  2. I "critically" agree with some of the prior assessments I have read in the flow here. I think the comment from the user that "HATE"s the new interface is the best summary of the issue. While I doubt that the change was arbitrary, because companies rarely do things on a whim, I certainly don't agree with pushing a change for everyone. If the menu positioning is something people want flexibility with, then make this a user-controlled setting. Right now, flipping the prior configuration makes little sense, if only because the traditional layout has been the standard for a while and…

  3. If it ain't broke why "fix" it? The latest Adobe Acrobat is horrendous re: changes to the interface and functionality. Basic things like zoom function, where to access tools, or go to the next page have changed - why?! You're making people who have used Acrobat for years CHANGE the way they work, breaking workflow. It's slow to load and do most actions and hard to find things. I HATE it when Adobe moves things around like this. Please stop making arbitrary changes that break workflow for regular users.

  4. I work from home in a rural setting -- I have fast internet but not as fast as in a city.

Acrobat Pro always worked perfectly, fast and efficient. But Acrobat DC keeps stalling out, briefly showing one window layout (all buttons are dead) then flips to different window layout which eventually settles in and works.

This means every time I open a doc or switch between open docs, I have to wait for this stall-window flip-open which adds time and great frustration. Please fix this bug!

  5. I have used Acrobat for many, many years and this update to the UI is very frustrating. I don't really know why it is confusing, but it is. I don't see why the Tools needed to be grouped into tiny icons in a constant, annoying side-bar, they were much easier to pick and use (especially for newbies who I may teach to use the software in our office) when they were on their own tab, with the smaller handy icons on the right being useful once you understood each tool. It was what made Acrobat the preferred software against other…

  7. In new version of Acrobat, Shortcut Key Assigned for "Windows" as well as "Protect Using Password" is same i.e. Alt+F followed by W. This makes "Windows" access using keyboard difficult as it always triggers first instance i.e. "Protect Using Password". It will be better of shortcut keys are kept same to make navigation smooth for existing users.

  9. Currently under the 'JavaScript' menu, you can execute a piece of java code within a document on a specific document action.

The current options are as below:
    Document Will Close
    Document Will Save
    Document Will Print
    Document Did Save
    Document Did Print

Our company of 1800+ would like the option for this to also be applicable at an application level.
The intention is for every document saved to execute a piece of java code and not just the individual document.
One use-case is for a liability disclaimer to be applied to all documents without the need for manual intervention.

  10. After completing the multiple steps to now extract documents in the new feature is taking twice as long to save those documents. For example, I need to save each extracted document with a separate tittle. I am only given the option of where to save it and not what to now title the extracted document. So after saving about 3 documents that had been individually extracted, the system "replaced" the new saved document as the tittle was the same.

This is the main function that I use for Adobe, hopefully it gets sorted out quickly.

  11. As far as I'm aware on the standard adobe version, the print preview box is this teeny tiny window where you can barely see the details of the page. Is there not a way to have this as a larger option? When printing in google chrome the preview fills up the majority of the screen. This is a general issue and an accessibility issue for people with visual impairment.

  12. When using the Windows 11 operating system and enabling the file preview feature in the file explorer, when I select a .pdf file, an error from Adobe Acrobat appears: "An internal error occurred," and afterward, the file explorer stops working. I'm not sure if it's an issue with Adobe or Windows.

  13. As many people have requested and reported the same problem, I spoke with a higher level support staff person, whom then spoke with the development team, they reported adding Inherit Zoom to the default settings list was not possible, yet already accomplished for Bookmarks as reported in a post for version 20.012.20041.
The courts require all links and bookmarks to be set to inherit zoom. To set a link, it currently requires FOURTEEN STEPS per link to set it (see attached visual). Briefs will commonly have 100 or more links in them. And links can only be set, once everything…

  14. When specifying a field in a web form on Mac (Safari, Chrome, or Firefox), selecting Name then Full Name for the form property looks like it is required, but when actually using the form, the field is NOT required and in fact is gone- can't be entered. Using Text as the type and then using "Full Name" as Tooltip works.

I've tried clearing cache/cookies, restarting the browser, on Safari, Chrome and Firefox. Only changing the field type has any effect. See screenshots.

    1. I want to add a new feature in your request signature tool, if a field is assigned to anyone or everyone / anyone that all the signers say 5 of them should be able to sign in same field and the documents should have a separate copy of each signers in the audit report.
(this is helpful if for example a company wants to have all of their clients sign a new update policy document or something like that where everyone needs to sign the same thing but the sender needs each one returned as separate documents but can still…

  16. Your new version (2023.003) is just TERRIBLE. :

    1) WHY change something that was working well before, and that everyone just KNEW how to use? WHY? What is the purpose of changing the interface just for the change. It is TERRIBLE.

    2) It is also very BUGGY, and freezes constantly by simply moving the window, opening documents, closing them, etc. Windows 10 22H2 latest patches, 16GB RAM on i7. WHY purposefully make our lives harder?

  17. I use Adobe Pro at work. I comment and mark up blueprints for parts in the automotive industry. The update moving the menu items to a side panel was completely needless, and as you did so you removed features or hid them to where they were effectively removed. I can add text but can I change the font or color? Maybe. Can't find it though. Custom stamps to add? Good luck finding them, and when you do get your clicking finger ready. This thing is awful!

  18. Allow all users to choose how they use toolbars, so they can set it up to however they work. This means allowing them to turn it on or off. If on, allow users to dock it to whatever part of the screen they want it on, top, bottom, left or right. And finally, allow them to expand the toolbar to be able to read the names OR have just the icons themselves. The new version isn't that bad, the users just need to know where the tools are, so they can use them. So my final suggestion is to have…

  19. The latest update no longer shows both the page label (book page number) and physical page number, only the physical page number. Can you please change this back to the way it was before? I work in book publishing, and now it's difficult to see which page of the book I'm viewing.
