  1. The page replacement feature is not working properly. The old page's links remain on the page, attached to new content.  For example, if page 21 has three links, and I want to substitute a new page 21 with three new links, I should be able to click on the new links and go to the new addresses. However, when I examine the new page 21, the text of the links matches the new content, but the link address is the old address.  This was a problem in August 2019 and is still a problem now, after Adobe's October release.

  2. In the past and in most other Mac programmes we had one click to add a PDF to an email now it is three clicks. Many have raised this issue in the last 12 months. And there is a supposed patch via the PList but it does not work for me on the Mac have tried several times over the months.

This article did not fix it for me.

    1. Open compressed (zipped) file in "File Explorer"
    2. Have preview on for "File Explorer"
    3. Select the PDF for preview in File Explorer
    4. Open the PDF
    5. Receive Error message Error Message: "Windows cannot complete the extraction. The destination file could not be created."

    OS: Windows 10 Pro 64bit

    Workaround

    1. Turn off Preview in File Explorer and Adobe Acrobat opens the PDF without any issue.

    2. Task Manager --> End Task Adobe Reader process --> Open PDF

Note: Adobe Reader is not installed

3: Uninstalling Adobe Acrobat (Not really an option, if you want to use Acrobat).

  6. It would be great if you brought back the delete button in the document cloud. Not having a delete button for the user to delete documents from the cloud isn't very secure. Even though the "hide" button acts like a delete button, it gives off the perception that the document still exists on the cloud. That isn't very secure and it should be a high priority.

  7. Description.
In case of making QR Code with Japanese Strings. Actobat DC makes wrong codes. This bug is the same as InDesign CC's behavior.
However, InDesign fixed this problem since ver.14.

    Step to reproduce...
    1. Make a form field with QR Code.
    2. Type Japanese characters in the form field and Acrobat will make QR Code that is incorrect.

Here is more detail and prease refer attached image.

    Hi All,

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. Requesting you to please provide the below details :

    1. Do you see the sign in dialog with any PDF file or with specific PDF file?
    2. Can you please share a snapshot of the sign in dialog being displayed to you?

    Regards,
    Sandeep

  10. I have created interactive Maths resources in PDF files ( I have attached one sample). They work fine with the Adobe Reader on Windows & the Mac but not on Android phones or the Ipad. I need to use "PDF Expert"for the Ipad & FOXIT PDF reader for the android to see them working properly.
I would prefer that they work on an Adobe Acrobat reader.

  12. Ability to open PDFs in Organizer MOde by default (or to switch back and forth). Or alternatively the ability to switch to organizer mode for multiple PDFs that are open at the same time. Right now, you would have to click on each PDF individually and then click on Organizer

  15. There should be an option to scale multiple pages per sheet when printing.

Without that, the text will be too small to read.

  16. In the latest Update for Acrobat, 19.012.20036, Distiller broke all our Workflows! Distiller renamed the Input and Output folders on our German MacOS Installation from "In" and "Out" to "Nach innen" and "Nach außen". It seems to get somehow translated automatically, since "In" and "Out" correspond to the translations the folders now have. The Problem ist, we are working with scripts to check those folders, and those are now not working anymore! This needs to be fixed ASAP! Also, the "ß" in the "Nach außen" is a big problem when working with network shares, as this is a special character…

  17. I have already reported the fact that, when installing or updating Adobe Acrobat (which happens rather often), the program icon in the Windows menu is incorrect. I know how to bypass the problem by creating manually the good icon, but each time Acrobat is updated, this bad icon reappears (see screenshot).

This is a VERY long lasting bug. So please, fix it!!!

    Thank you

    Hi,

Could you please try the following steps and let us know if the issue is resolved:

    • Delete Adobe Acrobat icon from the Start Menu, the desktop and from the taskbar.
    • Go to C: > ProgramData > Microsoft > Windows > Start Menu > Programs and you’ll find the " Adobe Acrobat DC " with the wrong icon. The that looks like a shortcut. Delete it and close the window.
    • Go to C: > Program Files (x86) > Adobe > Acrobat DC > Acrobat and find Acrobat.exe
    • Right click on Acrobat.exe > Send to > Desktop
    • Right click again on Acrobat.exe > Pin to Start Menu… and close the window
    • Right click on Acrobat.exe – shortcut (that you just created on your desktop) > Copy
    • Go back to: C: > ProgramData > Microsoft > Windows > Start Menu > Programs… and Paste the…

  18. Microsoft Office products, such as Word or Excel, have the ability to remember previous printing preferences, even when you move the saved document to a different area or attach to an email. The document will still print, with your saved preferences. This is a feature that is highly needed on Adobe. For those of us with high profile clientele, it's nice for the client to be able to print without having to set settings or change preferences.
