  2. There's a reason corporations are moving wholesale to Bluebeam and ditching Adobe Acrobat. It's an awful pile of steaming poo in comparison. Bluebeam has infinitely more usability and utility. In Adobe, it takes a ridiculous amount of unintuitive clicks to get anything done, marking up or drawing anything with shapes is a clustercluck, just managing the organization of a document is a nightmare.

Do your research with users! this is your worst program.

  4. It took me no less than 2.5 hours to edit a PDF, prepare the form and request signatures. It felt like I was using dial up internet and have never seen the spinning wheel of death that much since 1998. I am not sure what is happening with the programming but y'all need to speed this up because I do NOT have the time to waste just waiting for the program to respond to mouse clicks or keyboard clacks.

  5. Should be able to change the orientation of the toolbar allowing it to be in line with the text so it's not covering the beginning or end of multiple lines but is only covering one line in a top to bottom document that has no margins, like when zoomed in for reading

  6. At the moment, multiple documents needs to be combined if we want to send out multiple documents for signature. This is not ideal, I would prefer to have the ability to send one request (email) and request signatures on multiple files so that customer doesn't get bombarded if we need to send 5 documents for signature at the same time.

  7. Please take a look at bluebeam, and see how well it works to mark-up documents, add text, signature, images, highlighting, drawing, and circling.

  8. It "finds" lots of examples where the found text doesn't match the search for text - see screenshot as an example. It also misses actual occurrences of the search text - in the screenshot, "Article 50" exists much earlier in the document. You can see it also thinks there are over 7,000 instances of the search term in the doc - there are actually fewer than 100.
To fix this I usually end up having to close and reopen the doc. It's an intermittent fault.
    I run Windows 11 on a PC.

  9. Using the latest Adobe Acrobat Pro.

Adobe Acrobat rarely, if ever, correctly auto-allocates tags to do a table. I know it is difficult to do so, and in most cases, I have to hardcode the table using the Reading order panel to make the cells using the paragraph button on the Reading Order panel. And then using new tags and the tags panel to hardcode a table into existence.

This takes a long time, especially as the new tags and paragraph text doesn't pop into the right space. I would like the ability to manually collate sections of text for…

  10. the scrolling on adobe acrobat for windows users is ridiculously frustrating. It goeas from 0 to 100 when using the mousepad. As soon as the bottom of the page is reached even by a pixel, it jumps to the next page. Adobe, realize that you control the way people read in the 21st century. Your adamance on having PDFs be the sole, and universal format entails a huge responsibility on making consuming digital prose EASY. Especially when people are struggling financially and youre charging 23 USD a month!!! Back in the day, people could print and collage or rearrange physical…

  11. Adobe Acrobat is extremely lagging only when zooming in or out, and the file is not even large or anything. It really makes it very painful and difficult to use, please fix asap!

  12. So we moved our organization from DocuSign to Acrobat Sign via Acrobat Pro subscription. Our users start encountering a 100 page limitation. Support says you need an enterprise plan to move up to 500 pages. Looked at the enterprise plan, for some reason it has a 150 transaction limit, but the cheaper option is unlimited? Who is making these decisions? So you have to pay more to get less? This is an incredibly strange decision. Imagine if Microsoft told its customers they could only send 150 emails on 365 unless they move to a cheaper plan.

  13. Whenever I am using the measurement tool (started about two weeks ago) any mouse movement causes the application to seize and stop responding. It seems to be getting overwhelmed by trying to highlight potential snap options. As I mouse toward a desired feature, a neighboring feature will be highlighted and the app freezes. This is a new bug, had not happened until a recent software update.

  14. Using Office 365 with latest updates. Using Adobe Acrobat Pro 2023.003.20244 64-bit.

For multiple PowerPoint presentations, we have seen that if the PowerPoint presentation has an embedded Excel chart or an embedded Excel sheet, when we create a PDF, the resulting PDF has a ghost/shadow type image showing.

This happens when pressing the PowerPoint toolbar button "Create and Share Adobe PDF".

Please note that this shadow/ghosting problem does NOT happen when choosing to print and selecting "Adobe PDF" as the device to print to.

    Samples are attached.

  15. When specifying a date field in a form there is just about every date format available except dd/mm/yyyy - it has to be added as a custom format each time. This is commonly how dates are written in Australia/NZ, would be very handy to have this in the list.

  16. Actually I first needed to ad a stamp that do not cover the document text behind.
Found a user that suggested me to create a signature from a picture.

But now I cannot even find out how to edit my old signature or create an extra text-based signature. There is no button as " Add new signature"

  17. SINCE ITS NEW UPDATE ADOBE HAS BEEN MORE COMPREHENSIVE AND THIS TOOL BAR I WISH IT WERE ON TOP AS BEFORE AND NOT ON THE SIDE AND IT IS LESS VISIBLE. BESIDES, IT BECAME NOT USER FRIENDLY. I AM NOT SURE ABOUT ALL OF NEW DEVELOPMENTS AND IF THEY ARE GOOD FOR USERS. THEY DO NOT THINK THAT WE WANT EASY ACCESS TO TOOLS AND NOT SPENDING TIME TO SEARCH EVERY SINGLE TOOLS. THE LAYOUT IS NOT FRIENDLY TOO. EVERY TIME THEY UPDATE ADOBE IS BECOMING WORST AND WORST AND COMPLICATED.

  18. I regularly highlight documents with numerous colors based on a key. It would be helpful if the comment pane showed the color of the highlight in lieu of the generic grayed out highlight icon. It would make perusing large documents with significant highlights easier to peruse.

    Thanks!

  19. In prior versions of Adobe sign, I could click / select multiple fields and resize all to match the first field selected. As of September 2023 release, this is no longer available in Adobe Sign. See attached PNG for a screenshot of the tools in the "prior experience". Recommend adding this back to current version. It is very painful to resize and move in new version.

  20. Default settings don't apply even after confirmation and restarting the program.

For example: my preferred setting is (single page continuous) and (fit width); yet every time I open a new document, it rebounds to the previous factory settings and not to my custom adjustments; albeit, in the settings, it shows that my recent changes are still as is.
