves your concern.

Also please let me know the current version of Acrobat DC that you are using.

  6. Reproduce bug as follows:
    1. Shut down Acrobat
    2. Open PDF file in Acrobat
    3. Use [Cmd + =] shortcut to zoom. Document will rotate clockwise.
    4. And [Cmd + -] does nothing.
    5. Click the Provide Feedback button.
    6. Click the Acrobat window to give it focus.
    7. The zoom keyboard shortcuts now work, unless you re-launch Acrobat.

  8. Crash when trying to open the Output Preview window in Acrobat.

    Architecture: x86_64
    Build: 19.8.20074.305283

  9. The Zoom In (+) and Zoom Out (-) buttons, and the zoom percentage text box disappeared from my toolbar, and I can't get them back. These controls are only accessible through the menus or the undocked floating panel. Re-docking the panel doesn't bring these controls with it. Right-click "Show Select & Zoom Tools" doesn't even list them.

  13. There is a new problem with the toolbar, whereby page controls that were previously present are now hidden. The file tools occupy the same amount of space regardless of how many commands are contained within that space. Please fix this bug. Commands like 'fit one full page to a window' are no longer visible unless you un-dock the page controls from the toolbar.

  14. New update moved the fit page to window button to a hidden drop out floating toolbar. I use this tool and family of tools every time I am in Acrobat I should have the option of making always visible is the top docked quick tools toolbar like it was in the previous versions just the other day.

  15. Viewing the PDF. The new version has managed to remove the two buttons I use the most often from the Menu bar. Would you please put back the Zoom\Fit Width and Zoom\Zoom to Page Level buttons or at least give me to ability to edit the menus and adapt them to my own usage.

  16. When using the arrows to scroll page by page through a file, the navigation arrows jump back and forth across the top of the page if the length of the page title differs, making it impossible to quickly click through the document without chasing the arrows around. This is a clear oversight and design flaw.

  17. You have absolutely no control over the choice of menu design, forced to look at a big blue “share” button, a feedback button and a question mark. When operating in half screen the frequently used menu items I have chosen are hidden, because you think I want to share, learn or send feedback. Give me the ability to remove and take charge of my workspace environment.

  18. In both Pro DC and Reader, if one is searching for a term, one can't go back to the beginning and search again for that term; one has to search through the document. So if I find the 5th instance at p. 12, even if I go back to the top of the document and even I then click at the top of the document, when I next hit control f, it will search from p. 12. But sometimes I want to find, say, the first instance, or some other. Hitting previous requires me to go through all the previous…

  19. I have a purchased pdf with bookmarks and links to areas throughout the same documents. However clicking on the bookmarks does not do anything.

I have checked the link by
    right click
    selecting 'edit link'
    selcting 'actions'

The Action is 'execute a menu item' 'Go to a page in this document'.

Bookmarks and links appear to be set up correctly so I am not sure why they are not working?

  20. I want my old desktop downloaded 2011 version back with all of the functions intact. Paying an annual subscription for less functions and usability is garbage. We are a construction company that gets hundreds of project drawings in pdf format from owners and contractors. The new measure tool is one of my biggest complaints about the updated software. The measure tool basically has 1 function and it never works properly. If you do not have an original CAD or DWG file and the software to support it you cannot measure anything properly. I can no longer check or measure angles…
