1. Feedback issue

   I thought we were supposed to be able to feedback on the app, not just post feature requests or bug reports? Is this just to restrict us from complaining?

   My feedback is that the current Acrobat is still as terrible as it was when it was first introduced. None of the team appear to listen to a word of criticism and carry on forcing this horrendous bag of spanners down our CC throats. It's a blot on Adobe's vision and should be rethought completely. The longer you keep it, the more my opinion of your products wanes, but you just ***** on - it's only the users that have to use it on a daily basis.

2. DPI drop down

   When converting a PDF it would be nice if 400dpi was an available dpi in the drop down for resolution. We need to convert PDF's to Tiff at 400dpi a lot and we have to manually type it in each time. We are doing this 800+ times per week.

3. Bug Report - JavaScript Editor - TAB key to move text over exits the Editor

   Bug Report - In JavaScript, it's common practice to format the code to make it more readable by using the TAB key to indent text. This has worked fine in all previous versions of Adobe Acrobat that I've used. However, in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, pressing the TAB key moves the text to the right once, as it should, but then the focus moves to the OK button to close the Editor. The focus should stay in the Editor so TAB can be pressed again to move the text further to the right. It is EXTREMELY inconvenient to have to click back in the Editor after every TAB, and in the EXACT same place you were editing, in order to TAB text further to the right. This bug was confirmed on two different machines running Pro DC and using both an existing form and creating a new blank document.

   Steps to reproduce the issue:
   1) Launch Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.
   2) Select File > Create > Blank Page.
   3) Select Tools > Rich Media.
   4) Click Add Button on the toolbar
   5) Click anywhere on the document to create a command button.
   6) In the newly created button, click the All Properties link.
   7) In the window that opens, click the Actions tab.
   8) In the Select Action dropdown, select Run a JavaScript.
   9) Click the Add button.
   10) In the window that opens, type any text and then move the cursor to the beginning of that line.
   10) Press the TAB key.
   11) The text moves to the right 4 spaces, as it should, but notice the focus is now on the OK button.
   12) Press TAB again and see the focus move to the Cancel button.
   13) Click back in the Editor at the beginning of your text and press TAB again. Notice that the text moves another 4 spaces to the right, as it should, but once again the focus has moved to the OK button. This make formatting ones code ridiculously difficult.

   Please fix this bug asap.

4. Document not saving

   When I try to save a document after editing the form; I get a document cannot save, try saving under a different file name. Then it automatically deletes my document and goes right into my trash. When I try to retore and open the document it then gives me an error "There was an error opening this document. Access denied." but I could open the document on the drive online. This is frustrating as I am always organizing documents and if I can't be saving if I organize a page it will take me time to keep going in my trash to restore then reprint the document just so I can access the document.

5. White text not exporting into word document

   When exporting from PDF to word, I lose all the white text on a white background which we use as anchors for our docusign process. Is there a way to keep the white text on export?

6. Allow users to change default settings for ALL form field properties

   It would be an amazing time-saver if we were able to change all default settings for field properties, i.e. type and size of font for each field or all fields, type and size of radio buttons and checkboxes, etc. This would make me -- and many other users -- much less irritable when I have to create forms.

7. I can no longer save copies of completed/cancelled agreements

   I can no longer save copies of completed/cancelled agreements. It acts like it saves it, but when you go to where you saved it, nothing. It even opens a new copy of the agreement, adding a bunch of symbols and characters to the original file name, but I can't find where it is located. I try a 'save as' on that version and it tells me it can't because the file is already open. This is a huge issue if I can't get final versions out of Adobe and into our company archival system. Please fix asap!

8. Translator from Spanish to English

   When will Acrobat be able to perform translations in particular from Spanish to English and vice versa?
   With Mexico being America's adjacent neighbor one would expect this to have already been implemented.
   Many paying and non paying corporations and individuals would benefit from this addition.
   There are many requests and upvotes already asking for this feature and it would appear that those who are reading and responding from Adobe to these requests are either not seeing the benefits or don't care or don't deem this as a critical addition which should have already been implemented by now.
   Please pass this request onto your CIO as a critical add-on feature needed to be implemented yesterday. Thanks :-)

9. Auto Update Portfolio PDFs with most current versions

   When you create a PDF Portfolio, you're basically bringing in multiple files into one location, correct?

   It would be great if the portfolio automatically updated when one of its' linked files was updated.

   For instance, let's say I made a Portfolio of 12 different PDFs. I make an edit to one of those individual PDFs. The next time I open the portfolio, Acrobat automatically updates the portfolio with the updated PDF.

   Short of that, it would be nice to be alerted that one of the PDFs (or whichever file types are used) has been updated and you can click to relink/refresh.

   Essentially, it would be awesome if it worked like InDesign handles linked files.

   Yes, I know I can just create a INDD file and do this, but this would be great for working across teams. Design department updates an info packet in INDD/AI/PS, exports the finalized file—file is saved on the server/dropbox—Packaging department opens up the PDF portfolio to print all of the necessary packets, the most recent changes are already there.

10. The program randomly closed. I lost ALL my notes. Even my SAVED notes from previous days work.

    I was reviewing an extensive legal document over several days, and making notes as I went. Today as I was typing, the program simply closed. When I opened it up, all my notes were gone. Not just the unsaved ones. ALL of them. Days of work are gone. Definitely looking for alternatives since this one is a waste of my time and resources. Also, this bug entry is obnoxious.

11. Adobe shortcut on desktop unable to be deleted unless admin and it keeps getting added back no matter how many times IT deletes it!

    Stop adding the Adobe shortcut on desktop that users are unable to deleted unless admin privileges are entered. Every update its another email to IT to ask them to delete it.

12. Acrobat Pro DC Crash

    Why is it so difficult to report a bug for Adobe? Your product is a joke. Half the time it works, and the other half of the time, you can't do anything. When I can't do anything, it's either because not a single document will even open up, or if you are able to open it up, the loading bar just goes around and around and around and you can't edit anything. It just freezes up. I have restarted my computer several times. Restarted Adobe several times. Checked to make sure I have the most current version downloaded, and I do. Logged out of all Adobe applications and logged back in, and it's still the same issue. I was not able to edit ANY of my documents yesterday afternoon, and now, noon the following day, I still haven't been able to edit anything. This happens all the time. Doesn't matter if I'm hooked up to the internet via Wi-FI or with an ethernet cable. The problem still persists. I could not be more disappointed in this product.

13. OCR using AI

    The existing OCR function can create really strange interpretations on letters that otherwise look pretty clear to the human eye. Would propose that the OCR use AI language functionality support to encourage higher accuracy in translating the images to text.

15. Clients think documents are signed when they aren't. Interface improvements required.

    Using Adobe Sign today, I also found that the field automation didn't work. The message would show that fields are available, but then when you click the icon to apply the fields, the message would come back that it couldn't find any locations to place a field, totally not recognizing the Signature or date lines requiring manual field placements.

    In the date line options, please add: yyyy-mm-dd - HH:MM:ss
    (required by the Canada Revenue Agency on their T183 Authorization to E-file signature forms). I have to always enter this text manually.

    Also, clients are finding Signing the form confusing. I had several clients today saying that all files are signed, but they aren't. I had to simulate the signature on my end and send them step by step snapshots of the process before they finally got them signed. They thought that once they hit "Finish", they were done, and didn't realize they had to push the "Click to Sign" button. I also found that on a cellphone, if I accidentally swiped the page while trying to finish the signing process, the page would refresh causing me to have to start all over again. I'm guessing this could also make a client think that the document was all signed and submitted! More user feedback is required to help the client recognize the steps to sign their documents. (ie: "Exit without signing" vs "Finish"), place the "Click to Sign" button in a better location so clients see it. Last year, an Adobe Cookie popup at the bottom of the screen blocked that "click to sign" button so the 80+ year old senior citizen client couldn't see it. And with all the computer scams happening these days, people are fearful of pushing buttons they don't understand. I recreated the document on a couple different computers in my house trying to understand why the client was having so much difficulty before encountering that cookie popup on one of my computers. Once that was resolved, the client was able to sign. Simple things to resolve by improving the front end to make things clearer for the client.

    first thing, why is it so hard to give adobe feedback?
    now for the bug, if i click on the page number section and before i type what page i want i switch languages from arabic to english using windows and space buttons, then i enter page number, acrobat reader crashes.

17. Expiry date for password

    It would be useful to be able to set an expiry date on the password. I sell 1 year licenses of resources and password protect them. Ideally I would like to have the password expire in a year so the customer can't access it unless they purchase a new license

18. Adobe Plugins for 64bit Visio application

    As of today, there is no plugins developed for Microsoft Visio 64 bit.
    This feature will enhance generating the PDFs (e.g. retaining the layers from Visio) which is already provided/developed for 32bit application.

    This will also help in securing the compatibility with office 365 applications.

19. Allow the 'Select all' tool to select all the content of all pages at once

    I've never used a program that can edit documents that doesn't let the user select all content of all pages in the document at once, yet that is how Adobe Acrobat works. it seems impossible to select all the content of a PDF to do something as simple as say change the font size/color etc.

    Please please add this as an additional option, either by making a second repeat of the command select across all pages or making the command work with a different key combination.

    I still can't quite believe I'm writing this request... surely I have it wrong and this is possible, yet it seems that it isn't.
