1. Norwegian letters when converting PDF to word/excel

   My suggestion is that you add the norwegian letters "Æ Ø Å" so that when we convert norwegian documents from pdf to word/excel the letters are converted correctly.

2. Bug: posting a bug report via uservoice displays an error message

   Steps to reproduce:

   1. Be logged out of acrobat.uservoice.com
   2. Go to acrobat.uservoice.com and type up a bug report
   3. Submit bug report
   4. Log in to acrobat.uservoice.com and continue the submission process

   Expected result: bug report is submitted to the forum and a confirmation message is presented.

   Actual result: bug report is submitted to the forum, but an error message is displayed (see attachment).

3. Bug: Opening a document when using Apple Spaces does not work correctly

   Steps to reproduce:

   1. Be on an Apple Mac with one monitor (I'm currently on macOS 13.4.1c)
   2. Create two Apple Spaces
   3. In Space A, open PDF #1
   4. In Space B, open PDF #2

   Expected result: After step 3 Acrobat creates a new window in Space A that displays PDF #1, and after step 4 Acrobat creates a new window in Space B that displays PDF #2.

   Actual result: After step 4 Acrobat loads PDF #2 into the window in Space A that currently displays PDF #1 (bug #1), and then it tries and fails to switch to that Space, instead switching you to a new, previously non-existent space with no windows open (bug #2).

   Steps to reproduce:

   1. Be on an Apple Mac with one monitor (I'm currently on macOS 13.4.1c)

   4. In Space B, open PDF #2

4. unresponsive cursor

   The mouse cursor and some other functions are EXTREMELY SLOW to respond making the application practically unusable. It takes about 10 times longer to do anything because of this.

   I have to move my mouse to something and then hover for a couple of seconds before I can make the action I want to make.

   This seems like an intended thing as there's no lag, not waiting on processing, nothing like that - the cursor just isn't responsive, almost as if it were a safety feature.... but it is extremely annoying and I can't use this application in the current state.

5. Adobe Sign-In Improvement

   Adobe Acrobat will prompt users to sign-in to Adobe.com when we need to sign documents. As a best practice, complex passwords are encouraged in all our accounts. Adobe.com enforces this by asking for passwords which must have:

   1) Contains at least 8 characters
   2) Contains both lower (a-z) and upper case letters (A-Z)
   3) Contains at least one number (0-9) or a symbol
   4) Does not contain your name or email address
   5) Is not commonly used or a previous password

   As a result, many of us, as an enterprise or as individuals have adopted password managers such as browser password managers found in Google, Apple, Microsoft, browsers or 3rd party ones such as 1Password, KeePass, etc to manage our complex passwords for us.

   Yet, the Adobe Sign-In window that opens when we are prompted to enter our password does not support any of the password managers or its extensions. To make matters worst, it does not support copy & paste directly into the one time passcode or password fields.

   This means users are forced to have their complex passwords open and visible, displaying this on our screens while we manually look back and forth typing in a complex password that is meant to be hidden away from prying eyes in the office environment. Corporate helpdesk supporting Adobe products remotely connected to our workstations also have visibility in this manner.

   This is a serious password exposure risk to our Adobe.com accounts.

   Suggestion: Enhance Adobe Sign-In within Adobe apps to support password managers or its extensions. Or as an alternate workaround, allow copy & paste of one time passcodes (2FA) and passwords into the Adobe Sign-In Window.

6. Website Description Not Accurate

   I have been advised that if you don't have an Adobe Acrobat license then you cannot log into Adobe Acrobat Pro and have it function as Adobe Reader. You need to use the Adobe Reader product.

   The website https://helpx.adobe.com/au/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html currently suggests that you should be able to log into Adobe Acrobat Pro and have it operate as Adobe Reader.

   My suggestion is to update the website so that it is clearer that you must be licensed with Adobe Acrobat in order to use the product and that it you have PCs being access by users who do and don't have Acrobat licenses, then you need to install 32 bit version of Acrobat Pro and Adobe Reader in parallel.

9. Function to group objects disappeared in Adobe Acrobat Pro version 2023.003.20269, App: Edit

   The previously versions of Adobe Acrobat Pro had a function to group two or more objects, when opening a pdf-document and choose the app: Edit.
   Grouped objects could then also be ungrouped.

   I have spent at 1 hour to search for this function in the program as well in the Adobe help files and on the internet.

   Please add this function again. It is very useful when working in documents having multiple objects.

10. Bug: selection of text to be corrected produced erroneous selection.

    1) Read in the attached file "bug.pdf"
    2) Push "Scan & OCR"
    3) Push "Correct recognized text."

    The resulting screen capture for me is shown in the attached file "a.jpg." To create this weird selection, I had toggled on "Review recognized text" then double clicked on "Guide-" which is in the upper right corner of the red box (as currently seen). Notice the text that was recognized was "Cnicl?b". I had hope to replace that text, but making the selection area so large seems nonsensicle.

    I'm running on Windows.

11. Bug: export of plain text file produces nearly empty file

    1) Read in the attached file ("a.pdf").
    2) Select "Export a PDF>text (plain)" and save to the file "a.txt"

    For me, the file is nearly empty, 14 bytes in size (see attachment). a.pdf has plenty of OCR text and cut-and-paste copies plenty of good-looking text. I don't know how a.pdf was originally created, but in any event export of text should produce something better than this I think.

12. Bug: OCR: removal of erroneous space within word doesn't work correctly

    1) Read in the attached file "bug2.pdf"
    2) Push "Scan & OCR"
    3) Push "Correct recognized text". You should see the views shown in 1.jpg and 2.jpg.
    4) In the "Recognized as" text area, notice there is a space after "pach." Delete the space and push "Accept."
    5) Click the "OK" button of the message dialog window.
    6) Toggle on "Review recognized text"
    7) Double click on "pach" in the document, notice that despite the space having been removed, it still recognizes "pach" as a separate word from "ypus." See 3.jpg

    It should combine them together into the single word "pachypus." As of now, I have to save the file, read it back in, go through the "Correct recognized text process" again, double click on "pachypus", then push "Accept." It will only then combine the two parts into a single word.

13. windows taskbar on autohide not allowed to popup

    When in expanded window mode (filling whole screen but not in full screen mode) the autohide windows taskbar is inaccessible.
    You are unable to access the windows toolbar to change programs
    This is the only program that causes the issue.
    Have tried adjusting window settings.

14. Allow activation on 3 devices simultaneously for Acrobat.

    Allow simultaneous license activation on 3 devices. Limit it to Acrobat, or Acrobat Reader. Have the end user register their 3 devices.

    As of 2020, many people work remotely and on multiple devices: tablet, laptop, desktop. Further many people switch between the two very rapidly - for example: An Architect may review designs on the desktop, switch to a laptop for a meeting and contract signature, leave the laptop at the office, and take the tablet to the field (with no internet/reception) to make in-field review. The software is known to close/freeze in order to check-in/validate online & switch device activation. This impacts Adobe's customer workflow, time, credibility, and has a quantifiable dollar impact.

    Having to signout/signin each time a device is switched is time consuming and this adobe process adds cost and negative goodwill to the consumer. Therefore, alow Adobe acrobat (a ubiquitous software) to run on multiple registered devices.

17. Bug report: Scan & OCR>Correct recognized text: corrected text length no longer matches underlying text

    1) Open the attached file in Adobe Pro DC.
    2) Click on "Scan & OCR"
    3) Click on "Correct recognized text"
    4) Toggle on "Review recognized text"
    5) In the "Recognized as" text area, change "th~" to "those"
    6) Push Apply
    7) Select Menu>Export a PDF>text (plain) and export a file and look at it.

    Notice after the correction, "those" slightly overlaps the word to the right of it and no longer matches the length of the underlying text of the image. Before the correction, there was a space between "th~" and "of", but after correction and export to the txt file, the space is no longer there. This is one example of the problems caused by this bug. After the text is corrected, its length should remain the same as the underlying text.

    Nothing has gone right so far in the T20 World Cup 2022 for the Pakistan cricket team.
