  2. I really struggles with the new version, I give it a chance but I think the new interface its less efficient than before, it takes me longer to do the same tasks.

    But the major problem for me it's the lag! It lag so much than I canno't use the zoom on my PDF and that's an tool that I need to use all the time.

    My acrobat is up to date and I run it on a brand new mac book pro M2 max so, the problem seem to really come from Adobe Acrobat. Please I need Acrobat every…

  3. Your Adobe Acrobat Reader software update to a new screen format SUCKS! This involuntary change is NOT WELCOMED!!! This change is to make using your software more efficient for users I assume. Well, the exact opposite is happening for me. I'm looking around for the old tool setting icons I had a the top of my screen in the previous version for quick & easy access to them and I cannot find them because to deleted some of them. So, now I do not have the tools I need to efficiently use this program. Great Job, NOT! :(

  4. Mac OS offers the option of using text abbreviations to insert several words or entire sentences (text replacements). For example, "#--" becomes "delete hyphen". Acrobat used to understand and implement these abbreviations. Since the version from December 2023, this no longer works. Please restore the function.

  7. I hate the new interface and I hate so badly that there's this lag now when I'm using the program!!!!! Why in the world did you change what wasn't broken? Why????????????!!!! FIX THE **** LAGGGGGGG!!!!!

  8. Why in the world did you have to change user interface so drastically? Icons moved left to right, top to bottom, etc. Who needs that? What is the purpose other than self-serving some psychopathic front-end software engineer? You seem to desire losing your loyal users - now I need to spend hours trying to figure out what is where and will be much less productive for the coming weeks. Shame on you!

  9. Help me, please! Adobe Acrobat Pro stopped working, so I tried to re-install it and failed. Now it is gone from my desktop and all my PDF files icons changed and I can no longer open them by clicking on them. Repeated attempts to download Adobe Acrobat Pro and re-install it have failed. What do I have to do to get it back?

  10. Don't force installation of McAfee or try to be sneaky with Adobe Reader.
    You guys are better than this. Don't associate yourself with this bloatware ****, otherwise soon Adobe may find their image tarnished as bloatware-related. At least for me, it's making me consider alternatives to PDF.

  11. Everytime my computer goes to sleep, Acrobat DC "hangs up" and I'm forced to close the application and reopen files.
    This seems like a new problem and an unnecessary glitch/inconvenience..

  12. The interface is way too cluttered. The top "toolbar" with "Home" and "Tools" and a feedback button is completely unnecessary. Stick those functions in the Mac Menu Bar and free up my screen real estate.

  13. At random times when sending documents for e-signature the field box for an initial is not at the location of where the box is on the template. The area for the user to click to initial/sign is showing in between two pages where they cannot access or control it.

  14. you guys need to update the fonts available for editing text. Brutal that i can use one text on through the web browser. But when i use the app thats saved to my desktop, i cant even use the same font that i was using in the browser. that needs to be fixed.

  15. my old form changed with new update. It used to work great. Now when I request e-sign text box alignment and font size or something changes, so all text isn't visible and it is all left justified. See attached examples.

  16. When selecting the default zoom by going here:

    menu -> Preferences -> Page Display ->Zoom percentage

    ...changing the Zoom Percentage value does not have any effect on the actual default zoom. When opening a new .pdf document, it defaults to 150%, which shifts the picture off screen. Every time I open a new .pdf I have to zoom out and it's getting annoying!

  17. As of Thursday 1/4/24, sticky notes vanish as soon as they are entered, and if I type more than word in a highlight pop-up box, the font downsizes from my norm.

  18. -The new update has the "Fill in Form Field" button in a prominent place on the toolbar and it is the only text looking button in the default toolbar. Everyone in my design office mistakenly thought it was the text box tool and was extremely frustrated trying to redline documents. As designers, we do not use this software primarily for forms or even text documents, but for reviewing and commenting on drawings.   19. There are at least two scenarios in which Acrobat is busy, but provides no activity/notification of what it's doing or that it's busy:

    1) With auto-updates enabled, Acrobat will download and install the update in the background. During the installation, the Acrobat application will not respond to clicks for 15 seconds - 2 minutes or so and no notification of what it's doing will show

    2) When combining files, each time a file is added, Acrobat doesn't respond to clicks (it is apparently preparing the file in the background to be converted) until that processing is complete. This behavior occurs…
