  2. Please provide an option to disable the blue form field highlighting for a particular pdf form, rather than expecting all users to change this in their preferences. It is frustrating to design a form (in either InDesign or Acrobat Pro DC), then preview the form and discover blue highlighting everywhere. Changing the preferences only changes it for one user not all users who open the file. For a plain B&W form, the blue highlighting may look fine but for a more custom form, it often ruins the design - this is very limiting, please give the form designer more flexibility…

  3. It's very annoying to have the page with Home and Tools, and recent documents, open every time a PDF is opened. Please give us an option to stop that from happening.

  4. I have created a pdf fillable form and the date picker and the signature box only work when I open with Acrobat. Do these not work in Chrome or Edge? I don't want people to have to use special software to fill in the form.

  5. This new version looks so childish! Not professional in appearance at all.

AND... too many steps to digitally sign a document! It used to be so easy! Can't you revert back to what worked smoothly???????

I truly detest working in Acrobat now.

  6. In the commenting mode for Acrobat DC Pro, there are "strikethrough", "replace", and "insert text" tools, among others.

When I select and copy some text (for example, to count the words or rephrase it in another window), it copies the original text and disregards anything crossed out or inserted. This means I have to re-do all the changes by hand.

It would be great if one could copy the text in a way that incorporates the changes, similar to how you can opt to copy text with or without formatting, in some programs.

  7. A complex form that ran fine under older versions of reader, is now intermittently running some of the onboard javascripts incredibly slowly and appearing to the user as freezing (Not Responding).
This does not always occur, and occurs during different operations (using different document level scripts).
I am using Windows 10 Pro 19041.804 (most recent) and have experienced it on Reader 2021.001.20138 32bit and 64bit versions.

  8. Acrobat Reader DC freezes up. this started about 2 weeks ago. Ehen opening a PDF some time i can scroll for a short while then it freezes or some times it freezes as soon as it is launched. I've been through all of the suggested steps nothing so far helps. what next? I don't get an error code. Operating system is Windows 8.1. It worked fine on windows 8.1 earlier so I assume an update was pushed that was not compatible with my machine.

    Help

  9. IF i am having a pdf docs which i need to sign on all the pages, i need to sign this each time on each page and save each tine after each signature, each time selection of tools is also a pain!! don't understand why each time after placing a certificate, pdf asking to save after signature/certificate are placed, it should give a final confirmation once everything is done. i can understand its for security but at least the person who is signing should have this option that he can sign on all docs and at the end save everything.…

  10. Have had problem with several files becoming corrupted by using Reflow View. Two things happen:
    1. Some pages get "stuck" in reflow even after closing and reopening the file.

    2. The format of some pages changes to Portrait or other design changes occur.

    Hi Rae,
I checked the details provided by you. There is no issue here. If you open the original file and click on Actual Size in menu, you will see the same exact view that you see after reflow. The view is actually shown in actual size after reflow.
Keep the view in Zoom to Page Level to see the full page view.

Please confirm if this resolves your concerns.

    Thanks
    Rachit

  11. Using the February 9th version of Adobe Acrobat DC, when I try to add a signature from image in Fill and Sign the image is pixelated and blurry. When I do this on the document cloud, the image is full resolution. Can you fix the bug on the Fill & Sign tool so that we can insert images as signatures at full resolution on the desktop app.

    Hi,

Thanks for providing your feedback. Can you please provide the below details :

    1. Was it working correctly before the Feb 9th Upgrade?
    2 Your OS details.
    3. What kind of image are you working on? Eg : PNG, BMP etc.
    4. It will be great if you can share a sample image with us.

    Regards,
    Sandeep Grover

  12. I need to be able to set the default properties on form fields so that all form fields created in the future --- whether by me manually or automatically by way of Acrobat's Prepare Form > Scan feature --- reflect the "default" property settings, both in the current doc and in all future docs. Default means default.

Let's review the current flow here:

    1) I open a PDF doc that I want to convert to a fillable-form.
    2) I choose Tools --> Prepare Form
    3) I accept the option to scan for all form-field auto detection.
    4) All form fields…

  13. I would like to view documents designed with a cover and spreads as two up. There is a two up option currently, but I want it to ignore the cover.

Currently you can only do this by changing the document settings, saving, quitting and reopening it.

I don't want to edit the document to change the view, and I am unable to do so with restricted files.

  14. There is a "rotate clockwise"-option under right click but why not also a counterclockwise option? The right-click rotate is quick and easy to use when just viewing documents but there should also be an option to rotate counterclockwise also.

  15. Periodically, Adobe lets you know of what they think are wonderful ideas, but they do so by rebuilding my pinned tools list.....so I have to go and select MY tools AGAIN. This is the fourth for fifth time in six months and I am really getting sick of it. Who gave you the right to adjust what tool items I have pinned. You know, the ones I know I use....not the one some marketing A-Hole can only think (hope) I use. Absolutely a pain in the butt.

  17. It would be great if there was a way to drag and drop an open PDF on to an email that is already open. The "Attach to email" feature only opens a new email. For example, I'm in an email chain where I'm periodically downloading PDFs from a software, and I want to attach it to the email chain and send it off. Currently, I need to save the document locally and then attach it, which takes extra time and space. It would be helpful if there was a way to just drag and drop the PDF onto the open…

  18. There is an option to always close all tabs in the dialog pop up but no option to just close the current tab by default when X'ing out on the top right of the window. I would like to be able to just close the current tab by default.

  20. This is clearly a software bug, not an idea.

When I create a brochure in Acrobat DC, it automatically changes the groupings of text boxes, making it difficult to make future modifications. How do I make it retain the text boxes as I built them? It is less of a problem if it separates a text box into two boxes. It is a big problem when it arbitrarily combines two or more text boxes into one.

It occurs randomly. On some brochures that I create, they retain the original structure when I open them again for further editing. On others,…
