Application Crashing Constantly
Ever since the Adobe update several months ago, my application constantly has issues functioning. It regularly crashes and/or is not responsive when I open a file.

Acrobat Pro version 2023.006.20380 Combine Files page is dead
The Combine files page has three clickable buttons and they are all dead. Nothing happens. Serious bug.
Update: I installed macOS 14.2.1 and that freed up the buttons. But a second problem now: attempting to save a PDF of a scan results in the error message in the screenshot:2 votes -
Multiple simultaneous searches
I extensively use Acrobat for academic research. The fact that when I search for an expression it highlights all its occurrences throughout the file is interesting.
It would be even more interesting if I could highlight several searches at once, and colour them differently.
Those searches would be available on a side panel allowing me to select the colour for each expression, delete them, add new, etc... more important, the searches should be persistent and stored with the file when I close it.
It would also be interesting if searches, upon flagging them as such, would operate cross file.

Can't edit font
Why did you wreck Acrobat Pro? I can't change the font, italicize, increase line spacing, or any of the other fine tuning features of the previous version.
You've made a formerly great product almost useless.
Please revert to the previous version or I'll cancel my subscription. Not worth it.

+create button is irritating. Please remove.
With your recent SW, you not only filled both sides with your revenue addons, but you also put the "+create" button with all of the tabs.
I tolerate your tool sidebars, but your "+create" button is IN THE WAY OF DAILY WORK!!!
I am constantly miss-clicking it and having to deal with that tool getting in my face all the time. You make it worse by being hyper-sensitive to the mouse pointer moving across it and then opening a larger context window. It is IN MY FACE ALL THE TIME.

take more notes from bluebeam
There's a reason corporations are moving wholesale to Bluebeam and ditching Adobe Acrobat. It's an awful pile of steaming poo in comparison. Bluebeam has infinitely more usability and utility. In Adobe, it takes a ridiculous amount of unintuitive clicks to get anything done, marking up or drawing anything with shapes is a clustercluck, just managing the organization of a document is a nightmare.
Do your research with users! this is your worst program.

Adobe Sign New User Experience is SO SLOW
This version takes two or more clicks to do everything that the old version does with one. It also doesn't line up on fields automatically, it's more cumbersome to enter people to send it to, and then I have to get an email to sign myself instead of at the time. When I'm done with the form, it thinks I changed something and asks if I want to save it. It takes twice as long to do anything. I've gone back to the old one, please don't make us use the new one! Or, I'll have to find something else.

Why don't you inform your customers that Arabic is not supported when they buy or subscribe to your products?
Arabic language is not supported, so OCR does not support arabic and exporting Arabic pdf files to other formats is not possible.

The new Adobe is disaster. It is hopeless to use. It is not stable, all the times i need to close it by task menager. All the tools is not simple to find. Even to make comments to document You need to spend fiew minutes to find option. All the many was moved to reverse side, to right, when earlier was on left. All tools is hidden and hard to fine anything. All the times the program blokking changes, and ask for confirm at documents is safety.

Acrobat Not Responding when Opening
After the latest update, Acrobat freezes for about 30 seconds to one minute after opening. If I try to click on a recent file, I get a "not responding" message.

Remove Autotag document from right click menu in accessibility
- Right click menu rework for tagging.
- I work primarily in tagging documents for accessibility, and I frequently use right click action menu to create a new tag. Sometimes over 100 individual uses on a document. There have been countless times where I accidentally click "auto-tag document" instead of "New Tag". I don't believe anyone auto tags a document from this right click menu and I believe it would be good to either remove it from the menu, or create some distance from regularly used features in that menu. Drag to select comments
Please add functionality so when I drag a box on the screen it gives the option to select the comments. Ideally selection box one way, crossing box the other way - if Autodesk has a patent on that or something then please license it from them.

Adobe PDFs extremely slow to react
Simple PDFs opening in Microsoft Windows are extremely slow to react to anything (Slow to print, edit and everthing else.) This lagging is 30 seconds to a minute before anything can be done. This is noted by all computers in our office.
This has been going on for 2 days now. It is 12-19-2023. Adobe PDFs were very easy to work with prior to this week.10 votes -
PDF file does not open on initial double-click
Reopen closed PDFs (pop-up)
Acrobat closed abruptly. You can restore the PDFs you had open.It closed abruptly because I clicked the (X) in the top right of the application to close the app., while it was apparently doing some other function and not paying attention to the GUI.
There seems to be too much extra communication and file parsing happening, when I only want to OPEN the PDF.

Hightlight the text being read aloud by Adobe.
When We use Adobe Read Aloud function, We are able to hear the words/Speech. However, We are never able to find out which text is being read by Adobe Currently. Adobe Must highlight the text being Read by Adobe read aloud and Auto Scroll to keep the highlighted text visible to us. It will help us read the document along With Adobe Read Alound. Default language set to English with Arabic support on Adobe Pro
After re-installing Adobe Pro due to problems with crashing, when adding text to a PDF document, typing a colon or number would result in the digits moving to the left of all the text and appearing in a non-English font. On googling the issue, I found a thread referring to the fact that the Language default in Preferences may be set to "English with Arabic support" with all options for "Editing in Middle Eastern Languages" toggled on. Adobe Acrobat Glitching
Adobe Acrobat keeps freezing - every time the app is opened the PDF glitches and the screen doesnt allow you to click on anything and you have to force shut it down.
