3. highlight entire pdf prepare form

   need an option to highlight the entire pdf when preparing a form to change features like read only and lock it. either give an option to highlight the entire form or by page (where the field box is on the right side) that way we can edit properties faster and conveniently.

4. Minimize Floating Toolbar

   The floating toolbar seems purposed for newer users. It would be helpful if the following was done with the floating toolbar.
   - Enable the toolbar to be transparent
   - Allow the toolbar to be docked on the right panel
   - Enable the toolbar to automatically minimize when not in use
   - Allow users to remove the default tools

   A few features that are quite nice about the toolbar:
   - Contextual menus are immediately activated and brought into view once a tool is selected
   - Various related tools can be pinned to the floating toolbar
   - The toolbar can be moved about the page

   Thanks for your work in constantly improving a quality product.

5. Unable to edit objects

   I created this PDF from blank page in Acrobat and now I am unable to edit the images in this file. It can't be selected using bounding box. I believe this is a bug.

6. Issue splitting document by bookmarks

   Since the latest Adobe update, I haven't been able to split a PDF by bookmarks and have it save the file names as the bookmark names. I have an Imac with an Intel chip (bought it right before the switchover) and Big Sur. To reproduce, I go to tools, click organize pages, click split, click split by Top Level Bookmarks, click Output Options and select Use bookmark for filenames, then click OK. When I click OK, the Split menu underneath the split options menu disappears, so I can then click "Split" to execute the split. When I reopen the toplevel "Split" menu in the tools section, all options have been reset.

8. ditch the 2023 interface

   I'm just going to stop using adobe. The new interface makes what I wan't to do impossible and frustrating. Go back to the older interface and check with your users before making untested and badly designed changes. Mac Preview for me from now.

   It is common that the underlying PDF used for an Acrobate Sign template (like an agreement that is used often) is revised once in a while. Currently we need to re-create the Adobe Sign template from scratch every time the underlying PDF file has changed and recreate all the fields, instead of just being able to replace the underlying PDF with a new PDF, keeping the existing fields as they are.

   The ability to replace the underlying PDF of a template exists with all other similar digital signature services (DocuSign for example, has this basic feature for years).

    1. Bug: A checkbox that is marked as 'required' will always require to be checked in order to submit the form.

    Description:
    If a checkbox is used in an Adobe Sign template and is marked as 'required', the only way to submit the form when signing is if that checkbox is marked as 'checked'. If it is selected as 'checked' and then again as 'unchecked', the form cannot be submitted. This is of course not the wanted functionality, all other objects that have more than one selected status, even when marked as 'required' once visited, the 'required' requirement is met and the form can be submitted. However with a checkbox the 'required' requirement is met only if it is selected as 'checked', which is incorrect behaviour.

    1. To reproduce: Add a checkbox to an Adobe Sign template and mark it as 'required'. Create an agreement and fill, sign and try to submit. Only if the checkbox is 'checked' you will be allowed to submit.

    2. The bug is not related to the environment. The environment is Ubuntu Linux, using both Chrome and Firefox.

    3. Expected result: Once a checkbox that is marked as 'required' is visited (like clicking 'checked' and then 'unchecked' I should be allowed to submit the signed form, regardless if the checkbox is 'checked' or 'unchecked'.

    4. Observed result: Currently only if the checkbox that has the 'required' attribute is marked as 'checked' I'm allowed to submit the signed document. So I cannot submit the document if the checkbox that is marked as 'required' is 'unchecked', which is obviously incorrect.

11. Bug Report: Organize pages / split

    When I go to split pages / split by top level bookmarks and then select output options I select Use Bookmark names for file names and go ahead and select then the folder I would like this issued as.
    The first error, I select OK, and immediately exits me out of the split screen.
    The second error, I go back have to select ALL the same output options I originally selected/entered and despite what I enter it ALWAYS outputs add label and number after original name and into the folder where the file originally was selected at start.

    NOW HERE IS THE WEIRD PART...

    I delete all of that, go back to split enter everything again and it works.

    Please someone help this issue. I recently installed the update thinking that would correct the issue and it has not.

13. Add Text & Auto Generated Text Box Bug

    When I select Edit PDF and Add Text, text boxes automatically generate in a way that make no sense. (This happened with a scanned pdf form with text boxes.) In addition, the cursor will not allow me to add text outside the automated text box that Adobe generated. First off, auto generated text boxes should line up with existing boxes on a form (regardless of being a scanned copy). Second, Add Text shouldn't be restricted to autogenerated text boxes. I am using Adobe Pro Version 2023.006.20320 on a Windows 11 computer. See screen shot.

    The only work around I see is to Edit Prepare a Form, add a text field, Save, and then add your text.

14. Allow lefthand tool bar items to be moved into existing tool bar spaces on top or on the right of the screen

    Left hand tool bar uses up extra space on the screen. Why can't this be moved to the top or right where there is already toolbars with extra space. See attached document for picture.

15. Bug: Offline installation with PDF maker deactivated will still install the add-in

    OS: Windows 10
    Acrobat: Pro, Version 2023.006.20320
    Problem: Custom installation with offline installer will install PDF Maker addin/plugin though deactivated
    1) The installer shall not install anything outside of the Acrobat installation paths unasked
    2) There is an option to deactive PDF Maker integration into alien software, but it would still install without notice into Word, Excel etc. and browsers
    3) If that option isn't actually deactivating the add-in installation, then this needs an option.

16. display the page size is missing

    This is a bug, not an idea: since the latest update (acrobat Pro 2023.006.20320) there is no possibility to permanent show the page sizes in the lower left corner of an opened PDF file, although the corresponding checkbox is enabled in the preferences.

19. Using Hebrew to fill a form crashes acrobat

    When filling out a PDF form in Hebrew it crashes.

    The good news is that I found a fix: If I change the first field in the form to right to left (it is left to right by default) It does not crash anymore.

20. Trashy application and garbage user experience

    I have been using Acrobat Read (paid) for 1 year.

    The application is trashy at its best.

    1. Had crashes when exporting from word to pdf. It crashes 3/6 times.

    2. Export to pdf from word was changed recently and the user experience was broken. After the export to pdf the user is moved from the existing line to the beggining of the document. If you do this 100 times per day and if you work continously with the export this is not work - the product that designed this is idiot. He should have asked the customers. This new „feature” was recently „introduced”. Another idiocy of the application. Another broken feature not designed for customers.

    3. Another broken feature is when you open a pdf in the read and you select view of 2 pages. It used to align both of the pages correctly into the view of the reader and when you were paging 200 pages document it would correctly align each 2 new pages into the view and you were viewing only the 2 pages. Right now after it was „fixed”, the scroll was designed so idiotic that you see 4 pages, and you need to manually align them. When you have a 200 pages document this is stupid.

    4. The product is continously updated and reinstalled, meaning the level of bugs is so high that the application needs to be continously in repair mode.

    This product is not designed for customers, is designed by idiots that are not using it and that dont know the customers.
