Side by Side PDF files
I often have two PDFs open at the same time, side by side, for referencing purposes. Now with the Acrobat DC I don't have that choice as both opened files are now in the same 'tabbed' PDF window. I can see the two files 'serially' but not side by side.
What to do?????1 voteHi,
You can drag the newly opened tab out and your PDF will now be open in new Acrobat window.
Thanks

Viewable layers or levels of content on single page
We use text boxes or callout tool to "balloon" customer prints with several different colors representing the type of feature or dimension. Would like to be able to view the different colors by "groups" or "layers" in any combination. Current use of layers does not work as it imports each separate ballooned print over the other and are only visible by toggling between but not in combination with each other. Have talked to adobe direct and verified there is no support for this type of function at this time. Seems like a simple feature to me, we have used this…

When I copy and past text from the PDF into Dreamweaver, I loose all the formatting. This waste an enormous amount of time. I have all the clients email me the texts to create html newsletters - but sometimes they can't or they want use an old brochure etc. Please fix or let me know what I need to do to use the product better.

Print copies resets to 1 and collate is hard to find
If I select multiple copies and check the two-sided print option and go back to print, it resets the copies to 1.
Also, the collate option was hard to find being hidden until you select more than 1 copy.1 vote -

shortcut keys for touch up reading order tool
Shortcut keys already exist if you have a screen reader enabled. If you could put in tooltips giving us those keys, it would speed up manually tagging files tremendously.
2 votesHi,
We escalated the this request to the higher management. We don’t have a plan to provide this feature for now but We have kept it in our radar and would implement it in the near future. Thanks

Combining files
As a new user of Acrobat DC, I combine 2 files and save the portfolio. When I open up my new combined file there is a column panel on the left that shows the 2 documents that I combined. I cannot scroll through my new combined document from page 1 to the end. Rather, I must use arrows to toggle between my 2 documents. What am I missing to see it as one new combined document? Thanks.

StatusCheck2 plug-in crashing Acrobat... daily
Well, the idea is to stop the friggin' crashing of Acrobat! Just about the time that I upgraded to macOS High Sierra (currently 10.13.3), the Acrobat plug-in StatusCheck2 began crashing. Now, it crashes numerous times a day. I have found nothing to stop it.
I also have Enfocus PitStop Pro, if that makes a diff.1 vote -
Provide Option to Open at Less Than Full Screen
Provide Option to Open In Less Than Full Screen Mode.
I work with multiple documents on may PC screen. Every time I open Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, it fills the whole screen and I have to go fishing for the corner of the screen to shrink it. I'd like to concentrate when I work, not get distracted or annoyed.
Your support would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
1 voteYou can change the screen display by trying:
1) Open Adobe Reader.
2) Select “Edit” > “Preferences“.
3) Select “Page Display” on the left pane.
4) Under the “Default Layout and Zoom” area, change the “Zoom” dropdown menu to a desired setting.Hope this works for you.

Bug: Acrobat file created by InDesign export cannot be reduced in size; hangs Acrobat
A PDF which was created via an InDesign export, cannot be reduced in size in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. It hangs Acrobat during the Reduce in Size option.
I have isolated the cause of the problem to the final letter "x" that was added at the end of the text in the Indesign CC file.. I will try to see if I can attach that file. I have attached a ZIP-compressed Adobe InDesign CC 2018 package. I have also attached the PDF file.
This problem is keeping me from reducing in size a very large file.
